I just picked up this model at my local Costco this week and stumbled upon your video. It was very helpful and made installation a breeze. Really appreciate your concise instructions and clear video angles of each part. I did noticed the part where the brackets for the side shelves was installed incorrectly on this video. On the instruction manual, the bracket goes on the outside of the side shelves, which gives better support strength. Other than that, great video!
Great catch! I just assembled mine and the you're spot on as the bracket is in the inside of the side shelf! 🤟
This video was beyond helpful! I am a 60+ female and after watching the video prior to purchase, I knew I could assemble the grill. It took me about 3 hours, but I did it by myself. I can't thank you enough for the video as it is step by step with close up pictures.

Excellent video and descriptions. Closeups were very clear and the entire video was easy to follow. The Weber instructions that only had pictures was not easy to understand and follow at all.
Fantastic video! My wife and I recently purchased the E335 on sale at Costco. Used a combination of the assembly manual and the BILT app to help, but when we got to the attachment of the hose to the side burner, they were of no help. Fortunately, we quickly found your video and the segment where you attached it. That took care of it for us, and then we were on our way to the finish line! Decided to watch the entire video, which had great step by step instructions.

This video was excellent. The instructions that come with the unit are just fine, but it's great having a reassuring look at just how to do it right and the commentary on when something seems off but is OK (like those fasteners that just sit under the back cabinet wall). What really did it for me was telling me where the hardware was. I was about to spend 30 min on the phone with Costco asking for another set.
Awesome video I got this from Costco today and notice that it looked like it could been opened before. I didn’t bother just took it and when I got home to assemble it. Took everything out and missing was all my instructions. Your video saved the day and me having to return the item. Good looking out !!

Hi, I just purchased this same model. I’m waiting for it to come in. Your video is very helpful and gives me the utmost confidence to put it together by myself. Very helpful video!! Thank you!! One thing you may have heard by now is the side brackets are supposed to go on the outside of the side shelf, and they act as sort of a washer for the nuts. Unless you fixed this by now, your grill will have small gaps in-between the side shelves and the main unit.

after way more hours of research i went with the G2 335 from costco. came down to the E335 and S435 but I oped for this one. appreciate the video nice to get an idea of how to put it together while I wait for shipment. I have a weber charcoal grill but this will be much easier to get going especially when I just want something quick for meal prep

If it’s a small one like the ones on the side of the grill hood cover, it’s likely just a spare.

The little gray door hinge pieces can easily get lost in unpacking or after they are installed and the doors are popped off. This happened to me. When the replacement kit came mine also have the hardware for the door handle, not to be confused as parts related to the little gray piece that fits on its own.

At 11:26 mark, you have those brackets installed incorrectly. These go after you hang the shelf not before.

Yes, at 18:25 it shows the Two small Cotter pins going onto the grill cover. One on each side. If you have a 3rd small cotter pin it must be a spare

I could be wrong but I think those flavorIzer bars are supposed to face the other way. The half moon cut out on them is for you to be able to see the flame and also maybe light the flame through here if your ignitor isn't working. Great video though!
The holes are cut on opposite ends, so it will be in the same place no matter which way you put them in. I do use them for checking the flame 🔥

You can get a Weber grill at Ace hardware and have it assembled and delivered to your house at no charge if it’s over $399
Yes, most hardware stores offer assembly, but this model is also now at Costco as the new version is out now.

Can you use this as a drop in if you don’t use the frame?
It should work depending on the setup you have. All the gas lines are attached to the burner box and don’t necessarily need the frame
I bought this at Costco with the side burner. I cannot find the blue and white wire to plug into the module?? Any advise?? Genesis II E-335 LP
It should be somewhere on the wire harness. It may be wrapped in plastic wrap and hidden on the harness, but mistakes can happen.
Have you noticed rust in the outside of the cookbox? I see black spots wonder if its rust or it wasn’t well coated at the factory.
I haven’t had any rust. I am in the desert though, so it’s not as common
Once assembled, does it fit through a standard door? Or is it best to assemble outside where it will reside?

@@dannyjohnsonsgarage I ended up assembling it indoors except the lid and cover for the knobs. It was raining and I really wanted it done. Plus, if it wasn't raining, it's way too hot.
Anyway, I managed to slide it out the patio door with no issue, more clearance than expected.

WAIT !!! bag G side mount brackets make the shelves stick out more. the instructions show putting them on the INSIDE of the shelf, otherwise you will have a gap space.
Yeah, I added that to the video description. I assembled another grill and the did brackets how they should. It seems to work both fine, better support with the brackets where they are intended

It’s exposed on the side for the 335 model, but some have it inside the cabinet. It depends on the model

Very good video, but he did make one bad mistake starting at 11:06. Do not put the plates on first, they go on after the side burner and left self, right before the nuts go on.
