This is too accurate, I always lie ab why I don't want to go to school- I hate going to school so much, no one understands me and I feel like even my friends aren't really friends even though they're always there for me. I wish to be older, no longer 13. I want to grow up and be happy.
Totally agree! Honestly I have a distance learning now and I can tell that it is more comfortable than usuall learning in a school. The fact that school can hurt you psychically so easily is kinda sad.
It'll eventually break. Don't worry. When you and many of your peers are going through puberty, which is a long long process, you temporarily become sociopaths. Just how it is. My theory is that it blocks out outside social stimuli so teenagers would be isolated in the night so they could be the night watch. Like yawning. Usually our brains will automatically make us yawn when we even think about yawning, but a teenager will sometimes not do it when looking at a person yawn. I bring this up because most likely right now you don't have any empathy, so you have a sort of block where you don't think correctly about how people actually view you. In reality everyone of your peers need eachother on different levels, your friends, and everyone connected. I thought a lot as a teen, too much in fact. Id recommend looking past the fog of hormones and thinking rationally, like "why would I think my friends are not my friends?" And don't let your mind try to say "Oooh well you're pathetic and means and blah blah blah." That is the hormones talking. Your friends most likely really need your support just as much as you need theirs.
This was me in middle school. Im a junior in high school now. And things are much better, but I will never forget. (the only thing is that I never smoked before and i still don't, but other than that, this was me).
I was always the "gifted kid😒" "teachers pet" "nerd" "too smart for class" but none of them realized i may learn quick, but i have a really hard time understanding things(math) unless the teacher helps me specifically ,and i can't take notes for the life of me because i can't write very fast, so by the time they finish the topic, i forget what they said before i even have 3 words down, yeah i'm the smartest in class , but i can't study,idk how. Elementary school was fine because I was already passed that grade, In middle school was fine because the teachers would help me. But i literally quit high school because the teachers wouldn't help me, they just gave me work i didn't understand and left me in the back of the class, i couldn't even see the board because i have bad eyesight. And i told them this ( I did pass High school math. but I did that before ,so they stuck me in even College level math. As soon as I got there In the middle of The school year.) Yeah i went from an A+ student in everything , to an f in most as soon as high-school started (not to mention being bullied 3rd-10th) so In conclusion, if I ever have kids aint no way. I'm sending them to public school. I'll home school than myself.
when i moved in with my mom she questioned why I hated school so much ,which I had to transfer schools and start new at a different school and yet she still gets mad and questions why i skip the bus each morning , and she still sends me this song is the exact definition of what school feels like , Like being stuck in a cage
I hate how nobody understands what school is like for me. Like just think System: F*cked Teachers: assh*les Classmates: b*tches And after you hear them saying "we care about you" and "school is your second home" 💀
