- 1977 14 Foot Deep V Lund with a 1978 Evinrude 25 horse short shaft. This is just a test fort top Speed with my daughter and a cooler. I am almost 300lbs. My Guess is it could go 24 with less weight. The motor has a brand new impeller. It topped out a 22 Mph according to GPS on my phone. 2 stoke.
It's similar to my 14 foot, 1969 Proline (with title) with an electric start 25hp, 1969 Evinrude outboard. Your trailer looks just like mine. New LED lights and marine wiring, rollers work great and two new tires with a spare. Mine isn't painted though and I like it that way. I used to live on the coast and carpet in a boat was a no-no. So, I removed the carpeted seat tops and replaced them with solid yellow pine, with two coats of spar urethane on tops and bottoms. Here in Texas sitting a metal boat seat in the summer is the same as sitting in a frying pan on high heat. I also added two swivel seat bases and bought two very nice folding seats like yours.
Thats a great little boat! That is exactly what i will be looking for when i buy. Thanks for the video.
I love it. Perfect little fishing boat.
I have the same boat put a 2023 25 hp honda on it and it Flys! Almost to much motor also have a 3 thrust min on it awell but the Honda idles so low I can troll salmon and trout without broblems. Love this thing!
I SEEN THIS TIPE OF BOAT TO DAY!!!!!
Love the boat setup! Gave me some ideas to improve mine!
Back when I was poor as a kid that was the shizzz of walley boats.I will buy it from you for the right prices.
ok.. i Know this is common sense but TBH i never thought about throwing towels down on the boat seats.. i imagine it helps keep them cool in the sun! here in florida a even the wood seats on my inflatable bris kaboat get warm during the summer and the fiberglass bay boat is even worse. your boat is booking it dude @22 mph. very cool, economical way to get on the water. Thanks for the tip man.
Plus the towels won't blow out.
My dad has a 16ft lund with a 25 evinrude and that thing hauls ass, was called a super twin I believe.
Lol. Nice.
Thats moving for that 14ft boat.. I have a 15 horse on my 14ft boat and its only goes 13-15 mph. I want to upgrade my motor. Nice Boat
I'd love to see what it does with a 35. Same weight. Maybe 30? That's the max the boat allows
@@BigIslandMNMinnetonka I never checked my max HP.. I like to get a 4 stroke Honda or Yamaha I'm thinking.. They want a arm and Leg for these MotorS.
@@Garyjorges79 I want a Honda too. They are so quite. Plus the power trim is nove
buy mini tug boat 21 moh 15 hp outbard
You need to adjust the trim tab
The green and red is on the wrong sides
How much did this setup cost you?
I'd rather not say. Sorry
@@BigIslandMNMinnetonka no worries man thanks for taking the time to make your content!
Only reason I don't want to say is I plan on sharing this link when I sell it.
I bought a 14' Lund with a 1980 25 hp Johnson electric start outboard on a tilt trailer for $400. It doesn't have the front deck or carpet on the bench seats. Mine will do 25 mph with 2 people, big cooler of beer, batteries, and gear.
Nice boat! My son just got a 40hp short shaft tiller for his boat (2 stroke).. can’t wait for a top speed run.. I have a 18’ lund project boat I fixed up this summer. It’s got a 50hp suzuki four stroke tiller on it.. check it out on my channel if you feel like it.. (Supertrucker207).. enjoy your new boat!
I'll check it out
