Hey guys, it’s Hina from Rebalance!
Today I want to talk to all of you that have something that feels like a UTI - maybe you’re feeling the symptoms of urinary frequency, burning or bladder pain.
But either you’ve gone to a lot of different doctors to find out you either had one and now you don’t but you’re still having your symptoms or you’ve tests and they’re not finding anything.
If you’ve had yourself tested for a UTI but you’re still having symptoms, and no one’s giving you answers, it could be coming from your pelvic floor muscles.
Your pelvic floor is a group of muscles that sit in your pelvis that connect from your tailbone to your pubic bone. They sit like a hammock in your pelvis and they go through your vaginal canal, rectal canal and your urethra. If there’s issues in your pelvic floor, it can potentially cause issues around your urethra and bladder, giving you symptoms that feel like a UTI, but are actually tight muscles.
If you suspect this might be going on, what do you do?
Find a pelvic floor therapist near your area that really understand the pelvic floor and how to treat it. You need an internal examination to check to see if the pelvic floor muscles are involved.
If you’re in the Philadelphia-area, visit our website www.rebalancept.com for more information or to schedule a complimentary phone consultation. If you’re not in the area but are seeking a recommendation, contact us and we can help you find a professional in your area.

I have been having those symptoms similar to Uti and it’s never a UTI. I feel it’s my pelvic floor . I had thoracic spinal fusion surgery right after I turned 41. My pelvic area had been different since . During sex I feel like my vagina has shortened and it’s painful . I just turned 45
