Neat detail, Lambeth, for Voldemort's birth place. It was one of the worst districts in London back in the day. It' also famous from a famous working class song, called the Lambeth Walk. Lovely research, Muggle Magic.

The Hope Diamond necklace that u saw in the catalog is a real life diamond necklace and it is displayed in a museum in Washington DC. The one in Titanic took their inspiration from that exact necklace or something like that. The Hope Diamond is my #1 favorite diamond of all time. It is a cursed item as many people have said for many generations. Many people who have owned the diamond were either killed or went bankrupted. Like King Louis XIII who got his head...u know. Read its story, it’s fascinating.

Codex gigas in the catalogue is pretty clever! It is also known as The Bible of the Devil. It is the largest manuscript in the world, written in 13th century in Czech lands (Czech Republic today). Legend says that the codex was written by a sinful monk, who wanted to avoid of punishment so he promised that he will write the largest book with all wisdom of the world, overnight. What was impossible. So he made a deal with the Devil who wrote this book instead of him.
I love the legend behind it.

The Hope Diamond being in there is pure genius! The misfortune attributed to the diamond is incredible! Owners committed suicide, were murdered, and left penniless through bad investments. Those who came in contact with the diamond suffered failed marriages, dead children, drug addiction, insanity.... the list goes on. Nice one, Danny!

I’ve always been interested in the hope diamond. My fiancé had his senior trip for high school in DC and took a picture of it because he knew I was interested in it!
@@cherrywallis It has a very interesting history. On the flip side, as someone that had a 15 year career in the jewelry industry, The Hope Diamond is also a sore subject. It was originally purchased by King Louis XIV as a 112 3/16-carat diamond. It wasnt too long after King Loius had it recut by the Royal Jeweler, resulting in a 67 1/8-carat stone. It had been sold many times, and somewhere along the way was recut again, resulting in the 45.52 carat stone we know today. More than half of that beautiful stone, removed... its heartbreaking. What really makes the stone unique, is that it is classified as a type IIb diamond, which are semiconductive and usually phosphorescent. The Hope diamond phosphoresces a strong red color when exposed to UV light. It's truly an amazing stone.

Woooow I think that when youtubers make subscription boxes they are even more bomb, cause they put so much love on them.
The closer I look at this box the more impressed I am, the attention to detail is absolutely amazing! I agree with Cherry, I would have wished that the book covers were a little more high quality, maybe even with some foiling, instead of including so many options. After seeing the Accio ones we’re a little spoiled 😄 Other than that I can’t wait for the next one!
I'm glad you liked the box! I opted to print the cover on standard paper because it's a DIY project including cutting and gluing, which wouldn't work so well with thicker, coated paper.

I love this box. It all feels like it’s come straight out of the wizarding world. I love items that feel they they are really out of the wizarding world.
Some themes he could do in the future could be - Yule ball, the quiditch World Cup & Weasley twins as they can give several paper replicas.
Just a simple clarification: The “dragon” on the White Wyvern glass shouldn’t be there...it should be an actual Wyvern. There’s a key difference between the two, Dragons have four legs, Wyverns only have two. Otherwise, it’s really cool!

Actually this logo is the exact one of the pub in the film. Also in Harry Potter all “dragons” have two legs and two wings, whereas they chose a four legged version as a logo for the White Wyvern, so maybe in this universe it’s the other way around. I think every fantasy universe kinda makes up their own classifications of “big scary lizards” :)

Yeah sure, they exist. But there has to be some kind of other destinction then, because it’s obviously not the number of limbs. Maybe JKR thought about other special characteristics that weren’t explicitly mentioned 🤷🏽♀️ Anyway, I’m sure in her mind it all makes perfect sense :D
Cloud Nah. That can’t be it. I mean, JK wrote the books and barely had anything to do with the movies other than the important decisions. It was most likely just a mistake from the people who designed a logo. No shade though because it’s a nice logo.

LOL yeah, that was my thought too when I first heard it. I think she meant it more for something that you would be able to go to archives an actually get it, like a physical representation that it actually existed and you could potentially have it in your hands, if not the original, a copy.

The Hope Diamond is still on display in the Smithsonian in Washington DC from what I know about it. It was once worn by Marie Antoinette if I'm not mistaken.

In that catalog .. Diamond of hope is that what was on Titanic 😄 because there Is myth about it.. that is the diamond is cursed ... And that codex gigas is also known as Satan bible and myth about it says that one imprisoned monk (he done some satanistic rituals) wrote this in one night because devil possessed him... and that happend in one city in my country 😅👌🏻

One criticism of this box, and I’m sorry, Wyverns have two legs, not four. Dragons have four legs.
You're right that Wyverns only have two legs, but I think the creator of the box was going with the Tavern logo seen in the movie. I don't think it's an issue with the box, but more of the set designers of the film not knowing the difference.

I hope that he keeps with these kind of character themed boxes. There could be individual boxes for characters like Bellatrix, Lucius, Sirius, Syble Trelawney, and obviously Harry, Hermione, Ron, Neville, Snape, etc. It could be super cool and give more insight into characters.

The Hope Diamond resides in a museum in Washington D.C. called the Smithsonian. The Smithsonian is a collection of different museum buildings and each one has a variety of things on display. They are absolutely stunning to walk around in. I remember seeing the Hope Diamond when I was in 5th grade. Its absolutely beautiful.
