Now that everything is painted it is time to start putting it all back together. It is not as much fun as taking it apart but it is a close second! There is a lot to do for only a door, cab and bedside repair. At least the parts spread out over my house, storage garage, shop and vehicles will all be in one place again!
OUTSTANDING JOB ! You take pride in what you do. Your a hard working Master Craftsman. Your wife is a hard worker too.Enjoy watching your builds.
Thanks, the girlfriend and daughter are both hard workers but don't let them hear you. They will want a raise. lol Thanks for the support!
"Sometimes it goes in, but most of the time you gotta pull it out." Wiser words were never spoken. 13:58
Goose Gaming I play jenga on the first date so she know my pullout game strong
Brad Schuh hahahahaha dam
Funny shyt right here
The innuendo you can come up with while working on cars.... lol
And the most likes I've ever gotten on a comment lol.
One of the best, if not the best rebuilder on UA-cam. He takes pride in his work and doesn't cut any corners. I'd feel 100% confident purchasing a vehicle from him. Can't say that about the majority of rebuilders I've watched on here.
You’re the only person I would ever buy a salvage title vehicle from. You do outstanding work.
Thanks, I have quite a few customers that feel the same way. Thanks for your confidence in my work.
You make it look as easy as playing with legos. Anytime I go mechaniking the car ends up with a lower curb weight because of the bits I don't put back in. You are a master making the old new again.
I always liked Legos so I guess it makes sense. lol A lower curb weight= more power! You are improving on the design! Thanks for the support!
While watching you rebuild this truck, your attention to detail is far none the best I have seen.
First you record the process of rebuilding it, then you spend even more time to narrate how you rebuilt it nice and steady, all the while making it interesting to the viewers and not losing their interest - squirrel - see, never happened....can’t wait for the finished product! Most likely it will be better than new...
Keep up the great work...😎😎
I like to spend the extra time so that no one can tell I did anything when I am done. This week we will finish it, like it never happened. Then we will make it better after that! Thanks for the support!
Another A+ flick!! One of the BEST characteristics of your videos is they aren't dubbed full of obnoxious music! I'd much rather listen to nothing, your narration, or the hum of your impact driver. Thank you! I've never used Bauer cordless tools. They look like Milwaukees. Might have to order one the next time I'm in the market for one.
Thanks, I too like the noise of the work as fill with the narration instead of silence or music. I'm not a fan of cordless tools. I am still old school and you cannot beat air tools. The cordless are handy though. Since the Bauer are about half the price and do the same as the other brands, I figured I would give them a shot. To me, they are just as good as their competition and so far have been working with no issues. Thanks for watching.
@@vehcor Thank you so much for your feedback related to your tools!!
A family who rebuilds a truck together will stay together 😉
Great, now I am stuck with them. 😂
I remember the Fonz as well. Excellent videos and sense of humor. Say hello to Mr Spotty for me.
Outstanding job!!! I think the ones who give thumbs down are part of the UA-cam mafia that automatically gives a thumbs down for so many likes. I can't believe it would be a normal viewer unless they're just knuckleheads. 👍👍👍
Thanks, you can't please everyone. I just do what I like. Thanks for the support!
The best rebuilder on UA-cam keep them coming don't stop
Thank you for that title! I will keep them weekly for as long as I can. I like a challenge. Thanks for the support.
It's good to see you are reading and replying to comments some other auto rebuilding channels think there to big to read comments so they definitely don't reply. You do a great job, thanks for the great ideas.
Don’t fault the other guys. It is very hard to keep up. My channel is still small and I can’t get to every comment like I once did. I can imagine they are probably also tired of the trolls, not everyone finds it fun to troll them back like I do. Thanks for the support.
I like the little smiley faces to remind you of things to install. I have forgotten many little things and cursed myself later. You do fine work!
Thanks, it is nice to have someone to talk with on the long builds. 😂
Laughing out loud when you said you have to move your little helper... was just funny.
Sometimes he just stares at me. I'm like, "dude, move we have work to do!" lol
The Denali is well built, you don't see water barrier's made out of rubber on ordinary cars,
That is GM's new thing. I wish all manufacturers would go to these.
Lot of cars don’t have one at all, jsut a big metal or plastic panel the regulator is mounted to, and the whole panel unbolts as an assembly. But no holes to need a barrier.
Even if I never do this kind of work to my truck I certainly learned a LOT!
Thanks, good to hear.
I like how you have a lot of patience
Thanks!
Just got off vacation my self, good to see smiley lol. With as much dirt is on this truck it makes me think it was a work truck for like a mine or lumber company. Explains why it would have ton of extra dirt.
It was owned by a construction company that builds interstates. I need to work for a company that hands out Sierra Denalis for work trucks. lol Hope you enjoyed your vacation! Thanks for watching.
I visit all the socks I've lost over the years whenever I travel to Narnia. It's a wonderful place.
Full of 10mm sockets as well! lol
The Dirtnali is almost back to a Denali! Nice work Sir!
It will always be the Dirtnali, I will never get ALL the dirt out of it. lol
It’s taken me all day to watch this video. If you ever feel like doing charity work you can come fix my hooptie I wouldn’t stop you at all
Maybe when I retire I will travel around fixing people's hoopties. lol Thanks for watching!
Gotta give a thumbs up for a Fonz reference. I mean, it's his trademark! Yes, I'm that old, too. Ha
Ayyh...
Hate to admit that I am as well...
Maybe the Dirtnali can jump a shark?? 😂😂
Ahhh, the days when TV was worth watching. lol
Nice to see no weight lifting belt, your back must be doing better great videos
Yes, it is back to "normal". Thanks for watching!
Love this truck
Hey men you are a great professional and a good teacher I enjoy it when you are bringing all these condemned vehicles back to life you are great men
Yep, I always press the thumbs up before viewing as well. I’ve never been disappointed yet, and don’t intend to be either. Waiting for the 1,000,000 mark too.
Thanks, I'll keep doing my best to earn the thumbs up. Gotta work on the 100k first. That was the goal I set for myself at the beginning of this journey. Thanks for the support!
Great job!!!!. 👍Can you please do a video on how you keep track of all the nuts & bolts?
ro rog I was wondering the same thing he strips and cut cars apart then reassembles them like he just took the parts off and 5 minutes ago.
Yes, I will. It has been my most requested video. Thanks for watching.
Your work is incredible, NO shortcuts. I thought for sure you were gonna masking tape the wire harness onto the headliner. NOPE even in a hidden area you go for stock look. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh and now you just commented on it as I was typing , lol. If that were my truck and one day I went to sell it.... I'd brag you rebuilt it and show them this video. Hell your work is as good if not better than the factory. lol
Do it the right way, do it once! In the long run spending a little more time saves you money. So many people look at the short term these days. After years of doing things the right way, I have buyers that come to me. Everyone else is spending money to get the buyer to them. Thanks for the support!
Still love the name "Dirtnali".. classic!!! Thanks for sharing Rich..be safe and have a good weekend.
It is VERY appropriate for this truck. lol Thanks for watching and have a great rest of the week!
Attention to detail is second to none! Quality work!
Thank you!
Good morning Scott, what, no back belt support this week? You must be feeling alot better. Once again your memory astounds me. Knowing where everything goes without reference pictures just impresses me. Thanks for another great video. You take care.
The back is "normal" again..... until next time. Staying organized helps to know what goes where. This one was pure chaos though. When I hurt my back, parts went in the closest place possible and stayed there until I was ready for them. My Terrain became a two seater for a while. I was glad to have this done just to get all the parts back in the same place once again. Have a great week/weekend. Thanks for your support!
I will pay to came and help you whit you rebuilds and learning from the best is priceless you have for me one if the best rebuild channel in UA-cam
I wish I had my own shop to teach in sometimes. I think that might be fun. Thanks for the support!
Good news is you’ll have plenty of topsoil from the Dirtnalli to have a good garden this year 😀
More dirt in on the way, I am thinking of starting a farm with all of it. lol
Wouldn’t it be better to use clear silicone when you’re glueing the wires to the headliner? I just would have thought silicone would be cleaner and faster than a glue gun. Great build, nice patience, can’t wait for the final video to see how she turns out!!
It will not dry as fast. I can put the headliner back in seconds after I finish instead of waiting for the silicone to dry. Thanks for watching.
Just binged watched this build. I didn't think you would have the patience to film this much info and sharing it in a concise matter. This is not a how-to video but if you follow along you learn a lot just by paying attention. It certainly demystifies a lot of the "I wonder how that goes in there?" questions most of us have about taking a car apart and putting it back together. I look forward to finale of this great build. In the meant time, I'll catch up on the other builds.
By the way, you didn't clean the window on the right back passenger door. 😞 Now that's gonna hunt me forever!!!
Take care.
This build would be years of individual how to videos. lol I'll get back to the tutorials soon. I go over the basics in those. I never thought I would be able to do the build and record it at the same time but like anything else, with practice you can do it. I have to leave some dirt for the detail guy but I did clean the numbers off the window. Thanks for watching!
Your quality of work is above high standards. Great work can't wait to see the finish product...
Thanks, just trying to make it like it never happened! Partially finished product is coming this week!
I like the work you do so well that I would buy a truck you built. Usually I don't want a car that has had body work because most people don't do quality work, but your work looks great to me. I especially like the attention to detail regarding rust protection.
Need to make a t-shirt with your “helper “ on it.
I see the notification and I click. Enjoy watching you skillfully do what you do. Props.
Thanks!
The “Sticky” smiley face was a nice touch! As always a awesome rebuild of a dirty truck!
He is quite helpful to give the camera something to focus on quickly. He has since become my mascot. lol
Good sense of humor goes very far! You had me cracking up!
Thanks, some people appreciate it, some do not. Thanks for appreciating it!
12:45 "little bit of patients..and swearing" haha isnt that the truth haha good work as always.
Thanks for the support!
Every time I see your helper “tape face” I always think of his Uncle Kilroy, yes I’m THAT OLD🤣😂🤣😂. Great job, glad to see you got your back, back.
I had another comment on Kilroy. I had to google it. I am not that old. lol I did know about him but never knew the name. The back is back to "normal". Hopefully it lasts a while! Thanks for watching.
Haha, I'm 25 and know about Kilroy. Half raised by my great grandpa though (ww11 vet)
Props to Your Loyal Assistant ☺. Another FANTASTIC Episode of Arts & Crafts!! Till Next Time...
Tune in next week for "Quilting with Mr. Spotty". lol
Enjoyed the heck out of every video concerning this truck. I’ve got the 14 Ltz duramax. I’m ready for another video.
Good to hear! New video tomorrow! Thanks for watching.
The Greatest informative build i ever liked. simply you're the best Vehcor! I wish I am your Padawan
PATIENCE YOU MUST HAVE .......................
Thanks!
Spotty really sticks with you
I'm wondering if the truck would have more value because of this video documentation? Great job creating the content and sharing your knowledge.
These videos have helped me sell a few vehicles in the past. That was their original purpose. My channel just kind of evolved. Thanks for watching.
A genius at work...I respect you
Thanks!
Hi. Love your channel and your builds. Couldn’t help but notice the struggle with the wiring harness through the dash. I’m not an expert in autos to your degree but drawing on a cabling past best way is to tie a strong twin to the harness prior to removal. Once through the dash cut the twin off and leave in place. When you return the battle is much easier. Keep the awesome videos coming.
I use fish wires/lines when possible. On these it is not the wires that are the problem, it is the plugs at the end. You can see where they need to go but the plug end is slightly larger than the path it must go though. You have to turn it at just the right angle to slide it through and you cannot get your fingers in there to do it. It just takes a little patience, ok a lot of patience. Thanks for the support.
Excellent Video. Glad to see the back is doing better. The Fonz reference is for all Legends out there i'll guess. Hell of a job your doing on this one.
Thanks, the back is "normal" again. Thanks for the support!
@@vehcor, we both know it is never back to "normal" we just try to be more careful with it. keep up the good work.
Funny as always. Glad to know the panels just pop off. My truck had a sugary coffee spill all on the dash and console. Every time I think I’ve got it, something else pops up. Glad they’re really simple if you pay attention. Thanks
That side pocket is handy on the console but too small to clean well. With the covers off, it is very easy. Thanks for watching.
who else smashes the thumbs up before the video starts? 👍🏻
I would if I watched them. lol I might have a little bias though.
Thanks for watching!
✋🏻🌹
Me. I've seen enough of his stuff. I know I'm gonna love it!
When all said and done your going to have beautiful truck
I hope so, thanks!
Absolutely fantastic work sir! Do not mind the thumbs down, there are clearly jealous they don't have a hand built Denali HD for the fraction of the cost!
Thanks, I never pay attention to the dislikes. Thanks for the support!
I love your videos. You ar3 the best on you tube rebuilding cars & trucks that I’ve seen. Thank you
Thank you very much! Thanks for watching.
People disliking a "Dirtnali" video bc it's dirty...Haha. Another great video of your meticulous progress on the truck!
Some people just look for reasons to be unhappy. I'm just trying to help them out. lol Thanks for the support!
So I'm a fairly patient person but you've got it mastered. Great build!
Love the happy helper, great guy.
Having patience is easy when you like the work. There is a reason you don't see me doing bondo work. lol Mr. Spotty is my best employee. Thanks for watching.
You are very cool and deserve the support of your follower from Saudi Arabia👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you and best wishes from the USA!
I like that you take the time to do things right. Something as small as pulling the trim gasket out after installing a panel. I have had body work done in the past and I always find some area where they lacked in details. Props to you sir for acknowledging the smaller details in BIG projects like these.
My goal is to have a product that no one can find any flaws in when finished. Taking a few extra minutes can make a sale easier in the long run. Thanks for the support!
I can't pinpoint a specific vehicle, but I recall a couple vehicle repairs in my past that were finicky to clear codes and all it ended up needing was a couple key off cycles to completely erase them. I'm sure you know better than I do that manufacturers aren't always the best about providing that kind of accurate, thorough, and honest service information. One case I can reference to that point was an 08 Escalade where the customer brought it to us wanting to flash his new PCM. The service info was adamant that we could no longer do the 30 minute key relearn. I did the 30 minute key relearn. I hope that helps someday.
yow i swear your the best fixer that i dont know that i wish i did!! always a pleasure to watch!
I have had years of practice. You never know, our paths may cross someday. Thanks for the support!
Your the best u show everything keep up the good work thank you so much
One thing about it, you know your stuff, I would be putting labels on everything. Enjoy your videos very much.
Thanks, I used to do that but I realized I didn't need it and it was a waste of time for me. Everyone has different methods that work for them. I will share the ones I have used over the years in a tutorial. Thanks for the support.
I hope you left a smiley face on the headliner for the next guy haha. Nice work as always
WHAT! and lose my best employee? lol Thanks for watching.
Nice!It takes a pair to do all the work you've done to bring this truck back from death's door.I have two,a 96 and a 97 and love them both, super dependable and my favorite thing to do is pulled logs out of the woods with 4wd.Congrats!
Love your sense of humour that you incorporate with the build me old flower excellent work.
Gary.... England 🇬🇧
Here in the USA we are too lazy for that extra "u" in humor. lol Thanks for watching! Best wishes from the USA!
@@vehcor . Thank you for the reply believe it or not it's really is nice to get a reply from you guys on u tube. Please keep up the great builds as for English American translation's I'll think we can work it out lol. Keep the sun shining Gary.... England 🇬🇧
@@garyashdown5376 I like my small channel (not the UA-camr norm, I know). It gives me a chance to talk to people. I learn lots of things in the comments and some are just down right hilarious. Even the trolls amuse me. I dread the day when my channel is too big to reply to everyone. Thanks for the support!
The truck is looking good
Thanks, it is getting close!
Beautiful job. I am not a GM fan, but if I was gonna buy a duramax it would be a GMC Denali.
wonder how long it takes to install an interior full on the assy line???
Thanks, everyone has there preferences. Nothing wrong with that. Thanks for watching!
@@gertraba4484 about 20 minutes
I'm glad you didn't re injure your back when you tossed the door on the "PILE"
That makes two of us! lol

Mr. Spotty is my top guy. lol Thanks for watching!
Looks like you back is feeling better
Arts and crafts time, I like that and I really love the Narnia part.
I just tend to say what comes to mind. Sometimes it gets me in trouble. lol Thankfully I can at least edit the videos.
I don't know what's more impressive....your work, or your biceps! Lol!!
Thanks, I vote for the work though. lol
Coming together professionally well done....
Thanks, I try.
Organization is the key, #1
This one was not the high point of my organizational career. I had stuff everywhere. lol These was some method to my organizational mess though.
@@vehcor I'm sure your low point was far above my high point
I was waiting for the big "reveal" of the finished truck! This was a really awesome job, let alone the awesome video, commentaries, tips, do's & don't s, etc... was really an amazing job in itself! I know that the extra time & work to make the video alongside the actual work was outstanding! Thanks a million, I now have a totally different & much better appreciation for my body shop for repairing my 2004 Silverado crew cab, in trying to save it from being totaled after a tornado came thru town back in December. It received over $6,500 worth of damage & was so close to totaling it, no wonder he didn't want to change the right rear cab corner pillar, there is so much more to the skeleton behind all the "pretty stuff". You did an awesome job, what were the total man hours & repair costs, for this $70,000 truck in the end? I'm sure it was well worth it, but I can now relate to body work from a whole new perspective! THANK YOU!
You will get to see the reveal this week. I enjoy working on vehicles and the videos just add to the fun. I don't mind sharing what I have learned over my career. Hopefully, the videos help others to learn or even inspire them to try it for themselves. I will have a run down of the time and an overview in the final video as well as a proper reveal when it is actually finished. I hope your truck turned out ok. Thanks for watching.
Excellent, there will be a #9 video then? When #8 ended, it seemed that you were featuring the "pile" at that time... thank you for excellent work & details, please continue to share! It is very clear that you do, in fact enjoy your work, & are very knowledgeable with that series of truck... Awesome! Keep them coming!
@@terrymillburg7236 There will be a #9 and #10. I showed the pile because I was done adding to it. I will finish it up in #9 and fabricate an accessory. #10 will be an overview, fixing things not related to the accident, improving where the factory fell short and my thoughts on the truck after driving it for a few miles. I have to move onto another build for a minute but #10 will be out after that.
Greatest viewer response ever at 23:43. Thanks for another great video again!
Thanks for watching!
Watched... back to waiting
You always inspire me to work on my truck when watching... I went from jumpseat to console.. next I’m going to go chrome door handles and possibly sliding back glass (which doesn’t seem easy)
One more day! lol The back windows are not bad to remove unless you break you back doing it. lol I never liked the sliding ones because when you are on the expressway (where I am mostly) the air circulating in the bed brings all the dust and debris into the cab. I have found a few uses for it though in the last couple weeks and I think it is a nice option to have when you need it. Good luck with your future mods!
tell all the nice helpers Ronnie said hi and nice work bro
They say Hi! Thanks for watching!
You did a 27-point rebuild I'm talking about boat to nut nut to bolt what you needed to do and what you didn't need to do you did it and you did it like that I'm proud of you congratulations and God bless keep putting the videos out cuz I like watching them amen God bless you and God bless your family have a wonderful weekend no more put it in the pile

Another fantastic video. Thank you
Thanks and thanks for watching.
THE SHIRTS ARE INN bout to get me my two that i promise, i love the smiley face too
As requested! Thank you for your support! I had a friend of mine make the smiley for the shirts, that is what took so long. He might be the only person on the planet busier than me. lol
Enjoying these videos, great work, and attention to detail 👍
Thanks, good to hear!
Awesome job learned a lot from this build, thank you
Thanks, great to hear! We still have a little bit left this week.
As always, a great video! Love the Narnia reference. I had a 2002 Blazer with a hole in the console. Lot's of stuff disappeared...
There are many paths that lead to Narnia. lol Thanks for watching!
As elderlyiron says "tighten none before you have started all" it's a really great tip so that you dont tweak whatever it is you are doing or get bolts stuck in a hole that is now at an angle lol
Yeah, it is always the last hole that doesn't line up after you tightened the last 20 screws and have to loosen them all. lol
Another great video can’t wait to see the complete video
Thanks, the completed accident repair will be this week. Thanks for watching.
Cracking job, cant wait for the reveal
It will be here, eventually. I have to put this on hold, I have another job that need to get done ASAP. Thanks for watching!
Very inspiring - watching this awesome build has encouraged me to tackle a handful of the issues on my GMC Sierra myself. Thanks for sharing these videos with such great details. Entertaining, educational and inspiring. Keep it up! CHEERS
Good to hear. As a creator, this comment is about the best you could ever ask for. Thanks for your support! Good luck on your projects!
Great Video, wish more people would take the care that you do when putting a vehicle back together, would trust anything that you worked on as being done Right!
Thanks, I wish more people were concerned with quality over quick profits as well. Thanks for the support!
Like it never even happened! Great job, detailed explanation. Luv the channel!
Thank you for watching!
I actually do interior upholstery for a living. If you had a place near you that sells the material, you can actually redo your own headliner. Also I do seats, carpet, door panels, steering wheel covers, also dash lenses that covers the whole dash making it look new again. Also a quick tip just make sure that if you glue your wire harness back to the headliner board, just make sure that you don't use the regular hot glue sticks because over time it'll let go. I found that out the hard way when I used it on the plastic frame that went around the opening of a sunroof of the headliner board.
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.
@@vehcor you do a really damn good job for the circumstances of the condition of the vehicle. If I was in your shoes I'd be scratching my head on what the best route would be to take. I've learned alot from your channel and watching the videos. Keep up the great work.

Very similar to a conversation I had in the first hours after the truck hit the road, uh I mean dirt. Thanks for watching.
I just spotted the upload, now I want to rush home watch it on a TV,. Vechor and Bad Obsession are TV only content, don’t want to miss the detail squinting at a phone screen.

Well I was suppose to mow the lawn and then saw you posted a video...well the sun is out until almost 9PM here. Looks like one more video and on to the next wreck!
Now I know where the dislikes come from! It is the spouses of all the people watching my video instead of doing the chores. lol One more video until the repair is complete but one more after that when I improve on it. I will have to move onto the next wreck in between though. Thanks for watching. I hope you got the the lawn mowed before dark.
GOOD JOB MAN I have watch guys trying to put HEADLINER with the WINDSHIELD on and the back window its a struggle
