Im stuck at step 1 because my tv is flickering off and on. So i cant get into menu or settings. Its turning off and on maybe im on the wrong video.

Hi. I have this issue but only when watching live terrestrial TV, not any of the other apps such as Netflix, iplayer etc. TV is running the latest software.

Half of my screen (right hand side) is darker but not totally black. This is a samsung curved screen. Any suggestions on what it could be? I have reset the whole TV already so i suspect that it might be a hardware issue. And what would be the estimated cost of parts and repairs in the UK?

Unfortunately main board failure so I paid 228 on a black Friday sale for my 65" onn ,it's lasted a whopping 2 years. Out the door and now I have to go get another TV and kill myself getting it inside. I'm 75 and alone but take it slow and I will live to watch another TV.

I literally had a TCL Roku TV for 7 months and it failed. First time I've had a tv fail.

None of this worked for me. Suspiciously, the jump-glitching occured the day after my warrenty expired. I think this is because TCL is probably using thin wafers or wires that they know will degrade within a years time after purchase.

Can someone tell me how I open the housing to even access the boards? I don't want to break it but it doesn't work even though I removed all screws from the back panel and even those on the bottom. It's flimsy plastic.

i have both. Vertical and horizontal.i had vertical and replaced t con board. now have both . Any suggestions on what might fix it? I. person. I got Tecon board from. said if I have horizontal lines, it can't be fixed. My ribbon strip looks a little. messed up too.

Hello Sir, my issue is that after i turn on the tv, the Vizio emblem turns into a block of random colors, and the tv will keep cycling itself on and off again. It can take 45mins to get my tv functioning normally. It’s a 65” tv, so moving it around is not practical. Have you ever heard of this, or do you know what this problem sounds like?

My TV does not find any WiFi networks when searching. This is too irritating.

Tried #1 and 2,5 also. Yet still not working. 😢 I also tried entering our wifi SSID and password many times. Still, it says wifi is not connected.

Thanks a lot!! I was almost gonna give up, but i finally checked the wifi module by opening the TV and it was loose...no idea how. i reconnected it and now everything ia back to normal :)

I was able to diagnose and order a power board for my 2-year old TCL, which was showing a black screen, but I could hear sound and see a faint picture when putting a light to the screen. After a very easy installation of the power board, my TV now works, and I'm so glad to be able to fix it myself and not have to get a new TV / contribute to e-waste.

My TV won't come on. It comes on it shows some kind of like manufacturing information but it blinks also quickly I can't see what it is. So my TV comes on but he blinks right back off 😢

I have almost in the middle of the screen about 12 thin visible multicolored horizontal lines. What can cause it? Is it something different than advice given here in this video?

This video was 9 minutes too long. None of it held. Just walk over to your TV when the light is blinking red just hold it right at the bottom of the TV not even an inch away and it should work. It took a day and a half. But I got that son of a gun!!!

I've just had a similar problem with the remote turning the TV off/on once, but try to do it again and it wouldn't unless I pulled the power cable from the socket and plugged it back in again. I thought it was the remote, but it wasn't. The fix was in the settings. Make sure you go in to settings and look for a CEC turn turn both off. CEC apparently is for a universal controller to control multiple devices connected to the TV. Thr only thing connected was the Playstation 5. Since turning this setting off. Everything works as it should. Hope this helps.
