- In this video lesson, I discuss what Chunks of language are and why they could be the most important skill you need in order to become a fluent speaker of English.
You will learn what Chunks are, how to use them and why they will make you the most fluent speaker in your office so that you can impress your boss the next time you have to do a presentation.
Today I found You, it was great to learn about chunks, thanks !!
Hi Gaby, I am glad you liked this video. Learning and using 'chunks' of language is the best way to learn vocabulary in my view.
Thanks so much for the meeting we've just attended.
Hi, I am glad you enjoyed the live session. Please let me know if you have any questions about Active Listening.
@@beautifulbritishenglish-fr5012 its perfect 10/10 god bless you but im just giving you my opinion i wouldn't subscribe qnd pay money for it not cuz its not good enough its because due to covid pandemic people worldwide got problem with money so if its business then postpone it for when people dont have problem with money like we did before covid-19 so keep doijg free till things are okay
Hi Best Rare, I know times are difficult for lots of people and i do give lots of free lessons, however, some people do want and need these kinds of courses and lessons.
Amazing video professor
Great teaching. Thanks so much
You're very welcome!
Great! 'Lbee fola'win yora'd vise, good Master!" I recal a nice chunk from the "Peacky Blinders", when Thomas Shelby once demands, "Gimmi a bo'alow whyskey!"
I am surprised you could understand what Tommy says in his Brummy accent!
@@beautifulbritishenglish-fr5012 Probably because it was not real but scenific Brummy 😃
Guys, do more chunking. It has worked for me. Tried to help my student do the same, but he wouldn't change his ways and insisted that grammar explanations and rules are the only way. I could do in 4 months what he couldn't in 3 years and it isn't likely to change now that we parted forever. I am still pissed at him for repeating that immersion doesn't work. I know how it works, but seem unable to convince older people that it works and leave an angry crowd of the elderly behind me.
Hi Paul, I totally agree! What are some Chunks that you think people should learn?
I wanna practice more chunks ...
Great thanks for your lessons
Glad you like them!
Great video.
Thanks! I hope you learned something from it that you can use.
Thank you 💗
You’re welcome 😊

Hi Boris, i am glad you enjoyed it.
Im poor at speaking and i think that is because the key and the trick is basically about chunks if i just use english chunks instead of translating in my own language that would be magical thing to learn. Thanks teacher i totally agree with what you say 👍😉

@@beautifulbritishenglish-fr5012 i did but im wondering what makes it different than UA-cam videos for instance cuz I've noticed a lot of teachers doing this so-called active meeting or whatever 🤔
@@icanspeakenglish5813 The difference is this will be a live class and you can ask me questions at the end.
Hi! I discovered this video searching for the theme of chunking "tonality" in English and I discovered your channel and subscribed because although it is not about "tonality", I found this video interesting. Greetings from Argentina.
Hi from Italy, I do have some videos on using Rhythm, especially this one: ua-cam.com/video/I9F7nNkoq1k/v-deo.html
And using intonation: ua-cam.com/video/PI6WiTYKLFs/v-deo.html
Let me know if you have any questions.

Hello professor!
I'd like to get some material about chunks in PDF do you have any ?
Thanks so much.
From Brazil
Hi Renato, thanks for your comments. Sorry, but I don't have any PDFs of chunking at the moment, but there is a good article from the British Council here: www.teachingenglish.org.uk/article/lexical-approach-1-what-does-lexical-approach-look
@@beautifulbritishenglish-fr5012 Thanks a bundle
I don't know if I am right, but I do disconnect a bit differently. Let's take your example, I wanna GO / to PAris.
Hi Kishore, I think everyone has a slightly different approach and as long as you deliver your message clearly, it doesn't really matter.
Hope you download more videos about the pronunciation and the listening in English on the channel
Hi Esso hanfy, what help do you need with your pronunciation?
Where can I have more videos like this
I have new videos every week on this channel.
@@beautifulbritishenglish-fr5012 thanks for your amazing channel
Congratulations professor amazing video
Good morning! Where are you from?
Hi Beatriz, can you guess where my accent comes from?
You didn`t really explain why you selected Want and Paris in the first sentence which are Content words . You as a teacher know it, but the students don`t . So i suggest being more exact in your videos
