First I want to say Tracy I really enjoy your teachings, especially your teachings on prayer during Shutdown. Causing me to become more aware of God's presence and the need to listen more to what to pray for.
I understand about the need not to be lead by our emotions. But as an African-American I need to say that when the color of my skin is seen as a weapon, especially in the case of recent events it hard not to get emotional. I don't agree at all with political views of BLACK LIVES MATTER. But for a while Black lives had not mattered. And seeing that white policeman choking the life of a Black man with his knee, who was handcuffed, face down on the ground and looked very happy about what he was doing. It said Wow we (Black people) still don't matter.
I'm 66 and the recent events caused me to remember the 1960's. I was just a kid then. Even though there was a lot bad things happening during that time there was a lot of positive things that happened. For me personally it was during the 60's I was born again, baptized in the Holy Spirit and baptized in water. My family and attended a multi-racial Pentecostal Church.
It would take too long to say all i want to say here. But when wounds are as deep as they are in the African-American Race as I said earlier its hard not to get emotional.
Again I want to say I enjoy your messages.
    Blessings and Shalom
    Cynthia (Cyndi)❤😀❤

What you are describing is complaining emotion, not emotionalism. We can catch an emotionalist in churches by asking them a simple question: Does God love everyone? An emotionalist thinks with their emotions. They will say they feel that God loves everyone. The Bible is matter of fact and says God detests men who dresses in woman's clothing, for example. That's emotionalism!! When you try to mind-read God with your emotions rather than accepting the harsh, blunt truth that God said in the Bible.

He can detest the behavior and love the person. Everyone has behavior that’s displeasing at times.
