Here’s why I prefer the ‘old style’ AC; You’re able to explore the world & learn about history easier due to having to spend less time gearing/levelling up, the grind gets in the way of the most interesting part, The World.
The 3 last assassin's creed where more like warrior's creed because it wasn't focus on the same things then the old style AC(Valhalla didn't felt like an AC game ) so I'm hype for mirage hope they make a great game, they should take their time making it.
I liked Origins because I felt that while it was open world I felt that it was scaled better in the leveling and was “big enough”. Getting to the Pyramids and the Sphinx was amazing. It was just more balanced in their experiment. Odyssey and Valhalla just got too big and busy imo.
For the record on the original Forest, you're not "some father running around the woods" you actually play as a survival expert who happens to be a dad, that's how they make the crafting menu (survival guide) contextual in game.
The games that I’m excited for 2023 are hogwarts legacy, avatar frontiers of pandora, starfield, atomic heart, wow long, one piece odyssey,Jedi fallen survivor.
👍 It's arguably my no1 for this Year: depending if Zelda TOTK is just more of Breath of the Bland (samey boring enemies and still no dungeons.) And if Starfield really doesn't let you seamlessly fly into space (so, basically like any 20 year old game that has loading screens before No Man's Sky gave Us true total freedom.) Even if those 2 games do pop - Stalker 2 merely by the trailers totally trounces the old one on atmosphere alone!
I’ve been waiting for Wo long Fallen Dynasty,Tears of the Kingdom and Rise of Ronin. Also I wouldn’t be mad if FromSoftware decided to make a sequel to Bloodborne or Sekrio

Ye, but at what cost?????? During the old era, you could get thousand of cheap good games in a matter of days... Poor, nice and innocent times for all the kids back then. Nowadays, they focus a lot on next gen consoles, on AI, on connected devices to human beings to make them look realistic, and they just add some 3d graphic backgrounds to make them look even more realistic. And you can get 5-10 overrated and expensive games in a matter of months or years!!! Don't forget what expensive systems you need to have to actually play this kind of games. Do you really prefer playing games your whole life and wait for good games every 10 years like GTA VI for example? Or you prefer playing a lot of good games in 1-5 years and then stop forever? Hogwarts Legacy, Forspoken, Spider-Man II, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, I’m excited for all of these. I am, however, curious about Rise of the Ronin.
I've been excited for Doke-V since I first heard about it. Unless it's drastically changed from the last time I checked, it's going to be a perfect game for me to play with my kids.
I like the old style of AC with the bios of characters you meet like Lorenzo Medici in AC 2 it actually helped me study for a history test about Lorenzo
So glad you had starfield at #1 I was getting nervous. I feel like most aren’t giving Bethesda their flowers that are well deserved. 76 was their only real flop and there were reasons for that. Not justified reasons, but Starfield has no evidence of being trash.
Crimson Desert looks like it could be a sleeper hit, I'll be paying attention to that one. I'm also looking forward to Ronin but other youtube pages say it's not coming out till next year.
I am super psyched for Starfield, and intrigued by Forspoken and Season... But Avowed? Come ON! I almost love that we hear almost nothing about Avowed. That said - I WANT IT.
The main open world games I’m excited for is Spider-Man 2 PS5, Jedi Survivor, Starfield, KOTOR remake(hopefully will get some news on that. Maybe it might come out December 2023 or early next year). Man this is gonna be a great year for video games. Also you don’t like Miles Morales’s black & red costume? Why do you say that? Are they giving him a different look in this game?
I don't know either, it's looks more of the same from his game. Besides that, I'm looking forward to it as well, including DokeV and Assassin's Creed Mirage.
@@VongolaXZax truth be told I’m kind of burnt out with the assassins Creed games. I mean I can understand why a lot of hard-core fans of the franchise are excited. However I’ve kind of had enough after The Kenway Trilogy. The only things that will get me to play an AC game again, is to put a story within the Civil War(maybe Connor’s grandson can be in the war) or the WW1 & WW2 story. or maybe even put a game within the Maccabee Revolution(A.k.a. Hanukkah).
@@JP-jd8wr I was just guessing that it would come out this year or early next year because if I recall correctly, I think this year marks an anniversary for knights of the old republic. It came out 20 years ago. time flies dude. It’s not a release then maybe some more details on the game.
@@Steel-101 to be honest, I'd rather a Assassin's Creed game, set in the modern day era for a change, bring back Desmond and wrap up the story. After going through more than one history setting from the past, I would like the game to focus on the future. Eventually, Ubisoft is going to run out of different time periods for the games, which isn't a bad thing, but the story as a whole needs a good wrap up
I'm hyped for Hogwart's Legacy and will wait for AC Mirage reviews. If it's better then the last awful games i might consider it. Would be nice to return to the roots of the series.
Dead Space Remake (1/27/23), Atomic Heart (2/21/23), Horizon: Call of the Mountain (2/22/23), Star Wars: Jedi Survivor (3/16/23), Diablo IV (6/5/23), Final Fantasy XVI (6/22/23), Suicide Squad vs. The Justice League (TBA 2023), Marvel's Spider-Man 2 (TBA 2023), and Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth (TBA 2023). 2023 is stacked for me.
I am so excited for Doke v. I had even forgot how it was called and just remembered the images. If its out and good, I'll build a pc just to be able to play it 😆
S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 Definately deserves top 3 in this list. First S.T.A.L.K.E.R games /w mods holds up to this day both gameplay & graphics wise. Also considering their hardships the developers has faced recently in Ukraine I still hope that it somehow will be released this year. I've played a lot of games since 1993 but S.T.A.L.K.E.R is just something that is hard to top.
Crimson, Dokev, AC: Mirage, Avowed, Hogwarts Legacy, Avatar, Zelda...the only thing i pray for this year is that these games don't get released in a shitty way
Starfield, Zelda, Star Wars, Avatar, Hogwarts, Redfall, Forspoken, Where Winds Meet, Assassins creed, Avowed, Atomic Heart, and Rise of Ronin are all gonna end up on my wishlist lol As a married man with a toddler, I tend not to buy all the games I want, but I do end up buying 1 full price game per year and that'll be Starfield more than likely... I'm itchin for some new creation engine bugs apparently
Half of games in this list will probably be delayed but surely it will still be an amazing gaming year. If Starfield manages to mix something between Skyrim + Mass Effect the conclusion will be legendary.
Hey guys Idea for a couple of vids: Top highly rated/popular games that you thought sucked (and why); vice versa: Top poorly rated games that you thought were actually pretty great (and why)
I'm intrigued by skull and Bones. I like Ac: Black Flag because it touched that button that made me actually feel like a pirate, similar to how RDR2 made me feel most like a cowboy in the old west. Hopefully the lengthy development will mean the developers actually put the effort into the game and just won't give us crap because I think it could give us even more of that feeling. I tried so much to get into Ark but I got so lost with it. I do hope Ark 2 adds to the good qualities that Ark had but also making it a little more player-friendly. I felt overwhelmed and over my head with it more often than not.
I'm excited for ksp2 and starfield, would be interesting to see the state that these games come out as they seem to both have the largest maps. Hopefully not a buggy mess:)
Just think man. In 15 years we’ll look back and say “those graphics are shit compared to what we have now.” Just makes me so hyped to see what they can do to make games look even better in the future
Spider-man 2 and Zelda Tears of the Kingdom are my top 2 gotta have it day one games for 2023! I’m hoping for even a special edition Switch for Zelda 😁
Is it just me??? Open world games for along time had been my favorite. Games like Assassins Creed I would 100% clear the maps. I dont know what it is exactly but after 100% on cyberpunk 2077 and AC Valhalla back to back... I have been drained. Any open world game after that I wouldn't even set myself the goal of completing. Horizon Forbidden West was the only open world I did a 100% play on last year.
2023 is looking stacked. Also, no reason to believe that Starfield won’t come out first half of this year. The rumors are unfounded. We’ll be getting the official release date soon.

We should check this video in December and see how many were actually released. I'm betting maybe 9 out of 25!
I’m excited for starfield, Jedi survivor, and hogwarts legacy
Rise of Ronin, DokeV, Assassin's Creed Mirage, Hogwarts Legacy, Star Wars: Jedi Survivor and Spider-man 2 for me!!
I've been looking for DokeV news for MONTHS and just couldn't remember the name. Thank you, Falcon. You've literally changed my day ☄️
I like the old style of AC with the bios of characters you meet like Lorenzo Medici in AC 2 it actually helped me study for a history test about Lorenzo
👍🏼
So glad you had starfield at #1 I was getting nervous. I feel like most aren’t giving Bethesda their flowers that are well deserved. 76 was their only real flop and there were reasons for that. Not justified reasons, but Starfield has no evidence of being trash.
My 5 most anticipated
Resident Evil 4
Spider-Man 2
Atomic Heart
Jedi Survivor
Wo Long Fallen Dynasty
Crimson Desert looks like it could be a sleeper hit, I'll be paying attention to that one. I'm also looking forward to Ronin but other youtube pages say it's not coming out till next year.
IIRC, they already said in the first Trailer, Ronin is coming 2024.
I see you like this channel how about give mine a try we are trying to hit 50 sub this year
Some great potential. Very curious to see which of these will end up landing as hits, and on game pass as a plus :)
Ok
DokeV, the 1800’s Samurai game, Spiderman, Star Wars, Assassins Creed, and Hogwarts Legacy all look amazing
Sons of the forest looks really good!
Hanukkah).
There's ZERO chance KOTOR remake comes out in 2023. I doubt it even comes out in 2024 honestly.
Pre ordered Hogwarts Legacy weeks ago
Looking forward to Avowed, Hogwarts Legacy & Avatar. I'm most excited for Avatar, Pandora is WONDERFUL
I hope avatar is gonna be good but with Ubisoft needing money be sceptical
If its out and good, I'll build a pc just to be able to play it 😆
Right it looks really refreshing
Dokev also said to make its way to console for anyone wondering.
@@xr8q6e really? thats awesome👍👍
Oooh I’m so excited for gaming this year! So much to look forward to!
Crimson, Dokev, AC: Mirage, Avowed, Hogwarts Legacy, Avatar, Zelda...the only thing i pray for this year is that these games don't get released in a shitty way
I really hope we get another amazing game to get lost in for hundreds of hours like Elden Ring. My hopes are high for Hogwarts Lagacy and StarField.
AC Origins? played that recently and i enjoyed it better than elden ring
Only after the modders fix it xD
Hey guys
Idea for a couple of vids: Top highly rated/popular games that you thought sucked (and why); vice versa: Top poorly rated games that you thought were actually pretty great (and why)
Thanks for your suggestion
Hogwarts Legacy has been a BLAST so far! Absolutely STUNNING game with in-depth gameplay. I haven't enjoyed a game like HL in a long time.
It's crazy how some games take so long to develop they were on the Top 20 list last year ..and now this year too.
A lot of those games look next level. Completely insane graphics. Can't wait
Just think man. In 15 years we’ll look back and say “those graphics are shit compared to what we have now.” Just makes me so hyped to see what they can do to make games look even better in the future
@@rootv750 I don't think we will really as we can't go much further than 120fps and 8k on consoles anyway, we have just about reached our limit
@@rootv750 I am not a disrespectful next gen shit so I won't say that
@@graygray2444 VR, in VR you will see more detail and demand more realistic graphics
@@rootv750 i don't think we will, gow and rdr 2 came out 5 years ago and they still look gorgeous, we won't see such impovements as we did in 2010s
Spider-man 2 and Zelda Tears of the Kingdom are my top 2 gotta have it day one games for 2023! I’m hoping for even a special edition Switch for Zelda 😁
Love to see Crimson Desert in the list.
I wish Dragons Dogma 2 was on this list. Sucks we're probably going to have to wait a few years for that one.
All these open worlds to explore and yet I still find my way back to playing Cup Head for the majority of the year.
I hate this kind of videos, "New Open World Games of 2023" when in reality most of the games mentioned will come out in 2024 if not later.
Heyyy I have a great idea. You should do a top 5 or 10 about games you think will flop. It would be great to hear you ranting about that
I only care about Starfield and Atomic Heart ❤️
don't think we'll see avowed this year but its by far my most anticipated game. cannot wait for more info on this
Please make a list of new/upcoming local co op/split screen games
Thanks to playing the demo, I know for a fact that Forspoken is going to be dope af! 😎👍🏻
2023 is looking stacked. Also, no reason to believe that Starfield won’t come out first half of this year. The rumors are unfounded. We’ll be getting the official release date soon.
2023 could kick some serious @ss!!!
🤞
so many amazing games coming out this year 😍 I'm looking forward to hogwarts legacy, seasons, assassins creed mirage, avatar and dokev. I'm excited for some of the xbox exclusives like redfall and starfield but I don't have an xbox yet...might have to pick one up.
