As always, good explanations and visuals of what to do. The design is also a crucial part of the finished product in my opinion.
Absolutely, this was medium difficulty design. The pattern matching is much harder. Thank you again for watching and leaving us nice comments!

Thank you for the great video. I’ve been wanting to try Hiipoo tumblers and paper, and now I will! I’ve always used Crafting Besties paper, but they always seem to be out of stock. I don’t have your same brand of tumbler press, but will try you time/temperature settings too.

Awesome
We’re glad this is helpful!
Hi Guys! Thank you for all your awesome videos, I have a SawGrass SG500 sublimation printer, the picture I'm going to use is bigger than letter size paper so I have to slice the picture but I am not sure is it even possible to sublimate the two pictures very accurately on the fabric ? would you consider to make a video about this subject?! Thank you so very much!
We think it would be possible with some precision trim work where the two halves meet and supper accurate tape work. Basically a trick shot. We'll put some thought into making a video on this. How this was helpful and thanks for watching!
Ow I'm surprised you didn't use the shrink wrap with a heating gun thanks for sharing
Hi! Shrink wrap is for use in convection ovens, not in tumbler presses. The wrap provides pressure when you can’t otherwise get it. Since a tumbler press clamps around the substrate, a wrap is superfluous. And to get perfect seams and tops and bottoms, you’d still need to tape. Hope this helps!
@@JustMightDIY thanks I want to learn how to do them have a great weekend
Hi, you two . . . just have one more sublimation tumbler question. In the last Hiipoo case I received, there were two "green" tumblers included in the box. They look like glitter, and says sublimation on the box, but I was wondering if you have tried them, and if so, what colors would sublimate the best on these? Thank you for your time, and all your wonder "Just Might DIY" videos!!
Hey there! It’s hard to say what would look good on it without seeing it. However, we did a purple-ish shimmer tumbler in this video and really liked the results: ua-cam.com/video/4feLE6i2A6Q/v-deo.html
Just remember that sublimation ink is translucent, so that green may show through a bit. We would probably aim for complimentary colors (like blues, darker greens, and black) but stay away from reds, pinks and oranges.
Do the boxes that hippo include with the individual tumblers have space to put the straw in? I’m finding a lot of these boxes are just big enough for the Tumblr but if you put the straw in the box is too small.
The straw might be a bit long to fit in the tumbler box perfect. Other than that, don't see why not. We didn't really check that at the time of the making of this video
I just got a new heat press and I’m getting whole ghost line down the middle of tumbler not the tape part never had this problem any advise?
Hey! Are you sure your paper is super tight? It sounds like it may be getting squeezed and lifted in the center.
i am still having trouble witht the measurement on the cup not meeting in the back
It took us quite a few attempts to get it right. We went through quite a few blanks before we got it right, but once you do, it's worth it
I have a question I’m new to this and when I put the size of 9.325x8.250 into silhouette studio canva and Google docs they don’t print the correct size can you help?
Hey! This could be a setting in your printer with how it is scaling your prints. We recommend reaching out to your printer manufacturer to troubleshoot. Good luck!
Just wondering why not just use shrink wrap?
Great question. Doing a full wrap is tricky to control how the edges meet. We never had the success with shrink the way we could using the heat tape. If you have success with it, let us know 😁
What am I doing wrong? I use the measurements provided and the print is still coming out to short for my cups. I am using the photoshop program and my printer is the et-15000. If you could please help me I would really really really appreciate it. Thank you
Hey! Either your print settings are adjusting it down, or your tumbler may be slightly larger than standard (there’s some variation between brands even in the same size). Try increasing the dimensions in photoshop until it fits.
@@JustMightDIY awesome thank you so much.
Gonna try your method now - messed up my 1st 6 tumblers
Can't even say how many we messed up before we found what worked for us!
Did you use 375 for 70 seconds.. or 360 degree ?
We did use 375 for 70 seconds , one turn to get the leftover gap. Different presses will get you Different results. Find what works for your setup and efficiency. Thanks for watching!
