I think I could simply lay down, shut my eyes and be in a state of being in the present, not a care in the world and being overwhelmed by the beautiful Taylor bells .
@maidstone10 both Maidstone which you know oh so well and Evesham have that warmth and mellowness about them which I love and of course the icing on the cake of heavy Taylor bells. What I do t understand is why the prewar Taylor heavy tenors have that wonderful drone , I'm thinking Yorkminster, Inveraray Winchester and the lovely 8 at Wesfbury to name a few. Pure magic I think
@Steven_Rowe I was told the profile from mid 1920s up until recently was the same. Maybe the casting temperature changed. Leighton Buzzard is almost identical to these!
Rang on them recently, I fell in love with them instantly. My favourite one was the 8th 😁
An absolute joy to hear, many thanks for uploading and capturing these in all their glory

Absolutely beautiful bells and good ringing too!
A very fine ring! Thanks for posting!
They remind me of the 1957 32cwt 10 at All Saints Maidstone.
What an ABSOLUTE JOY to listen to.
My thoughts too!

@stever5599 Where was that?
these remind me of grantham cause they sound the same but the tenor there is 3cwt larger
The tenor is actually 3cwt heavier at Evesham than Grantham, 35cwt versus 32cwt, Grantham are tuned fractionally deeper, but there's not a lot in it.
nice taylor bells
Good afternoon
They also remind me of the back 10 Coventry Cathedral bells! Grantham as well
I love the sound
And not to mention, they also sound like the infamous 10 at Christchurch Cathedral, Victoria, BC, there was a news article about those bell
Used to live right next to these
Hello how are you

I'm interested to know what recording device you're using, particularly the sound to avoid distortion?
