Nice but how do you cook anything? Needs at least a 2 burner stovetop. Ditch the coffee maker for an oven. At least if this wants to be anything more than an AirBnB.
I would really like to see a factory tour. During a factory tour, I would be interested to hear how the manufacturer has anticipated climate considerations, moisture consideration inside the home, air quality inside the home, condensation on the bottom of the home, etc. I noticed that rain gutters are lacking on the home. Would gutters be recommended? I'm from the North West and water feels like a huge consideration here.
I like the secret entrance to the bathroom. I totally understand how frightened you must have been when you walked in the first time to see some strange guy in there. 😏😜
You make all your money back jammin people in for Airbnb bookings 😁 Plus it also powers the other small cottage and sells excess electric back to the grid.
For people who are truly interested in living off grid, the ability to grow, prepare and store food is an essential part of daily life. Smart homes like this with tech features are cool. But there are things that may be important design features that aren’t present which could better benefit someone living off grid long term, especially at that $300k price point.
TOTALLY OFF THE GRID, EH!? WHERE IS THE BATTERY BACKUP FOR SOLAR PANELS? WHAT TYPE OF FOUNDATION IS REQUIRED? IS THAT METAL FRAMING OR WOOD OR WHAT? WHAT IS THE EXTERIOR SIDING AND ROOFING? THANKS KERRY FOR ALWAYS FINDING SUCH WONDERFUL ALTERNATIVE LIVING UNITS! LOVE KERRY'S HIGH LEVEL OF ENTHUSIASM!!! DON'T ALL OF YOU?
My question is: what about the plumbing? Waste water and sewage? Water source? Otherwise, very nice upscale-y features in a tiny package for those who seek quality over quantity. Good transferable ideas, though, to incorporate into larger footprint designs.
It looks like a hi-tech greenhouse. @13:32, there are no downsides to having the laundry facility in the bathroom. The shower room has a surprising amount of storage for such a small space. I feel that both versions are too expensive, but there are people who won't baulk at the price.
These places always look good when placed on a stunning piece of property like this one. I’m going to need some mature oak trees and vineyards. Privacy hardly seems like an issue here.
Definitely needs a stovetop for sure. I also noticed the glass table in the living room gets in the way of the projector screen, so you'd have to move the table and chairs out of the way to avoid any obstructions. Apart from those two things, this is a pretty awesome home!
You've already burned through $200k just for the home without any other costs like property, transport and land development. Might as well build a stick home on site.
@@Sangreaalstube not “starting from”, BUT two models with FIXED prices, $199k and $299k, ant that includes all furniture, home appliances, electronics etc.
Thank you for yet another eye opener. The M1 Pro as shown is approx. U$ 750. per Sq. Ft. There's simply not enough features and benefits to this dwelling to justify this cost. Am I missing something here?
I’ve built bigger for less. Idk if what I’ve done was as efficient, but it ran completely off grid, and looked as good as this. Of course I’m a tradesman. I can also do passable trim work. Point: I feel like this could be done for 1/2 the money.
Really cool park model. But unless you are well to do financially. Hmm, it does give me ideas, though, since it looks like the only way I'm going to get an off grid home is to build it myself.
This little home is perfection. 2 questions: 1) If it doesn't require anything except a piece of property to set it on, what about water and sewage? Does it have grey and black water tanks like an RV? 2) The high tech off grid features are the best part of the home, IMO. BUT, the price!!! Is there a brochure with a breakdown of the features including cost to replace the solar panels if damaged? Not sure how the justify 200k and 300k for 400 sq.ft. no matter how cool it is.
Pretty cool. I don't personally care about the "smart home" features and I have a hard time buying the claim @3:07 "can run all systems, including heating and AC, water boiler and home appliances using only solar energy and batteries in any weather 24/7". Put one in Phoenix where they can go over 100 days in a row of 100+ degree weather. AC is running 24/7 there, this can do that for 3 months straight? How about the mountains of Colorado in winter with weeks of overcast reducing the solar intake. It can provide adequate heat throughout winter?
These things are really nice, honestly they are. But the goal of housing people seems secondary with these types of structures because they are so expensive. They seem more for people who already have a ton of money to blow on something in their already large yard or for folks that own some property somewhere and want their own little nest somewhere. At $199,000 (to START), there's alternatives for less that offer much more space, and amenities. So basically, I'm wondering why I watched this video...LOL...
Starting at 15:40 it looks like there is condensation between two panes of glass? Is that in fact what I am seeing? Perfect B&B. For real life living, I guess I would add sheds on the property. A "walk-in shed" for real clothes storage. 😄A catch-all shed (or two) for stuff.
The magic lights & built in Ikea stuff is nice but, really it's all just jimcrackery at a premium. Hay, maybe that's just what folks want these days....
Once the novelty wears off, and it will within a day or two, do you really want to live in a glass house? You'll need an extensive - and expensive - solar setup and batteries to support the draw of this unit. Heat/AC/hot water, the refrigerator, and appliances like the coffeemaker are power hogs, and renters of a B&B won't be prudent. It also would not meet some building code requirements, including insulation and wind resistance. The flashy features could be incorporated into a more substantial building if they're what attracts you.
4:30 I'm not liking the uneven gaps between the ceiling and the filler panels on the end wall. It makes it look like it's poorly made. Double front doors? Why?
The science fiction homes of the future are here! Sadly, they're financial fiction 😂 I was just being clever with words; this is way out off my price range, but I'm not complaining, as it's fine for some folks.
Correction to someone's pricing statement. The M One Pro by House Me, shown is $299k, standard one (not shown except in a pic, is $199). Really nice, minus a functional kitchen and closet space, lil steep but no foundation needed is a savings.
299k, yikes! I will never buy any prefab home made in California, too expensive! I do have a deposit on the Ood House glass cabins, those look better and are cheaper, IMO.
I love it except the kitchen. No burners to cook with and the fridge is a bit small. I wonder if there is a way around that because other than that it's absolutely perfect. I'd love to move off grid yesterday with all the nonsense going on in Canada and the world right now. lol
Do they make a model that doesn’t have the bunk? I would imagine now everyone wants someone sharing a room with them for purposes other than hotel/bnb.
Hey Boss, what about the; what looks like a sliding white floor to ceiling panel, in the bathroom.? Is it actually a roll up door to another alternate universe? I’m curious, was it just window dressing? Thank you for the tour. Oh, & what about the toilet, does it go to a septic tank or to city sewage? Keep up the good work! Go Trump!
Septic or city sewer depends on the property you will place it on and the local building requirements for that property. A standard toilet like this home has can connect to either.
Mother passed away over 7 months ago and father is almost 90. Father will leave my brother and I two homes, one which is valued over a million dollars. The other one is more than half a million and paid for and it’s a rental. The million dollar one is a 2-story home in a nice neighborhood but I hate suburbia and would love something like the home in the video. The problem is land. We can purchase two homes like this after selling our more expensive one and perhaps land to place them. But depending on the location, the land might be more than the homes. Still studying my options.
You go 16 minutes, wasting our time, to say the BASIC is $200k? What planet are you on? If this were $75k, that would seem reasonable. The fact that you think $200k is ok means your values have been so skewed that your opinions cannot be trusted. Jeez, I've watched over 100 of your vids and I am so disappointed I can hardly believe it. Get your values straight Kerry!
Nice but how do you cook anything? Needs at least a 2 burner stovetop. Ditch the coffee maker for an oven. At least if this wants to be anything more than an AirBnB.
Air fryer oven and an instant pot would make a complete kitchen.
Good to hear about more manufacturers in California!
And the cooking comment cracked me up😂
$500-$600 a sq ft is twice too much Kerry, especially for something that looks like Tupperware made it.
ahhhh first! this one looks awesome, the off-grid features are especially interesting. Thanks again Kerry
My pleasure! Thanks for watching

All you need is to have it on a piece of property that has its own water well and you could be totally off-grid. 👍
Very cool to hear that it comes with all the furniture.
One more thing you don't have to worry about. 👍
Totally cool! This looks like it was an amazing trip for you. Absolutely an amazing trip for us! Thanks for taking us along.
I like the secret entrance to the bathroom.
I totally understand how frightened you must have been when you walked in the first time to see some strange guy in there. 😏😜
Very thorough, expert review. Love it. Can't afford it, for the size, sadly; or I'd order two!
I almost had a jammer when you told me the price of the M1 Pro.
You make all your money back jammin people in for Airbnb bookings 😁 Plus it also powers the other small cottage and sells excess electric back to the grid.
Oh my gosh, you are like way too funny, Kerry!!!
I do like this mini home. Is certainly loaded with goodies too. Keep up the great work!!! 🤗

At 15:40 is a card about the mOne that says “No Foundation Required”
My question is: what about the plumbing? Waste water and sewage? Water source? Otherwise, very nice upscale-y features in a tiny package for those who seek quality over quantity. Good transferable ideas, though, to incorporate into larger footprint designs.

Hey bud, you always light up my day. Fun place too.
Very nice setup love this home sound high quality materials used and high on price
These places always look good when placed on a stunning piece of property like this one. I’m going to need some mature oak trees and vineyards. Privacy hardly seems like an issue here.
Very nice! A very well designed and full of features!
Definitely needs a stovetop for sure. I also noticed the glass table in the living room gets in the way of the projector screen, so you'd have to move the table and chairs out of the way to avoid any obstructions. Apart from those two things, this is a pretty awesome home!
I have a washer and dryer in my main level bathroom and it has worked really well.
I like this the best of all your toured homes. I wish I could afford one though living on Social Security it seems impossible. Your the greatest!
kills me that the little one started at 35k and this one at 199k....I was hoping it was closer to 125k
$299k. It "starts" at $299k.
You've already burned through $200k just for the home without any other costs like property, transport and land development. Might as well build a stick home on site.
Useless
@@Sangreaalstube not “starting from”, BUT two models with FIXED prices, $199k and $299k, ant that includes all furniture, home appliances, electronics etc.
Tbf, I see a lot of trims and fixtures
That one is really nice ! 👍
Wow, good idea. Thanks for posting this
Thanks for watching

Ooh me likey! Very futuristic!! And you are an entertainer!!😅🤣😂
factory tours are awesome

Another great video !
Thumbs up 👍 Kerry
I like it! Pricey, but I like it! Thanks Kerry!!
A well thought out plan. The smartness of the home is simple sophisticated and sweet. Thanks Kerry !
Impressive!

With sufficient battery capacity, it is possible and many are doing so with their own homes.
Thank you Kerry for another outstanding video presentation, this video was killer.

Thanks for bringing us this video Kerry, always interesting stuff! 👍
Love this
Hooray 🎉. Thursday fix of Kerry and his wide variety of homes to see! 😁.
🥶🖤🔔👍🏻❤️
Appreciate that!
I’m not trying to kill viewership but putting the price in the title would help a lot of us decide if we are even going to watch
does it have a cook top
Still what to know how it is rated for wildfires.

Like the looks! But does the bathroom have a window? (The one side next to the sink reminds me of closed horizonal blinds.)
No stove?
Awesome home! It is great that it comes fully loaded to bed move in ready. A factory tour would be informative, will look for it.
🤣🤣🤣Glad your breakfast was ready for you!
Luv this
Glad to hear that 🤝
i'm glad for that price the dishes are included.
Breakfast in the oven! 😂😂
Yeah I just bong like white socks and white snickers are a none starter for me.Anyway this is the house for me I won’t change anything.🎉
I like the home, but it’s very much a California price. Great job on the tour. Cheers!
Well, for that kind of money, I’d buy an RV! Cheers 🥂
For 200k, you can build a bigger full-sized home with multiple bedrooms. You don't need all the bells and whistles this prehab comes with.
BREAKING... Kerry discovers a door that closes, yes that's what he said,,,!!!
How much is the total cost including delivery and set up? Thank you
What does “nearly had a jammer” mean?
Heart attack ?
My immediate thought was that Kerry is reviewing a greenhouse. It probably looks a lot more impressive in person.
Very nice
loved this one Kerry. Is it suitable to buy two and connect them?
I'm in the Apple ecosystem, and this home runs on Apple HomeKit automation. I like it.
The magic lights & built in Ikea stuff is nice but, really it's all just jimcrackery at a premium. Hay, maybe that's just what folks want these days....

Beautiful place for a B&B. Not live-in material. Not enough storage space and way too expensive. But awesome nevertheless.
I'd live in that. Np
Is there a way to get cross ventilation? Saw a air conditioner.

Sewage?
and this one, 199,000 LMAOOOOOOOO
Would look better on Mars
no stove ???
also dont like that you cant lock the wc door, other then that it seems ok
None of the windows open to allow fresh air inside this box? Is this a module to ship to the Moon or Mars? Maybe for 300k.
What was the Air bnb rate?
What about floods
Sure I could live in that full time. But I’d need a storage pod for my clothes and equipment. So realistically not practical for most people.

not convinced
There is no cook top...so you cant cook anything?
Mirror windows + flying birds = Bird Death.
750 bucks a square foot. Jesus
300k for a greenhouse
Really, you could build an awesome 16X60 tiny home for less than that and over 800 sq ft. but of course be on the grid.
People living in these houses should not throw stones.
5HRS? WAS WRITING TRUSTS .. OK, WHAT WE GOT TODAY? LOS GATOS? MY HOME TOWN . BEFORE I MOVED TO HAWAI'I
Starts at $200k without anything in it... damn overpriced for what it is....
Waaay too expensive.
For $300,000 I shouldn’t have to put my coffee down to open the door! 🤦🏻♂️
Sheer GREED! 🤑
