Welcome back to History with Seb! This video is about the recent Wagner Rebellion from 23 to 24 June 2023.
On 23 June 2023, the Wagner Group, a Russian government-funded paramilitary and private military company, instigated a rebellion amid rising tensions with the Russian Ministry of Defence and its leader Yevgeny Prigozhin. The conflict stemmed from Prigozhin's criticism of Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov, blaming them for military shortcomings and accusing them of surrendering Russian territories to Ukraine. Wagner's forces took control of Rostov-on-Don and advanced towards Moscow, repelling Russian military air attacks. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko mediated a settlement, leading Prigozhin to agree to end the rebellion. Russian President Vladimir Putin denounced the actions as treason and pledged to quell the rebellion. The Federal Security Service later closed the case on 27 June, dropping charges related to armed rebellion.

btw prigozhin was killed in a plane crash, shot down by the Russian ministry of defence.

Good movie. I really like the graphics on this channel. You have a great drawing style. I love the faces you made of Prigozhin and Putin.
If it weren't for the fact that I had a good understanding of the topic of the war in Ukraine and watched live news all day long, I would have probably misunderstood what was happening at several points. Mainly because of the maps, especially when you talk about Kadyrov's story.

Since you do history videos I would very much enjoy a source and literature list to counter check your claims.
While for this specific topic you are correct to my knowledge (after all, this was the news in last year) I espacially had no previous knowledge about your most recent video on the luxembourg rebellion.
