My daughter is heavily into the occult and has been for almost 10 years, the worst thing is she and her husband have not had their daughter, ( my grandchild ), Baptised. She is 11 now, I haven't seen my grandchild in almost 6 years, she stayed with me every weekend until my daughter stopped coming to my home, almost 6 years ago. I pray for them all daily and not a day passes, where I don't cry for my Grandaughter, I miss and worry about her so much. 🙏😥😢🙏

This false teacher is claiming at 36:00 or thereabouts that being filled with the Holy Spirit and having manifestations of charismatic gifts is from an evil spirit. This is a lie from Hell. He's basically calling the Holy Spirit the evil spirit. He's not even trying to make any distinctions, which clearly demonstrates just how irrational he is on this topic. He's just demonizing whole groups of people. He's demonizing Pentecostals and charismatics across the board. It is true that Protestants have bad theology - that's why they're Protestants - but to claim that Pentecostals are, as a group, involved with the occult is pure nonsense. And he doesn't seem to know that sometimes you do get demons manifesting when the Holy Spirit is present in a powerful way. So what? It is understood even that this can happen. Read the New Testament. Demons manifested in front of Jesus and the Apostles. This doesn't negate their healing ministry, nor does it negate the pouring out of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost and subsequently. The pouring out of the Spirit is part of the New Covenant.

@Henry Stoneking Henry, you're going too far in the opposite direction here. Neither Testament condemns the moderate intake of alcohol, and drinking coffee is certainly not a sin. The Catholic religion is not a puritanical religion but it is against smoking marijuana and the use of other street drugs, but priests never preach against it.

This is my first video I truly watched from this channel. I will say that I was a bit surprised to see David doing this presentation. Truth be told David and I attend the same Latin mass parish, and I still remember my first impressions of David. We were at a tradfest party of a friends, and David decided to play basketball with the teens. It was quite fun to see Competition between David and the teens.
I for once fell for this heresy. I was seeking for the emotional high so I jumped to different churches, but my hungry heart was still starving for God. I even turned atheist since I didn’t feel God anymore.

SORRY TO tell you but Mother Teresa did not believe in Roman Catholic Church. She said any religion is okay. Check out websites about this - there are many. She was a great humanitarian, but not a great Roman Catholic. She believed all religions were the same, and any religion would get you to heaven. This is not what Our Lord believed... The Masons put their ‘man' on the throne in the person of John XXIII. Ever since then, it’s been losing ground, so many thousands left the religious orders, thousands of priests left and few (very few) ‘Catholics’ go to Mass, which isnt’ even the True Mass, the Tridentine Latin Mass. please see any video by Fr. @@marydolan587 Hi Mary, just to clarify and let others see the real difference between the Roman Catholic Church and the Vatican II Conciliar Church, the False Church, (the Whore of Babylon which is occupying and desecrating the True Catholic Church! "Rome has lost the faith, and become the seat of Antichrist!” - 1848, Our Lady of LaSallette) Here is an excerpt from “Mother Teresa: The Case for the Cause” Author Mark Zima believes her ‘dark night’ was rather a state of hopelessness because she did not push for peoples’ conversion to the One True Faith, rather she aquiesced and as such, denied Christ, the Way, the Truth and the Light.
“...Before her community was approved, in her letters, Mother Teresa declares, "There are millions who live in Indian cities and villages in ignorance of God and of Christ, in abominable sinfulness. We shall bring them to Christ and Christ to them" (Mother Teresa: Come Be My Light, p. 116). But when her community was approved, she taught, "I convert you to be a better Hindu, a better Catholic, Muslim, Jain, or Buddhist" (Mother Teresa: The Case for The Cause, p. 4). There are some who argue that she did not mean what she said and she wanted to convert those she met. There is some truth to their claim. Nevertheless, her words are misleading to the hearer and the reader..."

A PRAYER FOR THE DYING AND A SPECIAL SOUL
O MOST MERCIFUL JESUS, lover of souls,
I beseech Thee, by the agony of Thy most Sacred Heart,
and by the sorrows of Thine Immaculate Mother,
wash clean in the Thy Blood the sinners of the whole world
who are to die this day.
Remember most especially the soul I spiritually adopt
with the intention of entrusting him or her to Thy Shepherd's care:
I beseech Thee for the grace to move this sinner, who is in
danger of going to Hell, to repent. I ask this because of my
      trust in Thy great mercy.
If it should please Thy Majesty to send me a suffering this day
in exchange for the grace I ask for this soul, then, it, too,
shall please me very much, and I thank Thee, Most Sweet Jesus,
Shepherd and Lover of Souls; I thank Thee for this
opportunity to give mercy in thanksgiving for all the mercies
      Thou hast shown me. Amen.
Heart of Jesus, once in agony, have mercy on the dying.

I’ve had an emotional experience, although I received a sense of peace, I also received a deadly fear of sin making go to confession frequently (weekly), getting a spiritual director, Mass as often as I can, and a unquenchable thirst for any Sacred writings (St.Teresa of Avila, Ven.Mary of Agreda, St. John of the Cross). It has made me work like I have never worked before. Nothing I do can ever ascend me anywhere near the heights, I am completely dependent on Jesus’s Devine Mercy and the protection of my Mother’s mantle. I am completely helpless without them, and if I sin, completely vulnerable. Anyone can commit mortal sin up to the very last second.

@@GameChanger597 Steubenville is in REALITY a hotbed of charismatic HERESY. It was allowed in the institutional Church in the 1960's by the heretical destroyer of liturgy: Paul VI. All of the charismatic "leaders" are salesmen: they make their living selling vainglory and self-promotion: Scott Hahn, Inc., Matt Fradd, Ralph Martin et al. Before Vatican II, no layman would be allowed to preach their heresy in PUBLIC. If a cleric did this, he would be defrocked. Not one Charismatic huckster can prove that his babble, his word of knowledge comes from the world , the flesh, the devil or the Holy Ghost. True Catholicism does NOT TOLERATE Protestant heresy. If you want to "like and subscribe" to their cults of personality, you are free to do so. However, you will be held to account for whom you choose to believe. I suggest you listen to Fr. Isaac Relyea and Fr. Michael Rodriquez on this charismatic fraud.

@@MillionthUsername Nothing wrong with Steubenville. I went many years ago and it was great because it wasn't a stuffy mass service in Latin where you couldn't understand anything or a solemn mass were you couldn't relate to God. There was emotion there but that wasn't the focus. Emotion is part of being a believer in God and when God speaks to you or you can feel His presence and His love, you get emotional. No need to apologize for it, be afraid of it, or excuse it away as though it were meaningless. God gave us our emotions and there's nothing wrong with them. As long as we don't put our emotions above God and idolise them, then it's really not an issue. This seems more like a bashing of other Christians then an actual teaching on God.

At 21:43 he stated tha Jacinta would not pray the rosary properly. Sorry, but that was Francisco. He saw the Virgin but never heard Her. When Lucia and Jacinta asked if they were going to Heaven, Mary said yes. Then they asked if Francisco was going to Heaven and Mary said yes, but he has to say many rosaries.
He was the one not praying the rosary properly. Sorry, but I had to say this to clarify that what we do has an impact. He would not pray the entire Hail Mary, so he never heard the Virgin.
Pray your rosaries daily with devotion. Stay close to Mary, even if you don't feel Her close, She is there and so is Jesus.

Thank you for your comment. In her First Memoir (p. 27), Sister Lucy recalls the habit that she and her cousins had devised to economize their time: “We had been told to say the Rosary after our lunch, but as the whole day seemed too short for our play, we worked out a fine way of getting through it quickly. We simply passed the beads through our fingers, saying nothing but ‘Hail Mary, Hail Mary, Hail Mary, ...’ At the end of each mystery, we paused awhile, then simply said: ‘Our Father,’ and so in the twinkling of an eye, as they say, we had our Rosary finished!”
All three prayed their noon Rosary in this way. As to whose idea it was originally, Frère Michel (Vol. I, p. 56) says it was Francisco's suggestion, but Father de Marchi (The True Story of Fatima p. 11) attributes it to Jacinta.

I have an honest question. I am a Protestant thinking about converting. In the story of Jonah there are several men on the boat who were not Jewish who sacrificed and made vows to the Lord. It appears that they were saved as a result of this activity. This seems to contradict the connection between the Church and salvation. Jethro not being culturally or religiously Jewish while being a priest of Yahweh is also another problem for me. How would you respond to this issue?

And they took Jonas, and cast him into the sea, and the sea ceased from raging. And the men feared the Lord exceedingly, and sacrificed victims to the Lord, and made vows."
We would agree that the implication of this passage is that these men came into the way of salvation in the course of this event. As Msgr. Joseph Fenton explains In his book, "The Catholic Church and Salvation," the Mosaic Law included civil, ceremonial, and moral precepts, imposed by God on His chosen people in order that, as St. Thomas says, they "might receive a prerogative of holiness, in reverence for Christ Who was to be born of that people." The totality of these laws, then, was binding only upon those for whom they were enacted. Since the Gentiles could also obtain salvation more perfectly and securely through a complete observance of the Law, they could be admitted to the ranks of the chosen people; but it would have been sufficient for any Gentiles who so chose, to live with divine faith in the coming Messiah and according to only those elements of the moral precepts which belong to the natural law, without joining themselves to this society.
Regarding Moses' father-in-law Jethro, "the priest of Madian" (Ex. 2: 16), the Haydock biblical commentary notes: "In Hebrew, the word 'cohen' means also a prince, as the Challoner translation has it. When put in this manner, with the name of a place, it is generally taken in this sense. But formerly kings were also priests. Jethro served the true God, like Job, in the midst of a perverse generation, and offered sacrifice to Him when he joined the camp of the Israelites." Father Haydock adds in a gloss on Ex. 18: 1, that both offices, prince and priest, were performed by the heads of families in the law of nature.
God bless you and speed your entry into the Catholic Church!

@John Citizen Regarding ignorance of the true Faith, we must remember that "Without faith it is impossible to please God." (Heb. 11: 6) Such ignorance must be dispelled so that through explicit assent to the essential Christian doctrines as revealed truths, by a faith enlivened by charity, these persons may be brought into the state of sanctifying grace and put on the way of salvation. And regarding Our Lord's descent into hell, note that this place, called the Limbo of the Fathers, is not the same as Purgatory.

@John Citizen As Fr. Karl Clemens explains, "The Soul of Christ descended into the Limbo of the Fathers - which as a place of exclusion from Heaven, was rightly designated as part of the domain of Hell - not only in His power, but also really and substantially, as the Holy Church expressly teaches.
By the Limbo of the Fathers we understand that place in which dwelt the souls of the holy Patriarchs and Prophets and all those Just Ones who had lived before the coming of Christ, and here awaited in blessed hope their Redemption. These holy souls suffered no pains whatsoever in this place; only they could not as yet be made partakers of heavenly glory because entrance into Heaven was still barred to the human race on account of Original Sin. Jesus Christ must first open Heaven to mankind by His bloody death upon the Cross. Our Redeemer descended into this abode of the saintly forefathers, announced to them the glad tidings of the completed work of Redemption, and made them happy with that inexpressible joy and happiness which consists in the vision of God. Among these holy souls was also the soul of the Penitent Thief. Jesus had said to him: 'This day thou shalt be with Me in Paradise.' By these words our divine Savior had meant neither the earthly Paradise, nor yet Heaven; but He meant Limbo, turned into a Paradise through the enjoyment of the vision of God, from which on the day of Christ’s Ascension all these saintly souls went forth to enter gloriously with Him the true, actual, real Heaven with unspeakable rejoicing."

There are numerous sources for this. The most direct one would be Luther's own writings, though those are not always the easiest to come by. Interesting how he describes emotionalism as rampant among (at least some) protestants, in particular the Pentecostals and other, more "charismatic" types. I wasn't raised Catholic and had a female camp counselor who definitely followed her own very kooky form of Christianity at a "Christian" camp that I went to as a kid one time. I think I was nine at the time. Although protestant, the whole camp wasn't like this, thank God, and I don't think any single one of the other camp counselors were either during this one week. But somehow this woman had been allowed in and uber-Christian as she supposedly was, she was crazy with a side of almost some rather cult-like notions. Every morning she'd wake us all up with her singing in our cabin and had a surprisingly nice singing voice. But there was a GREAT deal of volatility, uncertainty and unpredictability that went along with having to be around her every day. You never knew when it would or wouldn't be OK to make even a *slightly* negative comment about anything because SHE "knew JESUS" and "JESUS" only wanted her and all the little girls at camp singing and saying NICE things - or at least nice things in "JESUS" name - because if they didn't, that could mean that they did NOT "KNOW JESUS" - except that, of course, if you weren't quite on board with how it might be OK for that to momentarily change on some other term or condition from time to time "in JESUS name", you could get just as dark, disapproving, and "stormy" a look and just as sharp a reprimand for that "in JESUS name" as you could for not being as upbeat and appreciative at other times. And it could be over something as slight as making the "wrong" kind of comment over a wrinkle accidentally left when making your bed or even just wrinkling your nose at the fact that we might get rain rather than sunshine at camp one day. It was good that even though this counselor was our main counselor in our cabin, our contact with her was also sometimes very limited during the day because trying to stay on board with which of even the simplest of everyday "ups and downs" "JESUS" would not be "hurt", "angry" or otherwise "OFFENDED" with was way too scary, jerky, and wild a ride. Oh, and as I also remember, though, she could also sometimes be a fan of "expressing" the "UNCONDITIONAL LOVE" of JESUS by not shaving her legs and/or not wearing deodorant. And seriously WOE to anyone who couldn't get in sync with whether her "JESUS" would be agreeable to OR "OFFENDED" by any little expression of dislike or distaste from anyone else over that - EXCEPT of course for if and when in about another 1-3 days later, that could also sometimes change and showering, shaving, and wearing deodorant would all sometimes be perfectly fine again "in JESUS name" and would most likely start first thing in the morning, in which case then all the "good morning" singing would start coming from the bathroom instead of from over by her bed. I believe that long-haired, dark-haired, aggressively "Jesus"-loving camp counselor was mentally ill - but whether that actually preceded or resulted from her particularly chosen religion I may very well never know. It also may have been both.

Considering the topic of this video, there is evidence that the heresy of emotionalism is present at Medjugorjie, as well as sexual scandal, disobedience to the local bishop, and monetary gain that the “seers” have received. A prominent, and respectable Catholic investigative journalist, Dr. E Michael Jones, exposes the horrible truth behind Medjugorjie. Undoubtedly many good Catholics are swept into this madness and corrupting euphoria. St. John of the Cross once said that “the devil is pleased when people seek private revelations.”

alexandre Abboud You can FEEL many good feelings and emotions, witness conversions based on any reason and yet this does not validate an approval of an apparition. We are commanded to honor the authority of the church that Christ instituted. Our Lady of Lourdes, Fatima, and Guadalupe received the bishop’s determination that they are “worthy of belief.” Medjugorjie has not and that ends the discussion on its validity from the perspective of laymen. We are not to devote ourselves to unapproved alleged apparitions, not matter how convincing or how much effort and money has been invested. Medjugorjie has made millions and has distracted many from combatting the evils of abortion, sodomy, and usury.

Protestants do not demand emotional outbursts for proof of salvation but they do not rebuke such passion either. When feeling the love or calling of God people react differently. It is good to have emotions when involving the touch of God. How many have shed tears when praying to Jesus (God). I feel the Catholic Church emphasizes the Church above God many times. The speaker talks of the Pentecostal movement like it is evil but it is not. If you read ACTs it states that when the Holy Spirit descended on the people , the people outside heard these people acting as if they were in a wild party and they thought these people were drunk. THey were not. In reality the spirit of man cannot hardly stand the touch of the Holy Spirit without experiencing exceeding happiness. The speaker is wrong about a lot of things. He claims there is no salvation outside of the Catholic church which is a lie. Although God approves of churches he does not depend on a church to save people. People are saved through belief in Jesus.

darpat peace be with you brother in Christ.. if only Belief or faith in Christ can only save you, then there is a problem to that.. Abraham, the Father of Faith, has been justified through his work and NOT ONLY through his faith. One needs to do something to translate that faith to life (James 2:24). That is the problem with Sola Fide. Speaking of the Church, if you really experience and witness Christ in you, you will go back to the Church, similarly when the two disciples met the resurrected Christ in the road to Emmaus, when Mary Magdalene met Him in the Tomb, all of them went back to Jerusalem (representing Church where his disciples and other believers reside) to proclaim God (1 Tim 3:15 the Church is the foundation and pillar of Truth). God did not establish the Catholic Church for no reason. He institutionalized the sacraments and a holy office to shepherd the flocks through the power of the Holy Spirit. God gave authority to His apostles (with St. Peter holding the key to the gates of heaven) to do what Jesus wants them to do. He did not give that authority to all of us that is why there is the Church to guide us in our journey towards God through sacraments and sacred traditions and scriptures (infallible definitions not personal interpretation). I hope this brings light to you brother. God bless

You're right at least about him demonizing Pentecostals and charismatics here. That is absolutely absurd. He does not seem to bother making logical distinctions, which is how reason actually works, so he is producing some very irrational claims. This technique he uses of just creating a label like "emotionalism" and then throwing whole groups of people into it without any regard for the truth, is just how leftists and other irrational people operate. You always have to be careful with rhetoric because it's very easy for rhetoric to supersede logic when there is passion involved. He's actually demonstrating the kind of "emotionalism" he claims to be against here. He's just outright claiming that any charismatic/pentecostal experience is somehow "emotionalism" and that it is caused, not by the Holy Spirit, but by an evil spirit. This sort of blather is in no way in sync with Catholic teaching. He's showing that he has an axe to grind, that he has an underlying agenda of demonizing people and in particular anyone who has had the experience of being filled with the Holy Spirit and having other manifestations. This makes zero sense in light of the New Testament, age-old Catholic teaching, the lives of the saints, and present day experience.
The idea that emotions can or should be stripped away from a human being or one's experience and knowledge of God is heresy in itself. How do people like this explain the uncountable testimonies in the NT and in Christian history of being filled with joy and having other supernatural experiences, being overcome, being in ecstasy, etc? They seem to want to intellectualize everything, which means that they are going to another extreme - the opposite of what they claim is "emotionalism." The idea of having and expressing emotion is distinct from the idea of being driven or controlled by emotion. Two different things. This should be simple logic, but in this case it isn't. After giving a teaching on how emotion and intellect and will should work, he abandons emotion entirely, puts it in a box, labels it "emotionalism," and then puts people he doesn't like - and much of the New Testament and Catholic teaching along with it - into said box, and throws it out with the trash. He also then claims that all experiences of God touching a person are somehow unreal, fake, or demonic if they don't match his view of emotionless experience. I'll bet even the word "experience" is not acceptable. I'm pretty sure he trashed that as well.
