The history of the guitar is that. ok remember that wooden trolley with wooden bricks in it with colored numbers/letters on them when you were a kid if your within a certain time frame, hey they might still make them. Jason wanted it to look like a child's toy your Abc blocks.
That's the whole point, apparently JB loved to troll back in the day, he used to be a Mozart type of prodigy, playing with one hand and doing yo-yo tricks with another ect
8:32 to 8:40 Was absolutley brilliant!!! One of the best ascending arpeggio licks I've heard. Awesome Guitar, terrific playing. Jason is a true inspiring hero (along with his parents, who have taken care of him since his ALS diagnoses).
It's one of my favorites. When I was a kid I wrecked 2 guitars trying to make my own Numbers guitar. When I could finally get a "real" one it was a gift to teenage me.
Hey look it's that guy from the UA-cam shorts. Edit: Never seen anything from you other than Shorts, but I found it hilarious when you said a "little demonstration of the distorted sound" and then proceeded to melt my face off down to the bone. You, sir, are insanely good.
I have a JB200C and it is by far my favorite guitar. Never was a big Numbers guitar fan but seeing it in this video makes me want one. I've been really into the song Rain lately, Jason was a master with the whammy bar and seeing his comments after Jeff Beck's passing it makes sense where he got the inspiration from.
I got goosebumps when you lifted that thing up. JB is my favorite of all times and I really love him. When I was 15, listening to his Altitudes and Perpetual Burn I was so blown away and it was just the coolest thing ever... this was back in early 90s. Congrats man and PLEASE take good care of this jem. Stunning guitar
@Jack Tripper I had two idols throught my teen years back i late 80s and early 90s. Jason Backer and Michael Jordan. Things like this bring back so many great memories. Back then you had MTV, the radio and CDs. And as a young guitar player listening ti Altitudes for the first time was special... when you dont have access to everything you cherish things much more.
Great looking guitar I love how it combines in one guitar a kind of elegant reserved design with the wooden body and then sprinkles in some fun with the colours and the numbers - Beautiful Guitar.
I also bought a Kiesel #’s guitar to support Jason. I’m not that great of a player, Jason has just been an inspiration to me and my life. Thanks for the outstanding demo! I’ll put my vote in for a cover of “Blue”
I wonder what Classical Gas would sound like on a rig like that. Kinda makes my mouth water... where would Jamie insert chiming?? and holy smokes what fun he could have with harmonics on that one... 🤯😎 (the kind of things that keep me awake at night) ✌🏻❤️🎶
WOW I didn't know anybody was making these, sounds and looks amazing and great playing by the way. I will be dreaming about one of these tonight! Thanks
Congrats on the new guitar! It looks amazing! I have not listened to Jason at all so this will be a good opportunity to learn about him. Thanks for sharing.
Hi 👋🏻 , Jason and his life and music is an incredible story, he is by far one of the greatest to ever touch a guitar 🎸, even well before he was 20 ! You’re in for a treat ! Uhh you may want to fasten your seat belt ! 😮 He was amazing even way back then in the 80’s and 90’s and in many ways even more so nowadays. Jason will have a new fan shortly, his playing is gonna blow your mind ! 🤯 Happy listening 😄🎸🤘🏻🙂
Jamie, you got hooked up with that piece of swamp ash body, looks so cool! Also the head stock matches the grain of the body! I have a JB200C and love it, it is rock solid,! I have had it since August of 2021 and I have not had to touch the truss rod for adjustment yet and I live in the northeast USA with changing temps and humidity. It's built like a tank and sounds awesome! Can't wait to put in the build for the JB24.
Jason becker is one of my favorite guitar players too him and George Lynch are so underrated. Jason becker and George Lynch are two of my favorite guitar players who have some of the coolest guitars ever made.
Dude you Absolutely nailed the Eric Johnson Tone right there... That Guitar is amazing, I watched Herman Lee play Jason's Actual Numbers Guitar and it sounded awesome...
People often joke that this i a guitar for people who don't know how to play guitar and need numbers, but beyond that being stupid because of who's guitar this is modeled after (Ha!) but it's unironically a FANTASTIC guitar for someone who *teaches* guitar. I've been playing guitar for over 30 years, and I can "sight read" what you are playing in 1/2 the time it would normally take.
The numbers guitar was always my favorite guitar that Jason played. It would be supercool if you did his song end of the beginning. I've been practicing that song.
Thank You for introducing me to Jason Becker I been listening to him ever since I saw your video on tiktok and it's definitely driven me to continue playing and learning more guitar as well you are a amazing player and you always astonish me with your playing can't wait to hear more 🫶
Damn! While I try not to judge a book by its cover, I was shocked when you pulled out the shredder beast. Fun fact, that guitar is a copy of the original one, which was a Peavey. The original was built for Jason by Jim DeCola, same guy who designed the Wolfgang. He's currently a master luthier with Gibson.
If you know or any one passing by can you confirm if that one had Dimarzio`s in it? I think it might have been tone zone bridge Paf pro neck middle no idea. As the Seymour set came much Later.
I've never cared for the look of the Becker guitar but I love, love, love that it continues to be made and purchased. An ongoing tribute to an amazing player dealt a horrendously bad hand.
Thats was a great demonstration. Many highly technical super fast guitarists on UA-cam, but your playing was interesting the way Steve Vai's noodling is interesting when hes improvising on stage.
You're amazing guitar player and teacher! Now You have absolutely amazing guitar with stainless steel frets! I've one LTD with stainless steel jumbo frets, and it is so easy to make vibratos, slides and bends with it! You said that in Toronto you have some very big temperature and moisture changes throughout the year, and it is possible that your guitars react to it someway. Here in Espoo, Finland we have about the same climate conditions throughout the year: very warm summers and sometimes very harsh winters with lot of snow, but sometimes only very windy and rainy.
Love the guitar, REALLY love the music in the first 4-5 minutes. is it all your own compositions? My favorite JB song is "Altitudes" and I have to add "X Ray Eyes" [Cacophony] also. I hope that Kiesel puts a smile on your face every time you play it.
In 89, I had a DC145 made with the ST body, floyd and ebony board with the block inlays, pointy headstock and tung oil finish. I never realized at the time the ST body would be made for so short a period. I had to sell it in 92 in Cleveland. I have never been able to locate it since then. These are great guitars.
First I've seen of ya. Got to say , your picking and fretting is some of the cleanest I've ever seen. Every note very detailed. You show extreme dedication to posture which is a huge aid to achieve that. Very enjoyable to watch. Grats on the epic guitar man , and keep blasting those sweet clean sounds.
Looks amazing, sounds incredible, great work. As for what to cover with it? Temple of the Absurd would be my shout. But I'll be happy to hear anything of Jason's
That guitar looks incredible and sounds even better. 11 Blue Egyptians off of perpetual burn is my favourite song by Jason. I think Marty Friedman makes an appearance on that one as well.
It looks like a second grader built it for a school project, but with a 'little' too much help from his luthier father. I absolutely love it
The history of the guitar is that. ok remember that wooden trolley with wooden bricks in it with colored numbers/letters on them when you were a kid if your within a certain time frame, hey they might still make them. Jason wanted it to look like a child's toy your Abc blocks.

@@ronny12tech I have seen the yo yo footage.
You definitely deserve that guitar. You're a magnificent player
Thank you! 😁🙏
It's rare that I care more about the player than the instrument... you're such an amazing player
Thanks so much! 🙏😊
8:32 to 8:40 Was absolutley brilliant!!! One of the best ascending arpeggio licks I've heard. Awesome Guitar, terrific playing. Jason is a true inspiring hero (along with his parents, who have taken care of him since his ALS diagnoses).
8:35 sounds like a MAB lick
It's awesome that money goes to help Jason from the sale of the Jason Becker tribute guitars.
jason becker is the most underrated guitarist in history.
nah its buck dharma
Incredible demo. If anyone is worthy to have that axe, it’s you man. Thanks!
Thanks so much! 🙏😊
It's one of my favorites. When I was a kid I wrecked 2 guitars trying to make my own Numbers guitar. When I could finally get a "real" one it was a gift to teenage me.
Beautiful tribute to an amazing human. He is a legend in guitar world!
big congrats on the buy!! You are worthy of that guitar for sure 🎸❤️
This was on my feed.... never heard of Jason...... Thank you
Beautiful guitar and a great demo! Enjoy it!
A thing of beauty!
Congratulations! Jason is a genius and some covers of his compositions are very welcomed.
Hey look it's that guy from the UA-cam shorts.
Edit: Never seen anything from you other than Shorts, but I found it hilarious when you said a "little demonstration of the distorted sound" and then proceeded to melt my face off down to the bone. You, sir, are insanely good.
Haha glad you liked it! 😁
amazing playing
I love Jason Becker, you do the guitar justice my dude!
Wow man, your playing is insanely clean, beautifully played.

That's a solid demo, Jamie! I really like Dweller in the Cellar and Eleven Blue Egyptians.
Jamie plays really good....🔥🌀🔥🌀🔥🌀
Well done and congrats Jamie!! Little Aint Enough!!
Great looking guitar I love how it combines in one guitar a kind of elegant reserved design with the wooden body and then sprinkles in some fun with the colours and the numbers - Beautiful Guitar.
Sounds great man! You were so HAPPY unboxing!
As soon as I saw the video preview, I knew immediately who used that guitar. Awesome tribute to an amazing player.
You play fantastically fantastic!

Gorgeous guitar and killer playing!
Thanks! 😁👍
That settles it. I gotta get one.
I always loved Jason's guitar back then. It was one of the more unique designs of that era and a lot of fun.
Is this THE SteveOuimette?!!! Big Fan!!
@@evanames2359 It's me❤🔥 Evan, thank you for the support!

Grats on your new axe and kudos for the shoutout to one of the greatest players of all time!
Thank you!
Excellent demo. Clearly this guitar has found its way into very capable hands!
Congrats on the new guitar! It looks amazing! I have not listened to Jason at all so this will be a good opportunity to learn about him. Thanks for sharing.

Greetings from la Spezia

The clean tone from the single coil is really good.
I just can’t help but think of the high likelihood Jason will watch this, such a beautiful unique guitar. Playing too! 🎶

Kiesels are soooo underrated, now you've got me itching for another! Nice job man, enjoy for many years in good health!
Awesome. Looks like Keds 90’s colors. Child like, nostalgic. Sounds great, really cool set up, wow. 🎉
Blue - Jason Becker would be my pick for a cover. I love that song.
Dude you Absolutely nailed the Eric Johnson Tone right there... That Guitar is amazing, I watched Herman Lee play Jason's Actual Numbers Guitar and it sounded awesome...

Yeah, I was thinking my students are gonna love it! 😂
Those pikups sound good. Very clear and articulated. Nice guitar overall. Jason rules :)
Great Playin Man!!!!
Great playing and sound man.
The numbers guitar was always my favorite guitar that Jason played. It would be supercool if you did his song end of the beginning. I've been practicing that song.
I'm glad you did this video. I've been thinking about getting a Kiesel guitar. Maybe a custom. I've been simmering on the design for a while 😆😆
Duuuude I was just watching your Images cover like 10 minutes ago, congrats!! What a cool axe
Thank you! 😁👍
Luv your demo Jamie🎸🎸🎸
Thanks so much! 😁🙏
The clean tones sound great!
Just love that solo volume control! I absolutely love this guitar company! I think Max Ostro also plays them. Congratulations!
Literally just discovered you now! Wow! I'm subscribed!

Nice! 👍😁
This was the first video that I have seen from you and yeah good shit bro. All you need now is a yoyo.
Beautiful expression Jamie!
Crisp and clean… It seems like a perfect marriage between the guitar and your technique.
So freaking cool
The cleans are incredible
Sweet guitar dude!
😁🙏
really loved that second position tone!
I've never cared for the look of the Becker guitar but I love, love, love that it continues to be made and purchased. An ongoing tribute to an amazing player dealt a horrendously bad hand.
YOOOO your guitar work is just amazing man
At around 9:00 I was like WHAT!
Sounds phenomenal! This guitar is slowly winning over me..
Never seen one but that is awesome 😎.... I will check out Jason Becker.... that Axe he designed is awesome 😎
Great playing, sounds killer!
Loved this! X-Ray Eyes by Cacophony remains one of my favorite songs Jason worked on, if you're looking for something of his to jam out.
Awesome guitar, awesome playing.
JB I’m sure will be impressed with that!🤘
I can tell just buy watching you play that it plays like butter! I need one now for sure.
Killer guitar.
Cover its showtime!!!

Congratulations on your dream guitar dude, I'm happy for you! :D
Also, those sweeps are blistering haha it makes me laugh how effortless they look! :s

perpetual burn is my favorite. I haven't looked at the comments but I'm sure it's been said 200x already
Please do full cover Altitudes, Perpetual Burn or Eleven Blue Egyptians. Any of those 🥺
