Magic! I love Princess Louisa in winter, but last July 01 - 03 the sheer number and volume of waterfalls was awe inspiring. We literally watched Chatterbox grow in the heat of the day.
Amazing, simply amazing. One day, I wish, I wish, I wish. I am so great full for you guys producing such excellent videos, makes my 73 year old heart melt. Xxxxxx
I love these last couple of episodes. You guys are getting some fantastic drone footage. I particularly liked the long shot showing the wide v-shaped stern wake. What a beautiful area.
What I love about your content is how passionate you are about your beautiful lifestyle and the deep sense of spirituality that you communicate....watching your videos is almost a form of meditation and allows me to dream of a fuller life....can't wait to see what you get up to next😊
Greetings Freedom and crew from Southern Ireland. I've been watching with envy your various passages over the past two years and love everyone of them. Do you ever see yourselves leaving North America and Canada and setting out across the Atlantic to Europe , stopping off at our marvellous cruising grounds around Ireland The Emerald Isle? Good night and fair weather cruising from one of your most avid fans. ❤ Jimmy
Many years ago I stayed at Malibu Club at the entrance to Princess Louisa a few times and once hiked in the mountains above Chatterbox Falls. It's just an incredibly beautiful place. When the tides are going in and out, it creates really big standing waves in that narrow passage, and seals like to body surf and play on those waves. When the current is really strong as the tide is changing, it looks almost like white water rapids - nothing goes through. You have to wait for slack tide. As you're cruising along Princess Louisa toward Chatterbox Falls, there are some huge cliffs on your port side that give a really strong echo if you shout toward them at the right place. I'd love to go back there again someday. It's amazing.
Elizabeth , your voice is perfect for narrating ! You are so easy to listen to , part of the reason I watch you two ! Shawn and you are a great adventurous couple !
WOW! Amazing scenery. It is like having a personal tour of land not seen by many. Thank you for taking the time to do such a professional job on these videos.
Perfect video, a good mix of what to expect on the BC coast. Good choice of jazzy music and that drone shot at 11:40 takes the #1 prize. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to the next video. 😊👍🇨🇦
Possibly my favorite video ever; thank you! A little story: As a teenager, I cruised PL Inlet with my family. The next year I spent a wonderful week at Malibu camp. Then; the following year I climbed with a group to the summit of a nearby mountain (Frederick William). Yes; "brought tears". 🥲❣
NICE. WHAT WAS THE DEPTH OF THE RAPIDS WHEN YOU WENT THROUGH? NICE DRONE WORK AND SCENERY IS FANTASTIC. THE CREATOR DOES IMMACULATE WORK FOR US ALL, AND THANKS FOR SHARING.
It’s a shame you didn’t go into Smuggler cove marine park. Right around the corner in welcome pass. We take our 55 Offshore in there with no problem. One of our favourites !
That was cool. You got some great shots, one of my favorites is the smooth water shot of Freedom and the wake for a mile+ behind, that is cool . Enjoy and Thanks!
Finding that proverbial 'parking space' just about anywhere is invariably a pain in the tusche! It is so comfortable 😌 'to vacation' with you from my recliner! Elizabeth your production is first class, too!
A note on Gibsons for next time - Gibsons Marina is mostly permanent moorage. Harbour Authority is the best choice for transients. The have protected docks on the inside as well. Thanks for taking us along!
How crazy was it for me to see the Young Life Camp I went to 46 years ago at the end of your video!! The Malibu Club!! Made me take a trip down memory lane.
Wow truly spectacular video! The drone footage is amazing and your timing/luck with weather and tides is incredible ❤❤❤. So cool that no one is around either!
Nick, Jessy and Relic from "the Beachcombers" need to step up their game and hogtie those loose logs! Beachcomber was a TV series filmed in and around Gibsons you can still visit Molly's Reach restaurant for a meal. It was a focul point in the series
Love the BC videos. I know these waters well and spent many years working and playing there. No matter how good the video quality is it just can’t do justice to the amazing beauty of these waters. It is great that so many can, through your video, have a really good look and get a good idea of all that is there. If you have the means and the time I can highly recommend all of the inside passage. 😁
Used to live in Port Moody, right next to Indian Arm, sailed up the arm many times, now I live in Gibsons, my boat, Coriolis ( Catalina 30) is in the Harbour here. Great video. When we sail to Vancouver we get a space where you were, Quayside Marina. Gibsons Harbour authority always has some raft ups. Hollywood Celebs used to transit Malibu Rapids, including John Wayne, on Wild Goose.
My brother in law, ventured to Garden Bay Via Malaspina, many times and two hazards stood out. Log booms under tow - with wood waste and knowing tides. Entering Garden bay was always a challenge in a head sea - also using a high tide to go inside the marker buoys. Low tide always added considerable trip time. Love it guys!!
I miss BC so much. Chatterbox Falls was my next place to visit then they closed the border and I went home to San Francisco and now live vicariously through your videos. Did you like Buccaneer Bay? It looks beautiful. Thanks for your videos! P.S. The amount of logs was crazy!!
Thanks for sharing. Born in BC. Always heard about Princess Louisa Inlet but don't own a boat. The snow in winter makes it extra special. So lucky that you got sunny weather.
I am a plumber I spent 12 years back and forth working in that youth camp doing new and Reno no all of building there the most beautiful place to get away from everything and work
Beautiful spot on the west coast of BC for sure. Unfortunately yes you have to be aware about travelling on the water in around certain areas due to log debris from the logging industry. Looking forward to your next video.
What an incredible video, so beautiful and the drone work never ceases to amaze me. I can't wait to see more new videos. Love your program and promote it all the time.
Beautiful video Capt.Elizabeth ... where do you find such cool vibing music to accompany the scenery .. So relaxing every Friday I look forward to your great videos..thank you so much.
Awsome video! Thank you! I could see the constant cold of winter getting a bit old, but how can you beat this! Maybe spend a month in Palm Springs, or San Diego, but you can't beat the Pacific NW.
Wow guys. You continue to bring back great memories of places I've visited many years ago. Was there on a 28' WestSail in 76. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful trip to this stunning area. ♥
We spent many years cruising the coast before we sold our 4788 and enjoyed many trips to Princess Louisa Inlet. Thank you for reminding me how special it is. Happy cruising. Cheers. Mark
I can’t get over how well edited your videos are both audio and video! Someone has mad skills! Thank you.

WOW! What beauty! And that drone footage at 17:15!!!
I totally agree! I had to watch it a couple of times, and showed my husband. Spectacular!
Brave boaters to take this on in the middle of winter and our local storms. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
You certainly put some faith in the drone shots so far away from the boat 🚢 The views are epic though
Nicely done. Thanks so much for sharing. So enjoyable! Some day!
I love these last couple of episodes. You guys are getting some fantastic drone footage. I particularly liked the long shot showing the wide v-shaped stern wake. What a beautiful area.
Air travel has people focused on the destination, your trip shows why focusing on the journey is a worthwhile viewpoint.
Thanks for taking us along on your travels, scenery is absolutely stunning
That might be the most spectacular scenery yet. Right on point when picking the weather window. Pretty much perfect.
The drone shots are getting really good, nice work. Glad to see you’re enjoying Canada.
Fantastic filming-you are so fortunate to being able to live the trawler life.
Off the beaten track so to speak. Wonderful.

Fantastic camera work. Easy going sensible commentary. Its a pleasure to watch your videos.

I really liked the part where Shawn was calling into the marina trying to find moorage. The actual operation of Freedom is interesting.
Surprised as you were to find there was no space in winter? Almost Gibson's take 2.
Wow. So beautiful. Thanks for letting us see this.
Love the commentary & history you add with the videos.
Wow thank you for sharing your trip.

What a magical cruising ground to explore
NICE. WHAT WAS THE DEPTH OF THE RAPIDS WHEN YOU WENT THROUGH? NICE DRONE WORK AND SCENERY IS FANTASTIC. THE CREATOR DOES IMMACULATE WORK FOR US ALL, AND THANKS FOR SHARING.
It was about 25’ deep at high tide when we went through the rapids.
Superb views , great video thanks
Wow that was incredibly stunning! I hope you were able to get out and explore a bit on foot too. Thank you for sharing
Unbelievable scenery!!!
It’s a shame you didn’t go into Smuggler cove marine park. Right around the corner in welcome pass. We take our 55 Offshore in there with no problem. One of our favourites !
Wow! So beautiful!
18:03 So make sure you have over 2300 ft of anchor chain, got it, thanks.
That was cool. You got some great shots, one of my favorites is the smooth water shot of Freedom and the wake for a mile+ behind, that is cool . Enjoy and Thanks!

very nice!! Awesome destination. Take care.
What a fantastic senery you're sailing in.
Amazing, thank you!! Keep it coming I am living vicariously and enjoying.
Up in my territory eh. Cool. It's a powerful place up there.
If that’s your territory you’re darn lucky!!!
How crazy was it for me to see the Young Life Camp I went to 46 years ago at the end of your video!! The Malibu Club!! Made me take a trip down memory lane.
Fantastic episode! What a special place and we look forward to the next installment.....keep up the great work.

Fun fact. Molly's Reach was only a set & an empty background during the show. It was only later that it became a restaurant for the tourists.
Another great video! Thanks for sharing.
Really nice music selection to go along with the majestic visuals. ASMR level.
Outstanding. So jealous!
Wow, you really lucked out with the weather. Something to be said for winter boating!

Great video, more episodes like this please.
Breathtaking!!!
I noticed your Filson hat. Great gear. There is a nice Filson shop in Gastown if you haven't seen it yet. Next door to the Old Spaghetti Factory.
Such a well done video. One of your best.
Beautiful scenery
Beautiful spot on the west coast of BC for sure.
Unfortunately yes you have to be aware about travelling on the water in around certain areas due to log debris from the logging industry.
Looking forward to your next video.
Worst year that I can remember.

Hi from Mukwonago Wisconsin. Out standing,
Hello 👋 fellow Sconnie 😉
Awsome video! Thank you! I could see the constant cold of winter getting a bit old, but how can you beat this! Maybe spend a month in Palm Springs, or San Diego, but you can't beat the Pacific NW.
How awesome
Great video
Inspiring.
. You may want to listen to a conversation with Tony Fleming. And it was in passage maker magazines. I found it to be very very interesting.
Incredible drone shots!
Wow guys. You continue to bring back great memories of places I've visited many years ago. Was there on a 28' WestSail in 76. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful trip to this stunning area. ♥
Awesome video guys, I can just stay here in Wisconsin and watch, thank you 😊
20:28 Incredible!
Beautiful video especially entertaining and extremely well done. Can’t wait for more.
that was incredible
Beautiful ❤️👍
Insanely beautiful , so jealous I want to cry 😢 Thanks for sharing!
Talk about epic video shots! The clouds painting the mountains at 17:20 are stunning scenes! Well done and thanks for sharing!!!
Beautiful scenery. Thanks.
We spent many years cruising the coast before we sold our 4788 and enjoyed many trips to Princess Louisa Inlet. Thank you for reminding me how special it is. Happy cruising. Cheers. Mark
Somewhere down there is the B.C. Ferry Queen of the North which sank in 1800 feet of water in 2006
Not even close to here. She sank at Gil island about 80nm south of Prince Rupert
That sinking occurred much more north on the BC coast than where they are now.
So far my favorite video. What a gorgeous place. The drone shots help appreciate the majestic scenery
Awesome Vessel! The coastline is the most beautiful thing. Dont fear nature, respect it.
Great videos, hat's off to the editor, very professional work
Best video so far-so we’ll produced. Love all the drone footage too. You two have knocked it out of the park with this episode!
Thanks for the reminder of the great boating we have locally. I've shared this with my wife in hopes of inspiring a winter cruise...
