Bella doing Bella things. She always gets quite tense and excited indoors. I feel the only way to overcome it, is doing it more. Good idea to keep moving round and not just keeping to the outside track.
Agree @sarahcooper3378! Bella cannot keep avoiding the pole work, it is a foundation for other things to come, and it will be too easy for her to get into the habit of doing so on other things, including trail riding. More poles and schoolwork is in order!

I wonder if people fully understand this vid. Bella is at this stage in extraordinarily patient training (a million thank yous) trying to protect her rider & also quite possibly the orange thing on the ground. I played it at lower speed and broke it down. There's one OMG the predatory orange thing. But the rest shows her protective instincts that only a patient rider can bring out at this stage of training. Thank you for encouraging actively but not forcing (another million thank yous). Walk on!
Ohhh I know she was a little bit naughty but she is magnificent in her wilfulness. Absolutely so very beautiful, even if it was difficult at times when you watched your video you must have thought she was STUNNING even yourself. And she tries to do things she’s good at that you like just not what you want. 😊. Her bounce is a dance…it’s all in her ancestry, she would captivate the bulls with that fancy footwork if she was in the bullring instead of the school ring.

There is always something new to learn while going to school and this can sometimes be difficult for Bella ♥️
Bella proves again she has a strong stubborn streak but your patience & persistence will pay off. I sure wish she enjoyed school as much as the trail!
