Can I Cross Stitch onto an Easy-to-Make Crochet Bunny?? How Cute!!
Переглядів 180Рік тому
In this video, I make a super simple, beginner- friendly crochet bunny pattern. It is a pattern that I created myself, so it's a bit of an experiment. Then I cross stitched a simple floral motif onto its tummy! This worked out even better than I expected and it made a VERY cute little bunny. I would recommend using a softer yarn than this stiff acrylic, but even like this, it's pretty awesome! ...
How Can I Remake This Watercolor Painting on Canvas?? A Painting Experiment
Переглядів 56Рік тому
In this video, I experiment with several different methods to recreate a cool watercolor painting (from a previous video). I don't do a lot of painting, so I just tried all the products I could think of to get the look I wanted. There are probably easier and more efficient ways to make this sort of painting, but it was definitely fun to experiment! I tried modeling paste, glue and acrylic paint...
Making Our Own Socks That Hold Hands!! THE CUTEST DIY PROJECT!
Переглядів 2,5 тис.Рік тому
In this video, we each make a pair of hand-holding socks. We saw an ad for these ridiculous but adorable socks and decided we could figure out how to make them ourselves. All we needed were: socks, pompoms, fabric paint, scrap fabric, scissors, a needle and thread and some magnets. You could also make these with fabric glue if you didn't feel like sewing. These socks turned out SO CUTE. (I thin...
Making and Painting a Creepy - Cute Polymer Clay Sculpture! (Maybe I should have used better clay?)
Переглядів 163Рік тому
In this video, I sculpt and paint a cute little guy with (weirdly sticky) polymer clay and acrylic paints. I made his skeleton with wire, tin foil and some rocks. All the materials are readily available at your local craft store, except the tin foil and rocks, you probably already have those! The whole process was fun and entertaining and resulted in a very cute, although slightly creepy, littl...
Fun and Relaxing Watercolor Art for Everybody! Trying some TikTok inspired projects
Переглядів 63Рік тому
In this video, I attempt to combat the insanity of end-of-year events with some relaxing watercolor art activities. These projects were all inspired by TikTok. They always look so easy and pretty that I decided to finally try them for myself. I can attest that even I, with zero watercolor skill, can make these look pretty good! Give them a try!
How to Tie Dye with Sharpies! Fun and Cute!
Переглядів 224Рік тому
In this video, I show you a really easy way to tie dye t-shirts, sneakers and even a bag using sharpies and isopropyl alcohol. This fun project (best done in a well ventilated area or outside) allows you to make brightly colored clothes and accessories with simple materials. I even tested this method on a fake leather pouch and it worked! So you can easily update cheap or thrifted accessories a...
What Am I Coloring?? Trying Out a Mystery Spiral Coloring Book!
Переглядів 722Рік тому
In this video, I test out a new coloring book where you color in tiny sections of a spiral to reveal the finished image. I used the 005 and 08 fine liner pens to complete my spiral, but a skinny pen(that doesn't bleed too much) would definitely work as well. This is a fun project to relax your brain, it's kind of like coloring in little test bubbles, but without worrying about wrong answers! So...
Drawn To Felt: Turning My Kid's Drawing of Lemonade into a 3-d Felted Sculpture
Переглядів 81Рік тому
In this video, I needle felt a 3 dimensional sculpture based on a drawing of delicious lemonade (with some lime vibes!). I think it's SO FUN to get inspiration from kid art for my felted objects. It's always quite a challenge! This particular project was a really good way to practice making a color gradient, and it was my first attempt at making ice. That might need a little more practice!! I h...
Crocheting a Cute Graduation- Themed Door Decoration
Переглядів 61Рік тому
In this video, I crochet a few different small graduation themed items and combine them to make a graduation door decoration. Happy Graduation season! This is a fun project to add a little fun to your door for the season, especially if you have a graduate in your house! I decided to crochet this project, but you could absolutely make it out of paper or felt and it would be very cute! Grab your ...
How to Make Easy, DIY Grown-Up Merit Badges!
Переглядів 1,2 тис.Рік тому
In this video, I show you a really easy way to celebrate your accomplishments, no matter how small they might be. Did you remember to fold the laundry before it got wrinkly? Did you pay for this month's dance class before the reminder email came out? Did you finally finish that book you started last year? It's time to shout it from the rooftops, or at least from your cute little diy merit badge...

Some Experiments Using Color and Text with Eraser Stamps! Which Methods Work the Best?
Переглядів 63Рік тому
In this video, I continue my fascination with pink eraser stamp making and do some experiments involving color and text. I wanted to figure out what the best way to add color to my stamping might be and did some tests with markers and watercolor. I also wanted to test an idea I had for transferring words and other things that you don't want to print backwards onto your eraser. I had a lot of fu...
Carving Stamps from Plain Pink Erasers - Satisfying Process and Cool Results!
Переглядів 1,3 тис.Рік тому
In this video, I try carving stamps out of regular pink erasers using a linoleum carving kit. This is a great project, because everything but the carving tool is very common and easy to find. Even the carving set is available at your local craft store (I found mine at Michael's). Also, since erasers are so common and easy to find, there isn't a lot of pressure to make the most perfect stamp eve...
Catching Up On My Gratitude Thread Journal! A relaxing afternoon break!
Переглядів 138Рік тому
In this video, I am catching up on my embroidered gratitude journal. Each icon is a little reminder of a thing or event that I'm grateful for. Not surprisingly, I've fallen a little bit behind, so I've decided to take a little break from boring chores and stitch some memories. It's not too late to start your own journal! You don't have to fill sections each month, just pick a section of fabric ...

How To Make a Simple DIY Macrame Mini Wreath!
Sto valutando quale Fleexee loom componibile comprare. Mi serve sapere quanti "chiodini" ha il cerchio più piccolo che si può fare. Mi servono cerchi piccoli di varie misure per fare tubolari di vari "spessori"! Grazie se mi risponderete.
As I recall, you can make a circle with just 8, but there’s really no hole in the middle, so you can’t pull the fabric through.. 10 or 12 might work, depending on your yarn size
It's really nice to see mother and daughter crafting together. I did this back in the old days with my relatives. Such precious times. I commend you!🎉
Thanks so much!
I am knitting on my knitting Nancy as I watch your video. She is really old
That’s awesome!!
Silly googly eyes! 😂❤
@@DorothyPowless definitely!!
Brand new to felting. Have you done any carding, and more specifically, do any carding with mix fabric/thread? Looking to experiment with my fabric scraps.
I’ve only done really simple carding, just to mix colors, but you should try it! (You can use dog combs to experiment, before you invest in anything fancier!)
Awesome
Thanks!
You are a genius! Thank you so much for this!
@@blackavar5723 glad to help!
So cute.
Thanks!
I'm a first time felt crafter. I bought a felt kit of candy canes and read the instructions but couldn't understand what I needed to do exactly. Your video was super helpful and I loved the hack of using the cookie cutter!
@@CarolAtton oh thanks!! I’m so glad it helped!
Wow what a great looking flamingo!
Thanks!!
Thanks for the how to video I'm wanting to recreate the pleasant company Molly past time of the knitting Nelle/Nellie or Nancy doll hat and othee things to make for me and my doll

Where do you buy the wool?
@@kristahawes384 Michaels and Joann sometimes have a small selection, but your best bet is probably online. I like Halcyon Yarn, but there are a bunch of options!
Every time I try to spool knit, the material twists into curls, even when I keep the yarn fairly loose. Can you please help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?
my grandma made these she tried to teach us but none if the grand kids understood how with her Danish accent lol😂 thanks for posting this now my family cam learn from this to keep the tradition passed down.
Oh that’s awesome!!
Bravo I applaud my hands for what you are doing. I really love it. But did ou instanll any things for doing so as softwear?
Thank you! I didn’t use any software, but I have heard about a few different programs that exist. (Haven’t tried any to recommend them though!)
I made bracelets with mine and hair bows!

❤a doll❤hugs Joanne ❤
Would this be long enough for an adult?
I would think so, but if you’d like it a little bit longer, you can just add a few more rows of knots! (And maybe cut the cords longer, but I ALWAYS cut them way too long, so I don’t have that problem)
This is delightful!
@@emilymerriweather9094 thanks! 😊

Thank you for sharing your process! Such a gorgeous result! This is so inspirational, I've been 3D felting for a while but this is really making me want to try painting this way 🤩
Thanks! It’s really fun!
❤ Hi this idea looks so cool,, I was even thinking of a way to use fabric on soap insted of the normal felting wool, by stiching the fabric around the soap as close as you can get it to the inclosed soap I think it would work.and would give a differant look, plus little decals can be stiched on to, what do you think of this idea, do you think it would work.?
I think that would work! It would be like a little washcloth wrapped around your soap! Fun!
@@AssemblyRequiredCrafts I tryed it, and yes it does work great, even stiched on some decals from differant colored felt, I'm going to order a bag set of felting wool you get a storage bag with all the tools you need.
@@Tiger804 yay! Sounds fun!
Great video!!! You’re a pro at needle felting!! I just got started and had good luck with my first kit!! But would like to make animals & birds on my own with no kit some day.
Thanks! The more you practice with different kits, the easier it will be when you go off on your own. And don’t be afraid to make mistakes (or make really ugly projects), that’s definitely part of the learning process!
A sharpie is actually a marker
Love it!
Thanks!!
Good job👍👍❤
Thanks 😊
Can you make a blanket with this? do you have a video on that?
I haven’t made a blanket with this but I’m sure you could.. especially if you made some smaller rectangles and sewed them together like a quilt/afghan
I like your video. Easy to listen to and motivating!
Thanks!
yes I will like it thier coloring for guys
❤
I used to make these as a kid out of a soup can and popsicle sticks
Ooh great idea! They're so fun!
I started therapy yesterday and my silly sense of humor thought I should get a patch for everything that she describes me with, like a badge of honor. So after day 1, I'm going to make a "compound trauma" patch and a "big heart" patch. I would've never thought to use felt! Thank you for this 😊
You are very welcome! Have so much fun with your patches! 😁
Hi there i looked at quite a few video's before coming accoss yours, i must say your video was the best with finally getting the hang of it. thank you so much for a fantastic video. making a cute animal for the grandchildren.
Oh thank you so much, I’m glad it was helpful! Have fun making animals!
yes i thought right! ❤
Hi there any clay that airs using starch on some countries creates mound atracked mice and bugs

Great way to make ornaments. Thank you dor inspuring me.
You’re welcome! Have fun!
Thank you for this video!! You’re a life saver. My daughter got a very similar kit from Barnes and Noble and the instructions were not clear. Now she can make animals to her hearts content!
Also, your fun mannerisms made us smile because you remind us of a dear friend, also a crafter and all-around clever person.
I just started slow stitching in October. I started with 5x7 pieces of muslin, but as a quilter, found this to be too thin, so I started putting batting and another layer of muslin behind. Basically, a teeny quilt, I guess. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE his size and sandwich because it fits just right in your hand. I have been using mostly Sulky 12 wt. thread (1 strand = 2 strands of regular embroidery floss, or doubled = 4 strands, I hear - but the 2 strands of Sulky looks closer to 3 strands of embroidery floss). I’ve been doing 1-2 each day so I now have quite a supply. I’m thinking of maybe trimming off 1/4 inch of the batting and sewing a border between them to create something like a snuggle throw - not too thick, and not too big. It IS a relaxing way to occupy time while listening to a book or tv.
❤❤❤😂
Just found you on you tube. I like the owl and would love to make it , but I need the measurements of the cords and the size of the cord. What is the finished size of the owl?
How would making the rainbow work if made with I-cord made from the French knitting tool? Have you tried that?
I haven’t tried that! That’s a good idea, I think it would be the same but with looser crochet? Fun use for French knitting cord!
You have a unique gift for capturing emotions and personalities in your creations
Great instruction. Would love you to slow this down by at least a third and change the music to something more relaxing.
If you look up in the right-hand corner, you will see the gear icon, which means settings. Tap on it. Look down the menu for speed. YOU CAN SLOW DOWN OR SPEED UP VIDEOS TO SUIT YOUR TASTE AND NEEDS. Normal is in the middle . Slowing it'd own requires clicking on one of the numbers above 100% like 50%. Speeding up requires you tap on something over 100% like 125% which speed it up a bit. This isn't going to address your music requests, but it will make the instructions more suited to your needs.
Great video.... Thank You❤❤❤
Glad you liked it! Have fun with your spool knitting!
