4:10 RIP the two members of The Who John Entwistle (October 9, 1944 - June 27, 2002), aged 57 Keith Moon (August 23, 1946 - September 7, 1978), aged 32 You both will be remembered as legends.
The explosion scene from 1967 looks amazing. Its clearly visible how Moonie is showing to pyrotechnician a sign to switch on. And Entwistle is REALLY annoyed. And where Pete was gone due the explosion?
@steve gale Well, I'm sure there are plenty of people in this world that have an unfavourable impression of me. Not necessarily rightly, all things considered.
Destroying Instruments, throwing TV's out of hotel windows, they were publicity stunts, manufactured by their manager, any publicity is good publicity.
And I don't understand having a dozen dancers on stage at a music concert instead of seeing the musicians. It was just to draw attention, their signature.
It actually started as an accident and wasn't intentional, they were playing in a venue with a low ceiling and Pete's guitar went through the ceiling and the audience thought it was part of the act, Keith Moon then started destroying his drum kit, they seen how much the audience reacted so continued, but in them days they weren't being paid much money and Pete found it hard buying new guitars all the time! So it started as completely unintentional and unplanned but it became their trademark.

Sure! Were there others? Sure! (I'm using revenue figures here...not 'which one was more 'artistic' or 'supposedly avant garde' like 'Zep' ...$$$$ are what I'm considering, and the 'Stones' made 'barrow-loads' of CA$H in touring for those ten years! Far more than the 'Beatles' ever dreamed-of...ticket-prices rose, and revenue jumped dramatically...and THAT is the 'name of the game')
@Dan Smedstad The Rolling Stones sat on their movie "Rock n Roll Circus" for decades because the Who were so much better than them. The Who live on stage were a force of nature.
You have the wrong rock star! It’s Eric Clapton who went crazy in the mid 1976 by screaming on stage « keep Britain wh*te » and mentioned Britain as a « black colony ». Please don’t make any disinformation! Roger Daltrey is far from being perfect but he has never been a racist!
Massive massive band in the '70's. Whereas, you're Mike Williams, a man so boring your parents couldn't even be arsed spending any time thinking of a decent name.
Mike Williams not the biggest? Yes, like Anthony said, probably LZ and maybe The Stones ( sucked ) but most definitely THE BEST! No disrespect at all to AC/DC but the best Rock and Roll band ever was The Who.
As much as I love the WHO, it's been a retread since 1977 and should have ended with John Entwistle's passing. The fact that they just plodded on to the next show after his death is one of the most disgusting career choices I have ever witnessed and one I will never forgive.
There's no doubt be could sing but I wish he would keep his stunted political views to himself...I bet he's so glad not to wake up as a plasterers mate every morning because he's of the same intelligence.
+paulthepill Wrong Daltrey attended acton grammar school after passing his 11 plus gaining the highest marks in his year was also a hot candidate for a top university place, before they accepted any half baked tom dick or harry .

John Entwistle (October 9, 1944 - June 27, 2002), aged 57
Keith Moon (August 23, 1946 - September 7, 1978), aged 32
You both will be remembered as legends.
loved when he did i want it all at freddie mercurys tribute concert
Omg yes he is wonderful
Dude looked older than his age all through his more youthful years, but he does not look 74 now!
I love roger he’s such an incredible guy and a true rock idol
In my opinion there's very few respectable rock stars out there, but he's one of them
One of rock’s best singers, who played along with one the best bass players, best drummers and best song writers.
Jeff Baker nob
I would say that John Entwistle was the best bassist.
💯👍
Love the way that Entwistle remains totally detached from the mayhem going on around him lol.
As I remember it he wasn't averse to winding Moon up
Yeah, I noticed that.
Lucky he's dead then
Spanky Harland Is that the rule we have to follow? 😂
A part of the joke is Entwistle looking on
Man Roger is energetic for his age, I love him
I never thought I’d see Roger Daltrey and the Rock shake hands
It never even crossed my imagination
Roger is a genius God bless him.
The explosion scene from 1967 looks amazing. Its clearly visible how Moonie is showing to pyrotechnician a sign to switch on. And Entwistle is REALLY annoyed. And where Pete was gone due the explosion?
Stunningly beautiful man!
What a lovely chap Roger seems.
@steve gale Well, I'm sure there are plenty of people in this world that have an unfavourable impression of me. Not necessarily rightly, all things considered.
@steve gale Well, can't argue with that.
Still looks great. What a voice on the classic Who records. As powerful as anything in nature (cranked full volume on good headphones)!
A true legendary Rock star.
Looking fabulous.
Blessings from Wolverhampton to you Roger.
For 74 here, If I didn't know, according to WIKI, I'd think he's 50. :0
I still have a 'real' mother and father, but, since 12 years of age Roger, Pete, John and Keith are my 'Godfathers', who utterly changed my life, xxx
He is so charming!
Megan Moonflakes Yes he is. He always has been
Even the Rock is straightin up to meet the Rock....respect..... love it!!!
How are these people not bowing in his awesome presence?
Because that would be stupid
I loved You Roger ❤️
Love Rodger Daltrey love the who
Loved him in Highlander
He was great. It’s a shame that the character wasn’t given more time to develop.
You're still looking great Roger!
A mate lives near him says he's a nice guy, into train sets and deaf as a post now lol.
Roger, Martin and The Rock should do a movie together. Soundtrack by Rick Wakeman with some vocals by Roger!
I am still their biggest fan!!!
This is great i've always been a big who fan. Live At Leeds is one of my favorites.
Wow he really looks great
Legend
Rock God Roger!
just brilliant - go on my son!
When you see The Rock so humble when Roger comes to the lobby, says a lot
The Who such an underrated band..
He's an absolute gem of a man much more approachable I feel than Pete
I love this man x
OMG.. He's still sexy.. Rock on Roger!!! well done Graham..
Rock on RUBBISH UGLY DOG JUST LIKE THE MUSIC.

Hey Kids that are Alright Roger's autobiography will be released at the end of October 2018!!! WHO RAY !!!💋💜💎
cannot wait for his film about Keith Moon-
I think if i ever had the chance to meet roger or pete I'd pass out lol.
Hard to believe Roger is almost 75 and he still looks great for his age.
Ageing well
F'n guy looks great!!
Maybe he didn't write any Who songs, but Roger had a massive voice.
He's a pub singer at best.
@@pleasepermitmetospeakohgre1504 not a bad career for a pub singer...
No Doubt the Best Rock Singer of any Rock Band...... ever!!
No. Lennon-McCartney.
Mercury??
EASY but very very good
could name 3-4 front men all better than Lennon/McCartney - Including Daltry.
You must Be on drugs. Or did Roger sell. You some.
Who could forget the _Who Are You_ track from TV series _CSI: Crime Scene Investigation_ . . .
Wow he looks really good!
SURE DOES FOR 74
Because he’s had work done over the years , don’t know any one who looks like that at his age
I must have missed the bit where Daltrey said he was on his face on the floor.
He look so young
Freaking love this guy. Saw him when he could still hit those powerful notes instead of singing like Shatner.
Even The Rock looks star struck
he looks excellent for his age , it'll be the hair
john smith has he got a new set of gnashers?
Amazing journey the oo
I'm 62 and look 20 years older than him
He's had plenty of work done.

Hugh Fitzcairn!

The others on the couch must be very impressed, all clustered together and then Daltrey 1m apart :D
Ageing rockers who look so healthy like the stones, led zeppelin and the who are a great advertisement for the rock 'n roll lifestyle .
He took his book to publishers and they "liked it." Yeah, right---it had the smell of celebrity money on every page.
He looks abit like huge grant now
What is vim??
Powdered floor cleaner
They used to call him dodgy Roger
Looks like an aging Hugh Grant
In his dreams...he could only wish he looked like either of them.
So much for him saying he was flat on his face on the floor. Erm, not so....
Yeah, he's a bit of a billy bullsh*tter is daltrey.
If they ever do a biopic or something, they should go with Hugh Grant
Ye
Nah,he doesn't resemble young roger daltrey
I have to admit, I don't understand the destroying the musical instruments thing. It just seems kind of stupid.
It does. I think it was meant to shock the parents who, having gone through the Depression, considered waste a shameful thing.
Destroying Instruments, throwing TV's out of hotel windows, they were publicity stunts, manufactured by their manager, any publicity is good publicity.
