Man! I remember doing these thirty years ago when there was no trail, people or lift! We could 4x4 up to the base of the mountain back then. Good to see again! Bryan from Vancouver
40 + yrs ago as high schoolers we'd access via weldwood logging roads. Don't know if I could still do skypilot but you've inspired me to try again sometime
Was up here but super foggy and no helmets, so we had to stop near the snow and glacier, really wanted to see the route up but all this videos weren't that great. Got a way better sense of the route now! Thanks Luke! great video!
Another great video and congratulations on the successful summit. Curious tho, you didn't mention anything about the pink slab. Most people that I have talked to, spoke of this segment as being the toughest part of the hike? Did your team take a different route which bypasses it?
I see a lot of gold bearing ores rusty coloured)and a 4 foot thick quartz seam you passed by! Was this just a hike, or did you bring down some rock samples?

Thanks Scott! Ya, I hope this helps people see the route beforehand so that they're prepared.
What a climb eh. Looked pretty scary in some parts, one wrong move and it’s a loooong tumble down!
Another inspiration - thank you, Luke!

Another great video and congratulations on the successful summit. Curious tho, you didn't mention anything about the pink slab. Most people that I have talked to, spoke of this segment as being the toughest part of the hike? Did your team take a different route which bypasses it?
Thanks Eddy. The pink slab was shown from 4:00 to 5:10 it is worth taking it slow and being careful, but our group had no difficulty with it.
Very nice, good job ! 🙂
Thanks Petr!
The title made me think this was going to be about getting good drone shots or something 🤣Another stunner.
Haha, I actually think Sky Pilot has one of the coolest names.
That scrambling looks sketchy, great shots of it going up, what backpack do you have?
Yep, the scrambling has some pretty decent exposure on this route!
I have a pacsafe backpack here.
I see a lot of gold bearing ores rusty coloured)and a 4 foot thick quartz seam you passed by!
Was this just a hike, or
did you bring down some rock samples?
Well done as per usual its a beauty.
Thanks Richard!
Nice one Looked like a fun one. My bro just did that one too (jmk studio productions). He had some cool drone footage there.
How did you get to the gate?
Shannon creek fsr
Sorry, Nina had to stay home for this one
How long did it take one way..??
5 hours ish
I want to do this one so bad! Did you use the gondola and then hike up from there?
Nope, the gondola is too expensive for me! We drove and parked at the gate on the fsr on the backside
Are you looking for a video editor?
POV was weird / unsettling / not informative 😢
hahah. Next time I'll be sure to consult you first for all pov matters
