They looked much better last week but the heat has just sucked the life out of them. They'll be fine again now that the clouds have returned. I'm editing Part 2 but it'll be live this week at some point.😃

Haha thanks Mick! Things are going pretty well at present. I’m just waiting for it all to drop back down to ‘normal’ viewing figures! I don’t know if or when that’ll happen, but I’ll take it while it’s working. Bet yours have struggled in the heat last week. I got sick to death of damping down the greenhouse then ten minutes later the temps were right back up again! 🤷♂️🤣
It’s been a struggle Geoff but I’ve increased humidity to 80% and with the fans and evaporated cooler I’m managing to keep just below 29°c still a bit too warm.
The streps are lovely! A little wilty, but aren't we all at the moment :). I don't usually like pink and yellow combination flowers but Motyl caught my eye in a good way! Streptocarpellas can be touchy, a sort of Goldilocks plant. I have a basket of Blue Heaven on my porch, humming birds love it.
That was just about the hottest day of the year so far - and likely not to be repeated this year, so yeah they were holding up just about. They'll soon bounce back though now the clouds have returned. One of my ambitions is to see a Hummingbird in real life!
@@Grow_Up_Man55 We are having a week of 32, it was 27 at 10am :0 I get outside things done early and hide inside. Costa Rica has fantastic humming birds, and the panhandle of Florida during migration in the Fall is pretty great too.

Yeah exactly - we're back to cloud cover again here with rain forecast this week so I expect they'll bounce back in a few days. I've just bought some Fleischle hybrids and they seem to be growing much more quickly, so you could be right.

Haha! I certainly was by the end of filming this - with the fans and fogger off, then I had to close the doors because someone's house alarm was going off, by the time I finished it was 37°C in there. 'I'm melting....I'm melting....' - more like the Wicked Witch of the West.

Mine are in bloom..not as glorious as yours but still beautiful.
The heat has sapped their perkiness but they'll bounce back.😁
