On stage 1+ racingline i got 454hp and 525Nm of torque. But it was a bit of slipping on the dyno, tuner said that it should have around 440-445hp:). Pretty nice number for stg1 OTS tune 😮
The TCU is literally essential with the mqb now, honestly it’s terrible without it. Was miles better pre 2018. I just chopped the R in last month for an Ateca for more space. ECU and TCU next month after exhaust and few visual improvements booked in the next few weeks. Already fitted the intake, turbo elbow and have an intercooler on the way!
I just purchased my 2022 Golf R (Japan) but without the 2 special race modes(Nur and drift mode) but still waiting for dealership to deliver to me. Anyway, I’m only interested in Nurburgring mode because want something that will keep it from auto-shifting when revving high in the RPMs. Can the R-line tune help with that? Thank you.
I have the same setup but racingline intake and elbow virtually identical before and after 416bhp and 540nm. I think you should demo the 1+ file next 450/460bhp just need an intercooler 🤘🏼
Sorry for the side question but I was wondering how good is the stock radiator in these cars? I don’t really track it that much but heard mixed reviews opinions on them. I just want a professional perspective. Thank you.
What kind of power could a 2024 golf R make We the following parts CAI Downpipe Ebcs Fmic Cat back exhaust E85 tuned? What are the rough numbers on something like that? And auto transmission vs manual Is one better than another on these cars ?
@@RegalAutosportme too;). On stage 1+ i measured my car from 0 to 100kmh and got 3.43 on the first try (without 1ft rollout😮). I think golf 8R just with tune become pocket rocket and comes into real sports car teritory ;)
@@BryceCzirr-jz7ju Mustang a sports car? Too soft, imprecise steering, no good for the track in stock form. It's a fast cushy cruiser. Golf R is sharp and ready for the race track out of the box. So... I'd consider it more of a sports car because you can actually use it as one right away.

Before and now, my MK6 GTi, full FBO stage 2 was spitting DSG codes everytime it would see full boost. A TCU flash, DSG is happy now, no more codes.
“Exhaust looks really good” does it??
We love it!
How do You like racingline software long term?

RacingLine tune deactivates the auto upshift in manual mode, hope this helps!

The engines do run hot and over the request on track, so for longevity, it would be ideal to increase the cooling power of the circuit

We the following parts
CAI
Downpipe
Ebcs
Fmic
Cat back exhaust
E85 tuned?

What aftermarket coilovers work with the Gil’s Dynamic suspension?
We have many kits available, contact us at shop.regalautosport.com
What is your build date? I have a March 22 & believe it’s still locked? Thanks. 🙏
21 I think
@@RegalAutosportThanks, mine is March 22 so waiting for the TCU to be unlocked… 🤞🤞🤞😅
When dailying the car around, is the mpg effected by the tune?
Doesn't appear so in our testing
is this with a stock downpipe ? thanks
It sure is! its just an intake
can racingline map the tcu on a 21plate clubsport? just had car plugged in for apr tuning and they said that they cant tune the tcu!
If its locked, its unlikely they will be able to tune it. Worth a try though!
How would You compare racingline tune to APR? Racingline looks like it is pushing more top end power
We haven't tested them back to back on the same car, so can't comment really, but we're super happy with the RacingLine tune!

Wheel setup ?
Not sure
Available in usa?
Not sure, we are in the UK
How do you do the TCU tune if it’s locked or am I missing something.
This TCU was not locked
@@RegalAutosport was it one of those early models that isn’t locked? I’ve been reading up on it but haven’t come across one. I appreciate the reply.
Does this work with the 20 years model ?
Shoot us an email with the VIN, we'll check
Great plate 😊
haha! Thanks
What tips are these? Looks sweet.

The only thing missing in this video was the post-tune exhaust note
You can kinda hear it
So not even what a stock 10 speed mustang GT makes. Cool. (which cost less too)
I think you forgot that you’d be in a Mustang
@RegalAutosport Correct. An actual sports car and sounds like one. Not a blue Egg with a 4 banger.

And the Golf R is alpt quicker than the mustang.
