I had cacophony on cassette, I remember being so worried that it would not show up, bc you had to order it from a magazine. Love that you guys have helped Jason and his family.

When I was about 9 years old, I heard Cacophony and was blown away. It was around 92/93, I had started guitar lessons. The teacher was this dude named Ozzy, and he showed me what he was working on and played it for me. Those guitars couldn't have ended up in a better place.
Jason's life is very well lived each and every day. I know this because we all still love him and listen to him all the time. All the heads have kept him in their hearts since the beginning and will continue to do so until the very end.

I remember hearing DLR's Alittle Aint Enough the first time. I thought it was Steve Vai for sure. The stupid busy rhythm style mixing leads all through out. It just sounded technically impossible for any other player than the out of this world guitar wizardry that was Vai. Of course this was long before UA-cam, and even the Internet. If MTV didnt play the video or A Guitar magazine didnt talk about it. You didnt hear about it. Learning by ear off of cassette tapes. Players now have it made..
