Thank you for this! One question I have left is how buproprion inhibits the function of NET and DET. I'm imagining it either clogging up the exhaust fan or slowing the fan's motor somehow.
Hi. Sorry it took so long to respond. I think there was an error with UA-cam, and your comment didn't show up in the new comments section. Bupropion does not clog or permanently damage NET or DAT. Instead, bupropion temporarily binds to these transporters in a reversible manner, blocking the reuptake of neurotransmitters. So inhbition occurs without any damage to transporter proteins.
I'm trying to come off this medicine and having debilitating withdrawals. Is there anything that would help taper off this medicine theoretically speaking? Of course I will talk to my prescribing Dr. There just isn't much information out there. Great explanation!
Sorry, but I can't give u medical advices through the internet, can only recommend to consult with your local physician. Thanks for watching, appreciate it very much )
@Foxterrier Thanks for replying, unfortunately at this time my prescriber has no answers, so I'm scouring the internet. I wonder if a withdrawal from common prescriptions like SSRIs, or others would be of value to you and others. The very simplistic way you describe things is very cool. I understand your position and I thank you much.
Great video! Thank you:)
