My issue is after turning on I will see the TCL logo for a second then it turns off, but the tv is on, just no backlight.

My backlight is blown.
Under the section where it says failed component on the power board.
My IT Guy said its the backlight is blown, no one fixes them, no TLC parts and its too big a job to be worth doing.
If this helps any one then thats why i left this comment.
You can tell because using glancing light you can see the screens reflections but its completely black otherwise.
Underneath the screen works fine but without the light from behind its a dead tv which is an engineered fail point in my oppinion.
Dont move or jolt your tv while it on or still hot from operation.
The globes are fragile like halogen globes.
This just happened to my sons tv. So toss it in the garbage?
Note for anyone seeing this - these do have a warranty, and you can get a refund if it's within warranty. I don't think I've ever used a warranty in my life, but was able to send info to TCL and they are refunding my purchase. Unfortunately none of these tips worked for me, but great video regardless!
The left half of my 43" TCL TV went dim. Not sure which problem this is but I suspect it's something with the led back lighting going bad. TV is 3 or 4 years old.
