Time for the boy scouts or girl scout troops to pick up litter along these roads...a. great way to help out their community.😊 super great effort, ladies!
As a scout leader myself I couldn't agree more!!! This would be great service hours to help clear these kinds of things before they become a problem!!!
There are county jail road crews who still pick up trash and have a mower crew behind them ! Or else a janitorial company who hires the handicap no matter what it might be ! My last 6 years of 10 I had working for them was the best years of my life from lead person just over a year on the job. For the next 6 years I would work every job where someone called in sick or on vacation. 24/7 and worked graveyard more times than I wanted too. Was always amazed at people working in whatever department say hi and is whoever out today, then them praise their janitor for all his great work and they never explained what he did real good. I was a detail janitor but not knowing what he was really good at left me worried!
It can & IS expensive to buy & install a culvert for your driveway. Why these homeowners done take better care of their ditches & culverts is beyond me. They either have enough money to not care or they don’t understand what happens over time of not being maintained. Great job ladies!!! Stay safe. ❤
I help the neighbors drains when I can. We share a curb drain from one end to the other. The leaves and debris keep the water from reaching the storm drain. Every little bit helps.
My first time to see lady’s doing this both of you are amazing. Thank you so much for doing this thing to your community BRAVO 👏 BRAVO 👏 I NEVER SCAPE ADS JUST TO HELP YOU BOTH A LITTLE. I CANT WAIT TO SEE YOUR OF YOUR VIDEOS
Great call on that stupid cattle fence, Kim! Just do what you do as long you find it fun. If it is no longer fun, move on! That's the formula for the videos we enjoy most. 🎉🌊
Rainy days make for great unclogging videos! It makes me happy to come home from work and see a new video from you ladies. Mama went behind the fence! LOL. Great job, it needed to be done! 😊
Hi just a question but if its leaves and stick that block it why do use put them in the culvert for the water to eventually back up from other culverts and flood so much?
I know that it has to tick you two off that every time you get out of the car, there is a small dump on the side of the road. Ridiculous! You two are great!
Post 10 is not some kind of superhero. I love Jen and her mom and dad so much better. Actually used to watch Post 10 but stopped and now I regularly check their channel for videos I haven't seen yet plus have subscribed.
Do any of the roadworks come around & pickup the wood that you take out of the water & leave side of road ? You should carry a piece of pipe to pry up broken sluice pipes that are broken on end in way of flowing water . (About 3~4 foot piece)
I’m watching this on a rainy April 11th. It’s been raining all morning, it’s 2:31 pm and it’s still coming down. Thank you for providing some much needed entertainment! Your state should give you some compensation for the great job you’re doing. 😎🇨🇦😎
When you use your rake on a fence line put it on the side where it's blocked and take your break up and down like a 12 in or so and keep moving it back and forth left to right and you should get some of that stuff to come loose
Ladies Kim and Jen you do a great service for your community and far as I can find you are the only team of ladies that do this on you tube North Carolina cares
I had a leaf blower that you used to be able to change the head on it and it would suck up the leaves and mulch it out the bottom of the handle pot I don't remember if it was electric or battery
Jenn my son had kinda the same issue as you bigger calfs then most what he did was found some boots that fit and then found some rain gear with pants and used that water proof gorilla tape/glue and glued them over and taped the seams to make his own waders just added suspenders. Hope the idea helps you in some way
You guys seem to be well traveled around Oklahoma. I have been looking to move there but I have no idea of any towns that are nice and has a Walmart within 20 minutes. If you have any suggestions that would be awesome because you seem to know a lot about the state.
southeast Oklahoma is probably the most diverse in landscape. the western side is flatter and winder. mccurtain county has some beautiful places and a state park. the price of land and housing is a little high because the area has grown so much. but there are jobs and schools and a Walmart. 🤣 ft. smith ark. is also right on the border of ok and it is a pretty big area with lots to offer shopping wise and prob job and housing wise. of course, you should always visit an area for making a big decision like that. hope that helped and we would be glad to have you here!
@@culvertsandmore thank you. I have looked at so many towns and some do not even have a gas station. I figured if they had a Walmart there is a better chance of the town having internet which is a must for me. Again thanks for the help. It’s beautiful with all the water and unspoiled nature in Oklahoma.
I like to walk in the leaves and i just shuffle my feet as i go....cleans up all the leaves. Also i would pull the leaves with the current instead of to the side sometimes cause they need to end up downstream sooner or later.
A good way to keep Mama from falling in would be to grab her belt next time. Just before that, she almost fell on her potato rake with that pallet in her hands. If the tines are always down it won't hurt so much.
Great job on all that mess! Why on earth would anyone use pallets against an already existing wire fencing? Intentionally blocking the water flow… That pallet had to be heavily waterlogged….Kim, you’re such a show off! 😂😂😂 Take care you two….sending love from the also rainy north, 🇨🇦 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Now this is where our infrastructure tax dollars should be going, to people who actually go out and work to save our roadways from standing water & erosion!
I agree with you. while I'm not saying that they necessarily have more knowledge about culverts than him, I like that they start the video and they are doing culverts the whole time. every once in a while they may show an awesome old home or flowers but the bulk of what they show is culvert related. post has gotten to where he just talks constantly and he is comes across as a know it all to me. I know these girls have said that they aren't trying to compete with him or compare themselves to him so I'm sure they don't want any ill will between any of the channels that do this. I'm happier to watch them than post though.
Hello Ladies, Wonderful job you're doing.. I just want to reach in sometimes and grab that last piece that's always stuck. Can you work on your audio a bit. This one seemed quite muffled compared to others. Not complaining, just an observation.. Keep up the great work you're doing.
Poor country, in europe the communitys make this work, and we have not so much waste/trash on our streets...because everybody is looking for our nature to keep it clean.
I'm gonna miss you guys, I have a government phone and they are taking away unlimited data and I only get a few gigabytes. Maybe if I only watch once in awhile I won't go over
considering the guy doesn't pick up garbage along his property, i will bet he will just kick those logs right back into the ditch. so much for your good work, eh?
we get it, we do. but when we are doing these ditches we are constantly moving from one spot to the next on busy roads. sometimes it isn't a possibility. we have been trying to be more conscious of it in future videos though.
I love the line “Other people don’t think about culverts the way we think about culverts” - instant classic quote!!
Great job ladies!!
Time for the boy scouts or girl scout troops to pick up litter along these roads...a. great way to help out their community.😊 super great effort, ladies!
Time for people to stop being so selfish and throwing it in the first place
As a scout leader myself I couldn't agree more!!! This would be great service hours to help clear these kinds of things before they become a problem!!!
Or the unemployed to give back to the community supporting them

What a. Valuable service you 2 are doing. I love that you are mother and daughter.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO LADIES 😊
I laughed out loud "I'm going down Jen" 🤣😂🤣
Good job - so satisfying to watch!
Thank you for your wonderful and necessary service.
Great job as always
Thanks for walking in the rain with us and y’all ❤
Watching Post 10 for years and love to see people just getting involved and making their environment a better place.
Great job.
Looks like this is becoming a full time job, so many culverts
You can say that again!
Thank you for another great video!
Thanks for another great video.

Thank you for this ditches-series(?) love it ! Sorry for all the rain tough
And they say it rains in the UK! Excellent work Ladies!
Tuyệt vời quá cảm ơn bạn đã chia sẻ video này ❤❤❤
I love how your mom says "leaves don't clog it up that much" but yet that is what you are removing. LOL
I'm in MI and last night our rain started and keeps going every day into next week. Wish I had culverts to clean out.
I help the neighbors drains when I can. We share a curb drain from one end to the other. The leaves and debris keep the water from reaching the storm drain. Every little bit helps.
Well done ladies You do a brilliant job for your communities 👍👍
Great job!
Jen knows her ditches! Lol

Thank God for rain, for it makes for some awesome videos! It never gets old!
I think cute little rubber duckies racing down the ditches would be hysterical!!
😂
I really enjoyed watching that. Well done, ladies! ❤

great work and hi from scotland uk
Hi just a question but if its leaves and stick that block it why do use put them in the culvert for the water to eventually back up from other culverts and flood so much?
Post 10 does the same thing. Kind of defeats the purpose, doesn’t it?
I know that it has to tick you two off that every time you get out of the car, there is a small dump on the side of the road. Ridiculous! You two are great!
Ive actually now watched all your post's ladies, I need more ,Well done you have done brill again xx
Look what post10 started
Fr the water mark got me but least he shows the whole thing draining
Post is superior these aren't culverts their pipes
@@Outdoordraperthey don’t have the time to sit at a culvert all day and chat like he does
@@brocluchtit’s a culvert. What a weird thing to try to use to say one channel is better than the other.

Love the tapping sound of the raindrops on the mic!🎤 😊
Like the green fence post with the white paint on top as a marker for the culvert. They should all have one!😢
Hi another very good work. Wonderful to see. Have a nice day. 🦫🪷
Ylva Sweden 🇸🇪
Greetings from Florida
This was very enjoyable! Thanks
Sometimes, there's a better tool for the job than a potato rake.
I agree with you Jen about people cleaning their own culverts. But then you two would be out of a job xxx😅😅😅😅

They are getting paid to keep the roads open. So how often do the State people clean or check them???

Hi, girls from the UK, great Job love your work, and dedication, I thought we had a trash problem Oh my.
Y’all do such a great job and it helps everyone that uses that road.

Love your videos ! I've never seen 1 guy think to use extensions on a push pipe with 8 inch wide pad to push way more !

Porque vuelves a echar las hojas secas a la coladera y no las haces a un lado? Volveran a tapar otra coladera no cres?
I so enjoy watching you two but I think the farmers that. Put the fences up in front of the coverts and the clog up should be charged for the clean up
good job mom
That’s good homeowner should be doing their own maintenance
A good way to keep Mama from falling in would be to grab her belt next time. Just before that, she almost fell on her potato rake with that pallet in her hands. If the tines are always down it won't hurt so much.
Jen - there are 5 or 6 brands of 'womens wide calf chest waders'. They run around $100.00.
I found some eventually. they will be in future videos. thanks for the info!

Super Kim and Jen North Carolina cares
Nice job you all😅😅😅😅.
Wet leaves in the road can cause accidents. They decrease traction between tires and the road.
I love what you are doing. Just don't send the leaves and stuff down stream to clog up again. I'm sorry you have to do this
Si sabes que todo lo que dejas correr de hojas ,taparán otro desagüe?
If you leave them piled on the side the next heavy rain will just wash them back into the culvert.
Now this is where our infrastructure tax dollars should be going, to people who actually go out and work to save our roadways from standing water & erosion!
any idea about taxes for the roads and drains ?
None 🤷♀️ we aren’t sure but not a lot goes to them.
I think it's the price you pay for country living
Watching from manila
Seems to me these people should do ditch maintenance. Weedeat and blow the leaves out and away from the drains.
Yes, scouts collecting litter is a great idea. Better idea? People just don't litter!
We agree!
You guys are officially better than Post 10. Keep up the good work. 👍

I can only imagine the runoff in those creeks near the cow pastures. Please wash those boots and gloves well!
Why don’t you take the garbage also!
because we would need an entire dumb truck. we don't have enough space in my truck for all of it.

Když se to opět dává do odtoku, zase se to ucpe jinde. To není dobrý postup😮

I guess you guys don't pick up the trash you come across anymore.... That's really sad to see.
We do until we run out of room in the truck to haul it.
Love Mom don't give 💩 attitude,
Are these two ladies really mother and daughter?
Yes
yes we are
By putting the leaves into the flow only creates problems downstream,
Trespassing tearing up that farmer's swamp crops. TSK TSK
It’s always tore up
Good video, except I turn the sound off. Too much talking.
