This looks very similar to one marketed by Seicane, and another by Carpuride. I have heard positives about those 2 brands also, but this one from Seventour looks to have a better placed front camera and it looks a little higher quality. I do wish there was an easier way to hide cables in cars that this is suitable for, The wide screen design is pretty good for carplay/android auto use. It seems to just work with that format.
I think these type of units are a good alternative to a full replacement of your head unit, but don't make the mistake I made. Make sure you actually have a place on your dash it can install that doesn't obscure other OEM displays or your vision of the road. Some cars just don't have the room the the dash for something like this

How does the dashcam work? does it constantly record to a buffer? Any auto save functions if g-forces are detected?
The only apprehension I have about these units sticking up on the dash is that it really make a juicy target for theives.
Whats the sound quality like playing music through aux or bluetooth compared to CD directly on factory unit ?

I don't suppose you can do a video on rear view camera mirrors. I hate the strap around mounted ones, but i can never find one that clicks into the windscreen mount.

You might want to look into one that replaces your rear view mirror. When in reverse or activated, the mirror shows the camera output, and otherwise behaves as a normal rearview mirror.
How do you flip the rear camera. Its views opposite sides of the car.
I have a smaller version from China for £30. However it doesn’t have AUX so I have to connect via FM but the sound is poor. Is the quality better through the aux ?
I never see you testing the microphone pick up and other functionality that may limit these plug and play Android adders. I have tried these but the phone functionality is not great.
I own a 95 Honda Legend and I tried the cigarette lighter, Bluetooth. Had continual feedback through the speakers.
they will all do this you need a ground loop isolator
I can't get my iphone to connect to the wifi so the screen mirroring won't work. I've followed the directions to a T. I've reset the device and tried redoing everything. The wifi pops up and acts like it will connect but it just has a loading indicator spinning and never get the checkmark showing it's connected. Does anyone have any fixes for this? Thanks!

These portable ones is very convenient, but I wonder about the sound quality. Have you tested the handsfree calling and general sound quality? I bought the Adankin. Looks exactly the same. It has no mic in, so it has just the mic on the device. Very poor hadsfree, and sound. Even sound from music is affecred. The self generated noice of the device is annoying.
Please when you test devices, both din and portable, please test the sound too 😊
