How to Spool Knit (French Knit), How to Make Your Own Spool Knitter, and what to do with the cord!

In this video, I show how to make your own spool knitter, also known as a French knitter or knitting Nancy, from recycled materials! After that, I show you how to use the knitting spool to make knitted cord. Finally, I make one example of how to use your newly knit cordage! All you need to do this project is yarn, a toilet paper tube, popsicle sticks and elastics. If you like it, you should also get yourself a spool knitter, crochet hook and yarn needle. Spool knitting or French knitting is a perfect craft for when you are bored and waiting around, for example, waiting for a kid to finish lessons or practices!
