@@kimchi2780 Busses would be awesome but they are slow as ass and this is an uphill battle. Would need some mighty powerful busses that can also handle well.
Oh I defintiely want to see a slow but inevitable flood versus trucks on these tight, technical roads. Passing without wiping out and roadblocking everyone behind you would be a challenge in and of itself - hell, that race on the _downhill_ where the challenge is the weight you have to contend with would be interesting as well without the water.
Even though you were completely outclassed, your first run was clean AF. you were sliding, but your recovery on almost every one felt almost as if the slips and slides were intentional.
i wonder how many runs are cut from the video. maybe 10:1?
that first race with Shadow and Alex flying by wrecked cars an inch from a watery grave the entire time was amazing

Really fun to watch the finished video after the behind-the-scenes recording session they streamed. One big mystery will remain for me - how did Dangermann have two cars on the map in the first race?

This gamemode never gets old. Only thing I'd like to see is a race or two where everyone drive identical models and setup.

That battle in the first race was something straight up out of NFS The Run lol. Bloody good driving there.

Slower cars and water would increase the tension in race the flood. Like 20mph tops with the water always behind you.

They did one where they chased the flood down the hill, pretty close to that tension
Not three minutes in and Speedbeast has crashed into a tree in midair on a relatively flat road. This channel will never not live up to its name. Hope to see this with some bigger vehicles at some point and a slow flood, where not blocking the track - or indeed blocking it to retain your position - is critical. Perhaps a downhill race even without the water, dealing with tight paths and steep slopes while driving those bigger, heavier vehicles and dealing with weight, particularly top-heavy ones.
Now we need an ‘Escape the avalanche’ map for downhill racing bigger vehicles
I've found that I've started putting on your videos in my shop while working on cars and welding rather than having motortrend and whatnot playing on the TVs. only downside is, I get distracted FAR more often 😅

try a no limit power to weight ratio. it will be interesting to see what everyone comes up with.

Impega ran the whole run and easily beat the water on THREE WHEELS, from the first 3 seconds of the race.
Holy shit, thats the most impressive thing i've seen so far in this series....
I watched the live stream where this was recorded, and so knew what was going to happen, and this is still so dramatic and seat clenching.

you should try multiple rounds of the same car. would be nice to put people in different starting position maybe delay the water a little and have everyone start in the parking lot two by two

I was like „I saw this in the Race the flood LIVE stream like last week or something like that!“ when seeing the intro, looked a bit forward in the video and I was surprised. I don't remember seeing a Sunburst and a Bastion in the stream...
I really just want survive the hunt like once a week.
A downhill, escape the flood type map could be entertaining. Maybe escape the avalanche type of scenario. Just a thought.

I say you take rwd hot rods at a .75 to 1, and slow the flood so there can be some contact

He has already explained why its not possible, basically few cars can reach that power to weight and it just becomes kinda boring with everyone in especially the same car. Plus theyre not that fun to drive outside messing around with

comedy/entertainment value I give an 8/10. That might give you an idea how much I enjoy these. Granted I would score the GTA 5 material a bit higher, especially STH there is room for everything and I am a hardcore fan of it all. Great community. Great channel. They're made up.
I believe theyre BASED on IRL cars, much like what GTA does with their cars
