We are so glad you are here! Welcome to our channel!
1. We are in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border.
2. We do this on a volunteer basis.
3. Kim aka Mom is retired. Jennifer owns her own business as a massage therapist.
4. We film multiple locations in one day since we can’t go out all the time given Jen’s full time job. You may not see all the locations we filmed that day in one video.
5. You may see other people in our videos at times including Granny aka Sue (mom’s mom), Jeff (Kim’s husband and Jennifer’s dad), or Jessica (Jennifer’s little sister) and Lucy (our beautiful, amazing, wonderful dog).
6. Many wonder why we put stuff down culverts. A few reasons: it provides help for wildlife, we like to and it would have gone downstream anyway. If it blocks another culvert then we will take care of that too but most of the locations we visit are in incredibly rural areas where there won’t be another culvert for miles.
7. We care about wildlife and never want to cause harm to them. The only reason we will clear a beaver damn is if it is threatening land or roads that can not be accessed any other way. It may not be the road directly within sight but a farm road close by.
8. We appreciate advice in the comments. We understand that we will receive constructive criticism in the comments. What we won’t allow is the calling of names, derogatory terms, or just plain calling us stupid or idiots. We are all adults here and the internet is already a largely negative place as it is, let’s not add to it. We are people doing our best to help our neighborhood and planet by picking up trash and clearing culverts. Why do we deserve hate for that?
9. You may not agree with or like the way we did something but that doesn’t mean we did it wrong. There is a right/wrong way to dismantle a bomb. Clearing culverts is up for interpretation to the one doing the work.

Sarah I knew beavers built dams but I’d no idea just how complex they do it The fact they reinforce the structure with mud and clay is amazing
They’ve just reintroduced these animals to uk 🇬🇧 after they became extinct hundreds of years ago The project started in Scotland and now over last few years down in the south west of uk We suffer from flooding in parts of our country let’s hope these little creatures don’t add to the problem

great job girls,but a piece of advice. Get some water flowing before throwing branches and stuff into the pipe.Once you have some current moving,it will carry the debris thru. Otherwise you have what you had.

I love watching you guys. Great job helping your communities and surrounding areas. Please one thing as someone who has been with DPW for awhile , could you try and NOT push so much down the culverts? I know its long hard dirty heavy smelly work, but I assure you its a diaster that will get caught in the middle of the pipe that people like me have to clear causing erosion. It takes very little to clog them up and tens of thousands of dollars to unclog if not more. This isnt a critiscism. Water behind building up doesnt always do the trick. Keep doing what youre doing. We remove not push through. See you guys soon. GREAT JOB and Deep thank you

Why do you throw sticks in the culvert? Does it not Cause trouble further down the stream, causing a block in someone else’s culvert or help block a stream as it goes down the water way?
As I understand it, beavers will not use wet sticks for dams.
You have got to use a shovel on that muck in front .
When you take a shot of debris clearing the end of the culvert could you please let it finish before pulling away? You might see it clear with your eyes but the camara isn't. Thanks!

You need to make sure your county commissioners in OK and county judges in AR see your videos of the damaged culverts that are being destroyed by their employees! This is avoidable!!
