Okay....I am coming clean. This is my 4th time watching this video. I wish there was a "like" , "really like", and a "really, really like" button to click on. 😊
Thank you for saving this fella, I came across your channel by way of animal rescue feeds. Your narratives are so engaging, even for the farthest iota of a horse person. I am a lifelong NYC resident--I have gone on a trail ride in Montauk once as a teenager, and have 3 cats, but I love your passion, knowledge and tireless stewardship of these splendid creatures, even the worst horse is gorgeous and incredible to me. To imagine any of them going to a slaughter house is terrifically heartbreaking.
He may have been a nice breeding stallion. He’s smart, decently behaved, and seems to be Arabian. Could be wrong about breed, but that’s my guess. Arabians are quick and fairly adaptable horses.

I cannot tell you how much your channel means to me. I can be having a not so good day, put on your videos and feel better. Between your soothing voice and seeing the love you give just makes my heart feel better. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us.
CC you are good medicine for your horses. And, now that this phone is replaced, good medicine for many of us riders and horse men and women who have special attachments to our equestrian days that are revived by viewing your channel. Bravo! Cowgirl, keep on going. The road you walk is all for the good of the horses. 🎉❤
I love Studman. I had & showed for 30 yrs. I rode English saddle & did Eventing. I'm now 74 & live in a group home. But my horse days was the best days of my life. (Besides having a child). Totally really enjoy your videos 😊

Don't need to know about horses to see the instant improvement. And when he started running and looking like a handsome, healthy, happy guy - touched my heart. Thank you.
You are one gutsy woman! I have nothing but respect for someone who would have the courage to buy such horses, along with the confidence to learn as you go as you begin the rehab process. You are way more than just clever, cowgirl! You are a force! I've watched quite a few of your videos, and I am humbled by your positive outlook in the face of such challenges. I told you that The Clever Cowgirl is definitely what she is!! She seen this horse needed a home 🏠🏡 and she bought this one and now, look at the transformation!! What a difference an auction makes!!
While doing animal rescue I found out that many people think a free or cheap animal "isn't worth" spending money on, as though it's an investment instead of a living creature with feelings. You go above and beyond for these guys and it's just wonderful! You're also very brave to do that hoof trimming that way on an unknown stallion! He's quite a beauty!

I really like what you are doing and how you approach these guys. You are giving them value that will protect them in the future. My own horse was sold to slaughter. He is alive and happy today thanks to someone like you! Thank you for what you do.
My first horse, a young mustang I adopted, trained and rode, went to slaughter when I thought I was doing the right thing for him to sell him to a woman whose little girl adored him. Took me many years to get over. Love to watch this channel.
You are a gift to horses who have been abused and discarded!! I have nothing but respect and love for everything you have done and continue to do for these beautiful creatures. What a gift you are to all of girls who love horses and don't have the means, time, resources or education to get or help them. Your videos give me hope and are educational for all who watch. You could see how gorgeous he was even at the pens. I know you call him stud man, but I would call him Coppertone. He looks, at least in the videos, as though he is copper colored. Now that you have worked your magic on him, he truly is gorgeous. ❤
Not silly at all. In all the listening to you explain about these horses and the different shapes they’ve come to you in, and your attention to the smallest detail about the health of each, I trust your judgement thoroughly. I believe your knowledge, experience, and instinct (and what the horses tell you) is what you need to decide in exactly how to rehab these guys. Just great to watch and learn about for me!
Studman has my vote because ------just because. I really appreciate how much you educate yourself about anything that relates to your horses and their care. You make yourself ready for all the situations and problems you might come across with the purchase of "mystery horses" as you find them. Too many people are lazy about knowledge. To do the best care for our horses we must stay up to date on the latest available info from vet schools world wide as well as new farrier info. No horse can live well without the best feet they can have. You do such a great job reclaiming horses because you do all the study necessary. I wish I could buy one of your "recovered" horses but no such luck for me. But I can enjoy your videos and wish the best for you and all your horses. And not just thru the Holidays, but all year.
I don't ride(poor hips)but like to be near and just talking to horses. Met my friend's two donkeys last summer, and just hung out with their sweet faces. Love was returned. I also fall for the eyes. She has a sweet herd.
I wish more people would take time like 18 months on something like that because like you say you’re not working with just physical trauma you’re working with mental trauma too. Those horses hold what’s happened to them. Bless you.
Studman! He seems more ready than Skeletor for some reason. ❤ I enjoy your videos and love how you treat your horses. Watching them play and knowing that's important to you warms my heart.
The hooves are so important. My farrier got hurt and couldnt do feets of my shire horse. So she went for 6 weeks instead of 4. Next day after the trim, she moved a lot more around, calmer, happier to follow. I found 4 weeks to be worth it in her case and I check them twice a week at least. Good feet good horse
I'm loving ur channel,iv been around horses since I was 6 and I'm now 44 iv only had 5 yrs out from having a horse I am learning alot from watching ur videos, unfortunately I lost my rescued horse 2 months ago he was starved and torched,i was told he wudnt pull throu but he did i had him for 7 yrs it took him 18months when he finaly started to trust me ,he broken my heart when I had to let him go due to health probs,he never went with out whilst been with me and he found love and trust again in people and bonded with me he was my beautiful rescue horse and he,will always hold a,special place in my heart, you do an amazing job with all ur horse xxxxxxxxx
I just found your channel and subscribed. You're so kind with the horses, the world needs more wonderful people like you! Looking forward to watching your old videos and new ones.
He has a chance at a decent life now because of you, thank you for that
I wish more people would take time like 18 months on something like that because like you say you’re not working with just physical trauma you’re working with mental trauma too. Those horses hold what’s happened to them. Bless you.
💟Beautiful Skeletor 💟
Stud man looks so happy!
Love this story. Studman is great guy ❤❤❤
Few people who acquire a horse understand the commitment to a minimum of 4 hours per day, EVERY day.
Studman! He seems more ready than Skeletor for some reason. ❤ I enjoy your videos and love how you treat your horses. Watching them play and knowing that's important to you warms my heart.
Thank you!
Studman - he will make a great kids horse one day .

I'm sorry. You get so involved with your animals they become a part of your family unit and then lose them. How sad.

I somehow missed this video but I'm glad I found it because watching studman's hooves go from yuck to fantastic is just so amazing.

I just found your channel and subscribed. You're so kind with the horses, the world needs more wonderful people like you! Looking forward to watching your old videos and new ones. It must be so rewarding to experience the incredible transformations of these so neglected beautiful souls, to see them blossom under all your care and love. I love watching the transformations. Thank you for your loving kindness 😊❤️😊
I have just come across your videos, too. I'm so impressed & I admire what you do & how you do it. I look forward to finding past videos & also future ones.
That's the cool thing with horses. No matter how they behave they can always be turned around by someone kind enough to give it time.
