Ok like i'm a massive wombats fan i went to see them at hordern less than 2 weeks ago and i love kate bush but this just falls falt like they took away all the energy that made the song so powerful

his name is Dan Haggis and he's a multi-instrumentalist. Check out his solo stuff he has released as Dan The Man, three solo albums with angelic vocals such as this. He and Tord also have a side project called Sunship Balloon which is more psych/dreamy alt rock. Highly recommended!

I can't stop returning here, these guys touched my heart. This smooth dreamy folk sound, amazing solo vocals, fantastic back vocals... potentially The Wombats are great ballad singers! Would be awesome to listen to more of their covers, ballads specifically. Absolutely adore this cover💘💯👏💐

he’s like “they played running up that hill, that song is so OLD,” and then he was telling us all to check out the album. he was so baffled but so happy it was making a resurgence
