Thank you for this video. I lost sound on my Visio 2014 soundbar for no apparent reason. I started doing resets and troubleshooting, etc.. It turned out that somehow the mode for hookup changed. I was using RCA audio cables. I changed the mode to option #2. That got my sound back.

Would like to add to this as a solution for issues, switch the tv audio output option to PCM that fixed my issue legitimately because I kept getting it to work and then it would stop working randomly!!
How would I connect wireless headphones to sound bar so I could hear through headphones, but also hear the tv and the same time, for others in the room that do not have headphones.

Simply put Two dashing lights indicate Input 1-4 on my model Aux is Input 2 not Input 1. Although my model and remote look the same, Aux is Two Lights flashing second to the bottom. I figured it out.
is there a way to make so when it powers on it goes to specific input, ie. power on go to bluetooth right away.

Hi, so I'm hoping you can help me with my vizio system I would like to STOP my tv remote from turning on my sound bar, don't get me wrong I like when I could control them both together but I also like just to hear the tv only sometimes and I can't stop it from working together the only thing that seems to work is when I unplug the power from the sound bar lolll obviously but I don't want to be doing that all the time plugging and unplugging the sound bar can you HELP ME PLEASE...

The soundbar stops working when I switch the video input on the TV. I have to recycle threw the inputs to get it to work again. For example, when I switch from my ps3 to regular TV input, the soundbar doesn't make the switch. Any advice? I really like the soundbar, when it's working, but this has become to much trouble and I'm thinking about sending it back
