I wasn't expecting THAT! Stevenage were the visitors to Blackpool's Bloomfield Road stadium and they were flying high! A team managed by Steve Evans is always going to be tricky as his teams are always hard to play against but WOW!
This is the best we have played so far, so comfortable, so dominant. The team looked like they are finally getting to grips with 'Critchball2' it was a joy to just sit back and relax 'stress free' in the last 10 minutes as Blackpool simply eased past high flying Stevenage and moved up to 7th.
You just get a feeling...

Brilliant video as ever Lee . The team is starting to come together nicely. I wish fans would have faith in Critch and remember it’s a marathon not a sprint . I am confident we will get a point ( at least) at Oxford . Playing like this we will definitely make the Play Offs . UTMP
Hi Duncan thanks so much and yes we know how good Critch is at steadily improving the players and the way we play from the last time he was here. We are confident that we are only going to keep getting better. Once we find the consistency we should start putting some decent runs together, it will be a tough test on Saturday, I would take a draw right now tbh 🤞🏼

Hey Lee - I am ever grateful for your first class videos- it is clear how much work you put into these quality productions. The editing is clearly where you lose all your time and money. Hopefully you can secure a patron who can fund this ‘hobby’ which is now a global service to all Pool fans - thousands of miles from the UK but sweating on every game as if we lived next to Bloomfield Road.
Yes that would be the dream 😁 maybe one day but for now I just do it for the love of Blackpool FC and for you guys that watch and keep me going with your messages, you have no idea how much it means to me

It certainly is looking more promising John. We are ahead of where we were last time under Critch so anything is possible. When we play like we did on Saturday we look better than last time under Critch. If we hadn't have dropped a few stupid points at the end (I'm thinking losing at Rochdale in particular) we would have gone up automatically so anything could yet happen if we can get some consistency going🙏

Boro Chris here, well you saved your money Chester being abandoned ha ha & i am glad you did as never seen you and Jane so upbeat for a long long time & looks like things could be coming together nicely for a promotion push. Defence is vitally important but not as important than being a goal threat at the other end. Jordan Rhodes is a Mr Dependable old fashioned no.9 doing the biz for you Lee. I like your 'dark arts' comment as he does know where to be always & has a proper strikers instinct. He is too good for league one too so keep him fit and he could get you 20+ goals. There is nothing like the anticipation watching your team when they have a genuine goal threat as you know you can afford to concede 1 or even 2 on occasion. There is no point in having a good defence if you cant score yourself as it then puts too much pressure on your back line as they then know if they concede then they have lost. When you have a goal threat it gives the whole team a boost & i hope your optimism can carry on through the winter & come March you are lined up for a final push for promotion. You put together a great video of the other lads mixed in with yours & liked Hull Boys comments the best & he took some good footage so well done him. Lets hope Boro & Blackpool can both kick on & make it an exciting end to the season come May. Who needs Chester races ha ha. Boro Chris UTB!
Yes it was sad as Sebby was devastated he has had this planned for his birthday for months and he was so looking forward to it. I have said we will do it when the weather is nicer next year.
Agree with all that you say above fingers crossed we can get ourselves up there at the end would be so nice to have a chance of getting back up this season.

I know wasn't it just brilliant and lots of fun too, it's kinda sad that most will click off before the end and miss it 😕 Eoin and Paul were simply amazing what lovely guys. The clip I wished I had have filmed was when Eoin went up to the bar and asked with his lovely Irish accent for 'tree points of Guinness' the barmaids reaction was a joy as she begged him to say that again 🤣🧡

Yes I figured it would and I know it is fantastic but man that is the longest edit I have ever done to get things all married up you wouldn't believe the work I put in if I showed you the edits in my timeline you wouldn't believe it, it took me over 12 hours to put this one together.
I would love to do more of this Alexander but I need to think long and hard as to whether I can put any more energy into this? it is already the most expensive hobby I have ever taken up in my life! the last 2 years has cost us about £20K and that doesn't include the hours and hours I put in to film and edit it all, trouble is I am addicted to editing these things for you all 🤣

We are aware but I can assure you there is a massive gulf between The Championship and League 1 and it was only down to bad management that we were relegated last season. Most of our team are Championship quality and Rhodes will be finding it easy in this team with these players playing these defences.
CJ Hamilton who was not a firm fan favourite last season although Jane and I love him is now looking like the greatest winger I have ever seen! He looks world class in this league and now even has a chant!
There is a reason why he wasn't getting any game time at Huddersfield so if he is recalled don't be surprised if he isn't as prolific as he is right now because right now it's like a walk in the park for him. It's not like we have taken a promising youngster who we've turned into a superstar. All we have done is start him in a Championship side in League 1 it's not surprising he is having a field day

We simply gave them far too much respect in the 1st half and the subs were 10 minutes too late or we would have been coming back with all 3 points. I thought Oxford were beatable I was expecting them to be so much tougher being 2nd in the league. We really don't have anything to fear in this division so far IMHO

Great video Lee, that Hull fan seemed to really enjoy himself which is good he was very complimentary of our supporters although I feel the atmosphere has been lacking at times this season. Then again I missed the game on Saturday which I’m gutted about because it looked like a fantastic game.
Not to put a downer on things but we’ve had a few games like this recently reading and Wigan spring to mind where we won and we all thought we’d turned a corner, only to follow them up with some poor results it feels like we’re only ever round the corner from another defeat or two, draws etc. but yeah I’ve been saying all season as well about being patient because we will get there no doubt.
I think we will 100% finish in the top 6, Oxford will be a real tough game though Saturday with where they are in the table. Probably take a draw there then hopefully win the following two home games cheltenham and posh
Would love to win there Edwin and I agree there have been a couple of trip ups but looking at the overall picture we are steadily improving, one could argue if Careys shot goes in against Dray we could have won it and if Critch hadn't have weakened us at Charlton we should have got all 3.
Lincoln A was horrible, the real low point so far for me but we are clearly not that team anymore 🙏🏻
@@LeeCharlesTV yeah no I agree yes I’ve seen steady improvements that started with that win against Wigan, yeah the derby game Carey’s header goes in it’s a different game I agree, but then again if the Lino gave stevenage that goal Saturday that the refs have since admitted they should’ve done and apologized to Steve evans, then that’s also a different game so all ifs and buts but that’s football and it’s why we love it. Topsy tervy is how I’d describe it 😂 but yeah we’ll be up there no doubt about it but you just know there’s an iffy result round the corner and I hope for the love of god Critch doesn’t keep fucking around with team selection. There’s 5 or 6 must start players right now when fit, in fact I’d say 8 or 9 including the whole back 3 and keeper, norburn, Dougall, Hamilton Rhodes and Kouassi yet he’ll still drop one or two of them for no logical reason 😂

I actually think that if we play to our strengths then they have to worry about us because when we are good we are very good and yes refs decisions can change the game and we already have had more incorrectly disallowed goals against us than given in our favour.
These things don't often go our way so it is nice that some ref actually gave us something in our favour for a change

It is certainly starting to bear fruits and there does seem to be a better understanding it is remarkably evident how much we have changed since the start of the season if things keep improving gosh only knows what is possible?
