Hi there, a new subscriber to your channel. I get such a kick out of watching your great videos and the fact that they are so varied in all aspects of gardening. We share so many of the same interests it would seem. Anyway, totally enjoy watching. Thanks so much for sharing.
I LOVE the beautiful flowers on these beauties :-) They are so so GORGEOUS, and the colors absolutely stunning, Thanks so much for sharing their beauty with us Rachel and have a BLOOMING LOVELY weekend ahead XXXXXX
Gardening at Douentza Oh definitely. I am checking on-line on streps right now. BTW, I think I saw Encyclia Cochleata in the background in your watering video. I am nosey. Can you make a video how you care for yours? I read that it will bloom on the same spike for years. Is it true? What is your experience? I just bought one during one of my insomnia episodes. Thank you.
Roy Plant Dharma It is a very easy orchid, Roy, and mine is now a good size. The spike seems to elongate and keep flowering, much like an epidendrum. Take a look at this video, from 5:59 onwards... ua-cam.com/video/eP6vmcHrwMg/v-deo.html
Love your streptocarpus. I have several myself and I have a question. I see in this video you have 'Black Magic'. At one point I was growing 'Black Magic' and 'Olwen'. Both are very similar and somewhere along the way I lost one and then lost the label on the remaining one. Do you know 'Olwen' and do you know the differences between the two? I think the backs of the flowers were pretty much the only difference I could see. I would like to label the one I have left with it's proper name. Thank you so much for any help you can give.
Rachel ... Ti devo confessare che prima dei tuoi video non conoscevo questo genere di piante .. Lo Streptocarpus ERA SCONOSCIUTO .. Ora non solo me li hai fatti conoscere ma mi hai fatto anche innamorare. Streptocarpus 'Harlequin Blue' (Dibley's) IS A openeye DREAM
fifi corina I do grow my streps indoors, Corina. I prefer to keep an eye on them there as it is hard to reduce the light enough in the greenhouse. What do you mean 'how is helping you to make the video'?
In general Fantasy markings are stable from vegetative propagation. There are many in African violets. Just do more than one and wait and see. It's caused by a mutable gene, the same system that makes multicolored corn kernals on ornamental corn
Gorgeous I love streptocarpus !! Still waitin to see the begonias!! hahah I'll just keep pressing you ;) I'm going to upload a quick vidoe maybe tomorrow to so stay tuned
Garrett Spring Garrett, I haven't forgotten about your request for a begonia update and felt guilty when I passed by the two begonias at the end of this video, remembering you. The problem is that, as part of that video, I want to show a couple of begonias that are dug in in the greenhouse border. But that is going to have to wait for the tropicals to go out! Looking forward to your video.

Giovanni Orchids Killer Sono felice di aver operto i tuo occhi a queste belle piante. Buona giornata :)
They are very beautiful, can they grow indoor? And how is helping you to make this video?

I meant who is the nice person to offer to be behind the camera, I think I've notice that in some of the past videos too.
fifi corina Ah yes. That is my husband. Sometimes my boys video for me too :)

I don't think so
