Also just because a lot of the items in this box didn't totally rock my socks, doesn't reflect on my thoughts on Peter. He's great, and you won't find a better Harry Potter Book / authentic signature expert than him, genuinely. I also admire the effort that goes into designing these boxes, it's hard work I'll never deny that.
I understand that TWT sent out an email and social posts about the pen but my comment still stands, a pen shouldn't be confusing on how it functions, and it was (which is a shame because it looked like a freakin' GRYFFINDOR SWORD!)

I got mine yesterday and was very disappointed sadly. The gloves where terrible. And paper replicas are cheap.
I suggest you contact Peter (The Potter Collector) about the pen and the missing pin. I'm sure he'll get replacements to you.
Hi Cherry, I've seen Danny's Unboxing video and he teach to unplug the sword pen by pulling out the head cap, it is hard to pull out at first time
I agree. I totally enjoy watching Peter Kenneth but I was very, very disappointed with the box.
I'm glad you were honest Cherry..I was a bit let down as well with this box, as it wasn't too cheap. Yours was the first reaction I've seen which was completely honest! But I still think Peter is awesome!!

As you probably know by now, the sword pen cap simply pulls off. No twisting is required. Well, twisting is required to replace the ink cartridge, but that little piece shouldn't have lodged itself in the cap. 🙁 The hole in the cap is actually there for safety. If a child were to be choking on the cap, the hole allows them to breathe. Whoever came up with that is a genius.
I am glad that you loved the Baoding balls! They are indeed made of metal and once you get the hang of them, they are relaxing... but they take "patience". 😉 The pass is something found in the wizard schools here. Mr. F found out about them and asked the headmaster if teachers could begin to use them. The pass has prevented a lot of unnecessary detentions since then. As we know, the caretaker doesn't trust students. The house robe greeting cards are still one of my favorite items in the box. I am glad you enjoyed them! Keep Collecting!

There is a line of perfumes already, the name of the company is lost to my mind atm lol but There are reviews here on UA-cam for them. They are supposed to smell wonderful and each scent is related to one of the 4 houses. The packaging and bottles are beautiful.

That’s what I feel too… I love Peter and his work, but this box didn’t wow me. I just purchased the next Keep Collecting box and I’m hoping for something better!!

The pen lid hole will be for child safety all good quality pen lids have holes in case they are swallowed to make sure the person who has swallowed can still breathe. Avoids airway blockage.

Valid point, but it did look like the pen was meant to appear from the end lol.
Also, usually you don't unscrew that much, in case of a swivel pen or twist cap. It makes sense to just first pull. But I get that Cherry is a bit more flustered and hasty than you or me, unboxing everything slowly at home.
I do think it's fixable, just try to screw it back on, with all its innards, and then pull the cap off when it's securely screwed on again.
I just personally feel like that pen is a great item, so I'm kinda bummed Cherry didn't get to write with it.
@@cherrywallis Maybe don't start pulling things apart if you're not sure how it works 😅 The pen is amazing! I loved it! And I like that someone gave the explanation of why there's whole on the cap.
@@zairajimenez1047 but cherry pulled it cause she thought it was a lid 😐 obviously she’s gonna pull it if she thinks it’s a lid! And if she didn’t pull it and it turned out it was a lid then people would also be complaining about how she didn’t try and open it! It was clearly confusing for her and a lot of other people when it’s just a pen it should have been way more simple!
The best part of this box is that they actually used an eagle for Ravenclaw. 🤣
This is how it's supposed to be actually. In the books the crest of Ravenclaw is an eagle. The producers changed it to a raven in the movies to avoid confusion. Just because the house is called Ravenclaw it doesn't mean that is should be represented by ravens. It was just the last name of it's founder, Rowena Ravenclaw. 🤷♀️

I felt like it was a good box and you can tell Peter put a lot of work into it. The downside is that it came on the heels of the Order and the Army Box which was arguably the best box to date.

Thanks for being honest Cherry! I live in SouthEast Asia and the box was really expensive with shipping, and I wasn't that excited while opening the box, which was a pity
I actually liked a lot of the items in the box! I thought the potion was stunning, the sword of Gryffindor pen was really cool, and I‘Ve always loved the chamber of secrets door so having a mini version is great!
I think the money bank is the only thing I liked. I figured since he was in collaboration, the items would be amazing, but, although I absolutely love Peter, it missed the mark for me
I felt the same. Every item was neither useful to me nor particularly aesthetically appealing, which is absolutely a personal preference but I am not getting the next one for sure.
I was kind of disappointed about the box. I really like Peter and his channel, and also the wizarding trunk had always such cool stuff inside their boxes, but this one wasn't that amazing what I thought it would be. Especially for this price.
Maybe for younger witches and wizards, but missed the mark for me. Thank goodness for Noble Collection items! Love the collar and pigtails 🍒!
The pen unscrews so you can change the inside when it runs out of ink. Put it back together and then just simply pull off the end and you can use it as a pen
The Special Service to the School pin was a reference, I believe, to the one mentioned in Chamber of Secrets that Tom Riddle was given. It is where Ron saw Tom Riddle's name!
I absolutely love this box. It was very thought out I believe. Idk how so many people were confused with the pen. The cap just pops off like so many other pens. 😂 The cap has a hole just like many pens with caps in case a baby or child swallowed it, there is an air hole for them to breathe. I have so many favorites with this box. I hope he does another. Well worth the price to me.

This was my first box from TWT and I love Peter’s channel, so was so excited to order this box. As I’m in Australia it was quite expensive. I was very disappointed in the box and definitely don’t think it was worth the money. I’m Gryffindor and I know one of the items they had planned for box arrived broken and they had to come up with something else ( the badge) not my favourite thing but did love the pen and had no issues with taking cap off. Wouldn’t purchase another box in the future
By the way the pin of Dumbledore is actually Peter Kenneth in his cosplay!

I truly loved this box it was amazing. I thought I wouldn't be able to use the metal pen because I'm allergic to certain metals but to my lovely surprise it doesn't hurt me.
Hope you can fix your pin. I also took it apart before figuring out the end was actually a cap with a HOLE in it! And hope you get a replacement “headmaster” pin.

I have been waiting for this video! ♥I'm a really big fan of Peter and ordered this box as soon as the sale started in autumn. When I finally got it last week..I was super disappointed and as I read your comment section and Peter's, looks like I'm not the only one. As I have seen Peter open so many subscription boxes I had such a high hopes. I was expecting more practical items. I didnt understand how the pen works either. I dont know is it "European problem" or something? :D The greeting cards were cool.. But then my The award for special services, the words werent even on the same line so really bad quality. I hated the gloves but I'm happy that you liked them! Ofc this box doesnt change my opinion about anyone or anything and I'm really proud of both of you and Peter! ♥

I wanted to mention that I also ordered a keep collecting box (I like all the items ❤️) and when I opened it, I was also a bit confused about how work the pen 😩… it was only when I checked an email The Wizardry Trunk sent with the sort of spoiler of the pen that i could see I had to actually PULL (not rotate or press anything 🙈) the tip of the sword… just wanted to let you know just in case you are able to put it back together or get another one 👍😘

I have a pair of baoding balls that I picked up years ago in the Chinese district near here. Mine have chimes in them which make noise to relax you even more.

I honestly don't understand why people were confused about how to take a cap off a pen. I got mine took it out of the package and pulled the cap off like most pens work. It really amazed me to see the amount of people who couldn't figure it out.
The fact that so many people had an issue, shows there’s a design flaw and problem. The fact they had to send an email out to everyone proves that. I tried to pull the cap off, and it didn’t come off.
I also tried to pull off the cap first, but there are a lot if opens in subscription boxes that do twist pens so i understand people being confused. The hole in the tip is also misleading since it could lead to people thinking the tip twists out of it. Not everyone is familiar with the capped pens that have a hole at the tip of the cap (which is there to allow air to pass in the event the cap accidentally gets swallowed to prevent full air obstruction)
Not all pens come with lids that just pop off by pulling, some are twisted to reveal the pen. Which I believe is what Cherry was suggesting. It wasn’t clear, it was a design flaw. If a company has to send out socials about an item before and after it’s released says a lot. That’s not on Peter though, all this feed back from us all, including Cherry, it’s just a lesson learned for next time.

To be fair, many people seem to have had a similar issue since the company had to send out emails about it, so it's clearly an error on the pen itself. And Cherry's pen was also defective, it seems, since it broke entirely when she tried to unscrew it (something it should have been fine doing since it's refillable).

Unfortunately, the box was a big flop for me. I'm only keeping the potion and the schedule. Still haven't been able to open the pen despite heavy pulling on the cap. Everything else was just "meh." Don't know what I'm supposed to do with supersized gloves. If they were actual, usable gardening gloves, now that would have been cool! The piggy bank was low quality. The pins and award didn't appeal to me design-wise. Just didn't feel this box. I know a lot of thought went into it, but this one wasn't for me. Too bad it was so expensive. Not gonna get another one.

For me it was juvenile type items. Not for adults as much. Those metal balls were a big no for me. Why didn’t they include a unique special wand??? THAT would’ve been worth the entire box.
I agree. Those gloves are terrible they were even too big for my husband. And the paper replicas are a big waste for me.

I think the lid of the pen just pulls off, not screw off. Also, the pin looks like a portrait of Dumbledore but it’s actually Peter Kenneth dressed in his Head Master (Dumbledore) costume. I highly recommend you watch Peter’s unboxing video of this box as he explains everything well (obviously).
Thank you for being fairly honest! Most people only say amazing things about collab products and to be honest in my opinion this was a big bust 😔 i hate saying that because i love his channel
I bought the box, and it was definitely a flop. Most of my items were damaged or poorly made, and it was very overpriced for what you get.
Look, I’m not here to suck up to people - even people I respect (I like Peter and his channel, and love TWT). I admire the effort that goes into making these boxes, but I’m here to always give my honest opinions and review.

Ah the boading balls (chinese stress balls) you rotate them both in one hand, my mam used to have some about 20yrs ago, interesting design!
While i do agree with Cherry that having the hole gave the impression that it would be a twist pen...just so everyone knows...if there is a hole in the end of the cap of a pen, it is most likely put there as a safety precaution against it being a choking hazard. The hole allows some air to pass in case it were to become lodged in the air passage.
That was a nice box. not perfect but some nice items! the potion, the balls, the cards...etc. the pen was a shame :/ did you check in the gloves for the missing pin? I would have love to see it! thank you for this great video!
