Great catch. I love red-tailed hawks. I live in an area where they are so abundant that they have been incorporated into our city's logo. They screech over my house all the time. I love it.
+ButterflySpirit Thank you, so true, its seems populations for birds of prey are up this year I am not sure the reason but many have had more offspring, one pair had three successfully hatch.
Definitely recognize this sound! I always wondered why a bird makes the noises it does. Is it calling out to friends and family...or merely telling you off? lol Love this!
@@NatureInspiredSnipsnSnaps but, she didnt say this was an eagle. She was saying that MOVIES use the sound of hawk to portray an eagle in flight. Probably because they sound more majestic as opposed to the sound bald eagles make when they sound like seagulls. Lol
+Patricia White yes there was a few times they came to the meadow bird feeders and you do have to watch small pets..especially like rabbits. Thank you hope to see you on my channel again.
Zonose One of them already toke mine :(..I only has one,her name was cookie, for 4 days straight the hawk came into my yard everyday....but on the fifth day they toke her :'( .I cried for hours in my room.ill see her again later in in heaven.
I had one grey hawk swoop over my yard to capture my free range chickens...it missed, landed in tree before ot took off..thankfully no casualties and has not returned been 2 months.

Great video! He was very vocal! I love red tailed hawks and birds of prey, they’re amazing animals.
Thanks..glad you liked the video please subscribe to keep my channel alive..
sometimes I would study with my window open and see/hear a hawk flying in circles around my neighborhood for a good while until it flies off.
It’s actually cursing out all the birds of prey in movies for not paying out royalties to it.
Same thing happened to me while hiking the Red Rock Canyon
That is cool
..great hike.
Classic Eagle call
Perfect time!!!! Very nice capture
Thank you glad you liked it and stopped by.
McCree: *It's hiiiiigh noon...*
Lets give a moment for those who thinks that this is the bald eagle
It sounds like a red tailed hawk... makes sense, hawks are birds.
That’s badass. Just imagine if it’s screech sounded just like it did in movies
0:57 Sounds like the movie screech to me!
I just noticed that in movies sometimes the put this sound with an eagle. Bald eagles don't sound like this they sound like seagulls.
This is screech of hawk and def not eagle as you say.
Please don't do that to seagulls. Seagulls are majestic creatures. All hail the mighty squawk.
