Yeah they’re a decent 10. Sound grand in the ringing chamber. They go well, treble’s are a bit flighty and if the odd-struckness was sorted, they’d be a cracking peal of bells
I love listening to church bells they give me so much peace I can’t even explain, they just sound so heavenly 🤍 is there a chance you will be doing any half muffled 10 bells at any time? I love muffled bells! I love your videos bring on the bells ☺️
I personally try not to record bells muffled, I like them fully open for my channel. My video of Stanway’s bells was an exception, because they were muffled to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
I think 10 bell ring always sounds the best and has a brighy upbeat sound. While i love the sound of heavy bells say atound 30cwt this is such a sweet Whitechapel 10, almost the goldilocks peal. You have a delightful 10 and an 8 and even a ligher 6 not that the back 6 is heavy. This could be the goldilocks ring, just right.
I personally also think 10 is the best number of bells to ring on too. Yeah Whitehall are a lovely ring of 10. Treble’s are a little flighty and they’re all pretty odd-struck, but with a bit of TLC and work to the treble’s, they’ll be a fantastic ring of 10
What a lovely little ten. Great ringing 👌

I love the sound of church bells. These sounded good and the change ringing was beautiful. Cheers from Canada
I love Bristol surprises!
I love ringing Bristol too. Unfortunately I don’t know Bristol Royal. I know Bristol Minimus, Major, and I’m learning Maximus
@@JamesJoynson You haven’t learnt Maximus yet? Keep it up.

Even though I live in Bristol, I cant find the tower or church in bristol, can you please tell me on what street it is and what is the place named
they sound similar to st dunstan in the west which are whitechapel from 2011
They’re the same founder. Just the back 8 were cast 87yrs earlier. At the time, the company was named Mears & Stainbank.
Hi James. How do you get to film at all different towers. I’m a ringer myself and I want to start filming the bells I ring
Oh now that would be telling wouldn’t it 😁😁😉

@@JamesJoynson trebles are often flighty especially on 12s around 30cwt, I tend to shy away from the front and prefer something around 12 to 15cwt
also dove here is wrong it shows rhat the bells are on 2 tiers they are all in 1 frame
No. If you properly look, it says Frame 1 and Frame 1.1, which the extension of Frame 1 from when they augmented the ring. It doesn’t say Frame 2
