The show could've made her leaving the bau because of the ptsd and make her get help for it and then help others with it. But the writers did her dirty and made her the bad guy as always.
I can't blame her for killing the guy. She's an expert on sexual crimes and have seen women and men not prosecuted for what they've done to others. With the addition of her getting shot on the one place she thought she's safe that added on paranoa it's quite reasonable but what she did truly wrong in my eyes is she didn't have enough evidence for murdering the guy. She trusted her gut which was illogical.
they did have evidence actually, and it actually was him anyway. the only thing is that the evidence wouldn’t hold up in court. she knew he was parked by her house and if she hadn’t approached the car, he would have approached her house. it can’t be just a coincidence that this stranger was parked outside her house waiting for a certain moment, when they had set up a scheme with the documents at the fertility clinic for her. that’s conclusive I think. but I agree. she’s the FBI. they shouldn’t kill unprovoked and if it’s not self defense. (but she passed it off as that so..)
I'm not upset about her killing a rapist, but her justifications were sooo wrong. She blames Hotch for no reasons💁🏽 like you've PTSD stay out of field, but she comes along. Then she takes it out on Hotch which is absurd because he's never ever put himself ahead of the team.
Hotchner and Gideon knew the WHOLE time that Elle had murdered that guy ... and that it would be found as a justified shoot ... and likely that she'd never work for them again by her own accord.
😂😂😂 I like her but this is the weirdest take. She's almost nobody, and her replacement, Emily was much better. Show worked way fine after her departure, for more than a decade. You're talking like after two seasons, show ended
@@subwaysurfer5378 You can prefer her, but to say that show went downhill without her, is absurd. She's mediocre in comparison to everyone else on team, and actually lost it after the incident. Show went downhill in last couple of seasons when they'd half of original cast and made the show a fan fiction.
To me, Elle never seemed to have what it takes. Don't get me wrong, she's an all star at her job, but she doesn't have hall of fame ability like everyone else.
@@gettingcalledoutontwitteri1882 she just didn't seem to be at the same level as everyone else. Don't get me wrong, she was excellent. But just not at Hotch, Gideon, or Prentiss levels. Just like in sports there's a big difference between an all star and a hall of famer.

If they kept her the show wouldn't have gone downhill. And those Elle haters picked the wrong buttons. T

Season 1 was my favorite season.
@@subwaysurfer5378 Gideon and Elle were better than Rossi and Emily.
Ellie cracked under the pressure.
Hotch was awful here. Said “i’m listening”, then moralises to her when she tries to open up.
Except she tried to deflect and deny what she had done. That was when the “moralizing” began.
She was defo in the wrong

Meh, Elle was never that great of a character.
Her character was not very impressive but she made an effort of making it a lot less with that haircut!!!
