Mike Portnoy have recorded with A7X because their drummer died and he was a big fan of Portnoy, so I think this was natural reaction to accept A7X proposition. And this past week I got a call to play for a church of 3k and I know I'm gonna over do it most likely it's called getting into it and having fun. Hell they even are giving me a drum solo and I'm gonna do some double bass shit that's needed but. Its all In fun my friend,

First, they did not exchanged Mike for Arin. Mike came in A7X to record Nightmare, then tour with them until 201, as it was scheduled. Then, they had to find another drummer, they chosen Arin who is a great drummer ! If you disagree, go see by yourself A7X @ Rock am Ring 2012 !
