Good to see you carrying on with your amazing videos after yesterday's video, you're a credit to UA-cam and Blackpool with your videos me and my partner watch them everyday for a solid year+ now, our favourite UA-camr and our favourite place!
Brilliant Vlog as usual Stephen. It was a great game great atmosphere sadly the massive police action at the end of the game managed to guide the opposing fans directly into each other exactly as they did last year oh well I guess we should be used to that now.
Really enjoyed this video Stephen being a football fan. I came up for the game on New Year's Eve 2019 when we had a 10,000 ticket allocation. This was at that time when Blackpool wanted their owner out and we were asked not to buy food etc in the ground. Met some top Blackpool fans and remember signing a petition. Keep up the good work.
Well what can you expect from a derby game where IQs fight with shoe size to see which is smaller? I listen to all my footie on the radio. It's free, it's safe and you don't get wet.
This is a typical derby battle. We all have them across the county if neighbouring sides are in the same division. We are safe at Walsall right now!! 😂
I bet if that lad who got decked by the law was sporting a "just stop oil" placard, they'ed of done sod all😂.Ta for keeping me updated on my old home town👍
It’s pathetic the heavy handed response that football fans get of the police when compared to the recent riots in Leicester or a Caribbean carnival in London ….
If you go back in history unfortunately there have been deaths two due to this venue ,and another Preston fan died about 5 years ago in the battle of Lancaster ,big pub fight 20 v 20 ,so this is why the police are on top they know given chance these two sets of supporters ,will smash each other given half to the chance and well said on the game mate ,.
Hi Stephen, I feel I have a duty to ask (on behalf of PNE followers). Did you manage to get to Deepdale today for the return fixture? Of course I completely understand if you chose to be elsewhere. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Football has the most toxic & repugnant fan base of any sport. So easily manipulated to act aggressive & defensive over what's supposed to be JUST A GAME. It is insane to me that people actually take their kids to this circus with yobs shouting & fighting. How do people lose all sense of control over a sports game? It's beyond me.
There is a designated family stand in most stadiums including at Blackpool FC Even then, all the rest of the stands are filled with everyday normal people including mums and dads with their kids. It is only a very small minority of fans who choose to act in that way It's just ramped up slightly when its your closest rival due to the incredibly long history
@@chai_ste There needs to be a designated family stand to keep them away from the vermin? Just proves my point further. Shame there isn't a designated entrance & exit to keep away from the loons either. Proportionally, they may be a minority. But that's still a LOT of yobs. You see it all the time. Crowds of hundreds, if not thousands walking the streets, costing the taxpayer endlessly for mass police patrol.

Gutsy move Stephen, riding the Star Bike through the rowdy crowds. I’d be curious how much it costs Blackpool for that many police to be on duty. Maybe a special tax on stadium beer sales would help pay the extra costs.
It is only like this when it is against Preston as it is the biggest rivalry that we have. The policing and conflict is very minimal for the rest of the games in the season.
