This box was a huge miss for me. I agree with what some others have said and the box didn’t make much sense. I felt like it was more of a runners club themed box more than a Wizarding World box. I love the idea of having a box that supports charity, but unfortunately this box just wasn’t for me.
They said it was a collaborative box, so it was a good way to help raise money for charities, as well as get Accio! Box's name out there. Even if running is not your thing they still produced high quality items that a Potterheads could enjoy. I for one, haven't found a subscription box where I've liked every item, and I think they did a good job for what they were trying to accomplish.
I would not enjoy this box myself but I think if a buyer *knew* it was running themed going in, these are pretty interesting/practical and something different from the usual just useless but cute baubles that will just sit on the shelf
I screamed when you opened the box. I’m already a member of PHRC. I’ve been doing their events for 2 years and I LOVE THEM!! The BEST online community ever and the charities are incredible. #somuchgood
Omg, I like to have captions on, so I don’t miss anything. And in the beginning when she says “ Weird, magical, online family” The captions interpreted that as “ Weird, magical, or my family” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
In the US, we call them ponytail holders, although, I'm hearing the younger generation (I'm 41) call them hair bows. But there's no bow! Also, you can log your activity to earn your medal. Go see the info video on accio's either Instagram or Facebook
A hair bubble? That’s interesting! In the US we call them ponytail holders, hair ties, and I’m sure other states may have other names but I know them as both hair ties and ponytail holders and I personally call them ponytail holders:)
hahahaha, That was amazing you looked so confused. I am a member of PHRC, its an amazing charity and has helped me to become so much more active. I enjoy watching your un-boxings. Love from Ohio, USA
I feel like this box can be a big hit or a big miss, I personally loved the idea but I can't run anymore or do much exercise because of my joint pain, but I would still have found another use for those items. The medal was a big miss but I think it was a very good idea still. PD: I also feel they should put info on their website about the box of the month. Also, their website looks a bit cheap.

I understand die purpose of this Box, but honestly if i had bought this i would be completely underwhelmed. One Item on the subject with an information about the charity and that accio donated some of the money they made would have been cool...
Why is it that when my hair is in a ponytail I look like a potato and when cherry does she looks beautiful? 😂😂🤷♀️ I love u cherry, fellow Gryffindor ❤️❤️
We're back with another magical unboxing... what did you think of the Accio box from November? Lets have a discussion below! Oh and thanks for watching, I hope you had a lovely November... I can't believe it's December tomorrow.
I appreciate and find it wonderful that this was a charity focused box. But honestly I'm not very impressed. I used to be an athlete, and most of this stuff is the same as all the tat sponsors used to basically throw at us in order to get some publicity. Again, charity is wonderful and should be encouraged, but I am not impressed. Sorry, Accio.
xein89 people in the Mid-west run all year long (which I think is crazy but I see them chugging along) but in my experience (all our exchange students from the Nordic countries) the midwesterns are a lot tougher when it comes to the cold lol
@@heididavison816 I'm from the midwest. I can agree that I've seen plenty of people who run in the cold, and even I'll walk to the store when it's freezing out.
Well, of course a lot of people still run outside, but it’s definitely not the norm when there’s 1m snow outside, iced roads and so cold it physically hurts to go outside in nothing short of pelts. You’d break your neck lol. Also, Sweden is located right along side the ocean, which also happens to make the wind - more often than not - travel towards land. Countries alongside the ocean will sharply drop in temperate at the turn of a hat and that’s what makes it especially cold. Snow in itself can be quite “warm” as it isolates - but not against the wind. That’s not to say that other countries aren’t cold - of course they are. But in regards to Nordic countries and the people and their ability to handle the cold , it depends on where exactly they live/lived. If they lived further south (right above Stockholm and downwards) then they aren’t used to a temperate that literally evaporates a cup of water before it hits the ground after throwing it up in the air. Running in weather like that is dangerous. So yeah, running gear was a miss in relation to that. Regardless, I spoke from personal experience and my opinion and it’s not a pissing contest to see who can do what when it’s cold. 🤷🏼♀️
I am from Finland and run all year round, especially in winter to help with the darkness depression 💁 But I understand it is not everyone's jam, just wanted to say running can be good for you at any temperature if you gear up properly :)
If I had bought this box, I would ask for the money back. I love you Cherry Wallis and your videos🥰, but this box makes no sense.🤨 The idea of help us to run is not bad, but the items on the box are horrible. 😥
this box is such a rip off!! no way that pin button is 5 bucks.......and that metal thing is not worth 25 bucks... Accio box is getting worst and worst may i even say worst then geek gear...
The metal thing is a reward for running a 5k, and even if it’s not “worth” $25 it’s set to that price because that $ is going to charity, which was the point of this box. Sorry you didn’t like it.
Seems like you got a box of guilt when you wanted magique! I can’t run propery because of my dodgy legs & I feel like a medal should be earned. It’s a nice idea, just misses the mark with me.
Being a runner this box is amazing! To people who aren’t runners this box might be odd. I love the Potter Running Club and their objective!! Yes Love you Cherry!
Aw bit disappointed with this box! Very niche and not very imaginative items, especially with the laces as I’ve never seen the American-star chapters...anyway love you Cherry! x
Unfortunately a total miss for me. I get the charity aspect, but none of it felt magical to me other than the item with the flying keys. It would have been better if they would have just kept the t shirt in there and not included the whole box that way.
I sadly didn't like like that box at all. I was perfectly aware of the theme of the box, and I think the charity itself comes from a right place, but the execution of the box doesn't make sense at all :/ If I buy a Harry Potter themed box, I want a connection to the magical world in it, and the idea of running/marathon is completely remote from the wizarding world and it bugs me :/ I did like two things : the flying keys hoo-rag was very cute, and the shoelaces as well (although as an non-american, they don't feel Harry Potter related to me). But the rest would be completely useless for my collection :/ Even the the tshirt, because it makes so little sense (although the idea of magical shops logos was quite nice, and would have worked well on a wizardry related activity).
Audrey, I couldn't agree more!! I get the idea/thought behind it but as my second to last box ((ruptured my achilles tendon....therefore haven't worked for several months there for can't afford the box) and it was my birthday month)) it was a bit of a let down.
when i started running again a few years ago i joined the potter head running club on facebook and also my own house that are connected. I havent been a part of any races but they are a great support to get moving and run for your house and win the cup.
Working with charities to promote positive living is a great idea. It's certainly a bit confusing at first when you get items that aren’t,t anything you'd expect, but when you realize the good you're helping contribute to it makes a lot more sense. You could put those laces on your Golden Snitch Vans!
This box is a huge miss for me. The shirt is neat but for the price to get these things to New Zealand, I would be incredibly disappointed. It's all pretty average 🤷♀️
While I like that they're working with nonprofits, I'd be SO disappointed if I got this box. I expect a Wizarding World box to have Wizarding World merch, & that's not what this was. This would've been better as a special edition box that Accio made clear was for charity & what charity they were working with.
Ngl if I got this box hoping for magical items. I would be hugely disappointed. 😅 The collab is amazing and I love the idea. I just don't think it was executed brilliantly. If I got this as my first box I would be cancelling my subscription honestly.
Wow. What a lame box. It’s one thing to include ~one~ item inspired by or sponsored by charity. But these are all like sad marathon trinkets that have nothing to do with Potter culture. Also running isn’t the only way to be active? Not terribly inclusive. Incredibly poor in my opinion.
Kinda disappointed for this box. Thats why i never buy subscribtion boxes. You get 10 things and maybe like/need 2 of them. The rest lands in trash after some years.
This box was a huge miss for me. it was the first Accio box I've ever gotten, so I was really looking forward to it. I'm not a runner, so it was pretty unpractical. I do love that it is supporting a charity, but I just wish the whole thing wasn't catered to that
Did you know that your missing an earring..... Loved the box I believe that the t-shirt is lime green because that is the colour of the robes worn by the Healers at St Mungos
I go skiing so I would’ve really liked the „hoo rag“. I also agree with you, the idea for the t-shirt is great! The rest of the items are not really my thing and that’s my general problem with the Accio Box: I prefer things that feel like they were just grabbed out of the wizarding world (such as replicas or something like the t-shirt) or really subtle designs. But those aren’t heavily featured in their boxes. It’s the reason I absolutely loved yours but don’t really like this one. On the other hand everyone has different tastes and this might be exactly what someone else is looking for!
Am I the only one who thinks Cherry looks alot like Molly Weasley? As in facial features, the red hair... Sorry if it was said before, I don't always read the comments, lol. ^^
Cherry I am Yunie Park from South Korea. It has been quite some time i ordered your christmas box and i haven't received an email that it had left the warehouse. I hope you will give me an answer as soon as you can. Thank you.
Hello Yunie. I ordered the box and didn't receive an email. So I contacted the geek gear team through the website and they let me know when my box was shipped. If you don't specify you want it tracked by the time you purchase it, you won't be able to know when it will come, but it should take 1-2 weeks. Hope this helps, I am still waiting for mine but now I know the timeframe.
Fanthropy Running Club (or Potterhead Running Club specifically) is amazing! They team up with a different charity for all 6 HP themed events every year. It’s a virtual run/walk charity fundraising club where you complete the run/walks on your own time within a month of the suggested event time. I’ve completed 5 events over the last two years and I love it!!
Ponytail holder is the American word for a hair band.' It wraps around and holds your ponytail so that you actually have one. LOL. Not a new word by any stretch.
I'm part of PHRC, and it's a really great organization. Although if Harry Potter isn't your thing (but duh, we know it is lol), they have Doctor Who, Gilmore Girls, and an overall Fandom themed running clubs (though you don't need to run to be a part of it). There are multipul races a year with metals, bibs, and shirts. It's a lot of information to try and squeeze in a comment. If you're wanting to get more into physical activity I recommend looking into it more on Facebook! You can join the Great Hall and your house common room. It's a great community, and a fun way to stay motivated 😊
It an awesome box for being for charity and the items represents and encourages going out and helping others... Cherry 🍒 why dont you play wizards unite on you walks as an encouragement i personally need a little push to go out to the gym or walking
@@lazyhomebody1356 that's a shame is there nowhere close? I saw it and had to get it the Primark near me has loads of Harry potter clothes could spend a fortune it's a nice colour it's like faded in places For the design
It really cracked me up when you were confused by the term ponytail holder. Different English-speaking countries different terms for things is fascinating to me. But every time I watch a British UA-camr and hear them say "bauble" (did I spell that right?), I have to think for a second about what they mean. I liked the headband/Who Rag, but this box was way too specific for a fandom subscription box, in my opinion.
In Australia we say scrunchie for large rouched hair ties, for thin ones it’s hair tie or hair elastic! I have never bought a sub box but if this one was an 100% mystery box I would be very very very disappointed! Maybe when they do charity themed ones they could have a option A option B, So people had a tiny clue what was inside and could choose which box would suit them better, and the charities are still supported. And what the heckin heck the button badge is $5 usd value??? The values of these boxes are super exaggerated haha.
My mom and I can't wait to open up your Christmas box. It'll be a mystery to both of us as we haven't yet watched your unboxing of it. I would love to know from you or anyone else that might know where I can get a sweatshirt like the one you're wearing. It looks comfy as hell! lol And warm. :D
The suggested prices for the items are awful. $5 for a button badge? The design of the medal was really ugly. I did like the t-shirt and laces though. Just can not get over what they're marking the prices as.
So for me, I really liked this box. I am a runner so I think it’s cool. The tshirt is my favorite item because I love the Harry Potter twist on a traditional race shirt. Least favorite is the medal and that’s ONLY because I’m not a fan of virtual races.
I don’t enjoy this box as much. It is more of a running theme than a Harry Potter theme. It didn’t make much sense either. Also are they telling me to stop reading the Harry Potter books to r-run! How dare they!!
This is what I think what they meant for the medal, there are some races that are called virtual runs. So you can start practicing now, then earn that medal when it’s your time. That’s the reason there is a Slughorn’s hourglass. That’s actually a really cool box. I hope that might be helpful.
I ordered two of these by mistake. I will be sending them back. Their customer service is top notch! Another description for pony tail holder is "scrunchy" in the USA. Lol!
I have the books by Bloomsbury with the Chapter stars so are they British or American? They are the most recent covers apart from the Anniversary House covers. Can you clarify please.
I felt the items were of much better quality than the October box however I don't think it should have been apart of the monthly boxes. I feel like this would have gone better if it was advertised as a separate specialty box for charity.
Ponytail holder is more of an american term. That or hair tie or scrunchie. I've never heard anyone in the states (at least where I am or anywhere I've traveled) refer to it as a hair bauble. Honestly here the word bauble is really rarely heard. For example we would be more likely to say christmas ornament or christmas balls. I've very rarely heard people here call them christmas baubles.
omg imagine paying for a box expecting to get magical items but instead its just a box telling you to get off your ass and run lmaoooo must fucking suck
I absolutely love this I’m boxing I normally don’t comment on videos but this box definitely is something that just motivated me to get out and get moving I live with chronic illness and I have been really depressed about my health and I think even if I just walk it I’m going to participate in some of these thank you for sharing this box and keep doing the things that you do you are awesome

@@dina019 Thank you! I will contact them straight away.
Omg I love your sweatshirt! Where did you get it?! Also are your Christmas boxes still available?!
It's from Primark I've got same one and it is so comfy
@@jessicahaggart4367 thank youu
@@lazyhomebody1356 that's a shame is there nowhere close? I saw it and had to get it the Primark near me has loads of Harry potter clothes could spend a fortune it's a nice colour it's like faded in places
For the design
@@lazyhomebody1356 they said they wouldn't put it online because nobody would go to he shop but still think they should
I’m in the US, just looked on their website and it doesn’t seem to be on it. Bummer 😩
The 1st one is called a buff. I used them when I went to Thailand. Look it up and you can use it for everything!!
I would have LOVED this box. Maybe I can find some of these items on the secondary market. 😍
Actually like the idea of this box. Very practical items (minus perhaps the button and sticker)
When are you planning to do an unboxing for the Wizarding Trunk subscription box? I love those, they has so many things.
Lol!
Can andybody explain to me what this running club is about? Sounds interesting. Is it expensive? :)
Hi.
I love this video it was amazing!!!! BTW I love you Harry Potter sweater, where did you get it?
Ponytail holder is more of an american term. That or hair tie or scrunchie. I've never heard anyone in the states (at least where I am or anywhere I've traveled) refer to it as a hair bauble. Honestly here the word bauble is really rarely heard. For example we would be more likely to say christmas ornament or christmas balls. I've very rarely heard people here call them christmas baubles.
omg imagine paying for a box expecting to get magical items but instead its just a box telling you to get off your ass and run lmaoooo must fucking suck
Quick question I was wondering where did u get your sweater from??
Can someone tell me where she got her book shelf from
Hani I think it’s just IKEA.
Put the laces into some Vans - Harry Potter skate sneakers. Keep doing what you do! Cheers!
Lol are they called hair bubbles in England? In America we call them ponytails lol 😂
Ponytail holder is an American word for hair ties. I love what you say though!
Are you ok Cherry? you seemed kind of sad and demure in this video, is everything ok off-screen?
Oh god this box is terrible. So boring 😢 Also not everyone CAN move so well..
Oh i want this box!! So are all the november ACCIO boxes like this one?
Here in America we call hair bobbles hair ties or rubber bands. But a hair bobble sounds really cute.
A mask??!
Loving your makeup for this video.
