I remember seeing this guy on the dutch Lowlands festival in 2004 or 2005. In the middle of the day, at the smallest stage. I think there were about a 100 people there, and texted a friend who was somewhere else on the festival: "RUN HERE AS FAST AS YOU CAN, THIS IS EPIC". I've been to hundreds of concerts and festivals after that, and so did my friend. But we still feel that moment, in that small tent, on that hot sunny afternoon is one of the best concerts we've ever seen. Oh, memories...

I used to see Mike all of the time at Blake's on Telegraph before he had the Magic Pipe when That 1 Guy would open for his band. Back then he was doing his act with a one-stringed bass (labeled "Evil").
