Thanks, this video is so boring
I Have been teaching English for many years but I can tell you your lessons always help me to keep my English in shape. Thank you for helping me to improve my English.
So am i
My name is Nigatu Chernet; I'm from Ethiopia. I appreciate your ways of teaching and hopefully I will achieve my fluency level.
Hi Nigatu. Thanks for commenting & checking out the lesson. 👍
I’m from Thailand 👋. Your voice is so smooth. Thank you for helping me improve my English likes native speakers😊

Hi i'm from Myanmar.I am a self learner. English is taught poorly in our high school. Your videos help me improve a lot.Thank you so much
Hi Lucus. Glad you enjoyed the lesson. Thanks for your comment. 👍
Hello Wes! I highly appreciate your english lessons. I was in the home stretch of my daily english learning routine and this lesson was the perfect closure. I tried to hang on your every word, but got interrupted twice :( Please don`t be disappointed or vexed with me. I don`t want to be in the doghouse. Furthermore I want to let you know, that I am thankful for your recommondiation of ELSA Speak. The app really comes in handy for improving my speaking skills. I just love your lessons here on YT. Everybody can tell that you are bending over backwards to teach us English. I am astonished at how much you can improve your vocabulary by watching your videos. I am simply at a loss of words. If we ever meet by chance in Vienna, I will pick up the tab. 🍻
Thanks for commenting & sharing. Glad the app is helping. 👍
I'm from Capital of India 🇮🇳.
I've learned a lot from your videos fo far .
Thanks for your hard work.
That's great! Glad the lessons are helpful. 👍
"In the home stretch" and "Bending over backwards" were new for me.
Many thanks and respect from Russia :)
Hello from France. Funnily, some of the idioms are also used in France. I.E, "bending over backwards" is "se plier en quatre" (folding himself in four parts), or "off the beaten path" corresponds to "hors des sentiers battus" (exactly the same words and meaning !).
Thanks a lot for your videos, so useful for so many non native speakers...
and also "to drink his/her words" wich is the same meaning as "to hang on his/her every word" X)

In the home stretch was so baffling and I didn’t get that right as it is probably not a British idiom

It's interesting to know the proverbs in two language translation. E.g. in Chinese we say 'to kill a chicken and let monkey see' meaning to kill a chicken to scare monkey, to set an example and warn someone else. I don't know what's the equivalent English proverb translation though.
Thanks. I am listening to a lot of English speaking in UA-cam. Mostly unadapted, sometimes films. But all of your ideoms was except . make ends meet. probably were completely new for me. Even that one i new was a quite far recollection. It will certainly improve my speaking, maybe in same cases listening too
