Everything about ansem was great to me. Even finding out he was just another heartless didnt change anything, the dude is a great villain. The monologue, the henchmen guardian, the outfit, THAT. VOICE.
Still my favorite villain in the series. Not much screen time, but he really had something the others didnt. And yes his voice is badass

Well he wasn't just some heartless he was Xehanort's heartless, an individual who is capable of channeling darkness. Xemnas is Xehanort's nobody. Both very dangerous in their own ways.

Ansem wasn't wrong. The kingdom hearts behind the door was indeed darkness. If only he just moved out the way from the burst of light.
I think that was when Sora unconsciously deactivated it. I believe during that time he manifested the light door of Kingdom Hearts since he is the only one to open that said door.
Nah it was the realm of darkness that had it. Kingdom hearts itself was light.
I like to think Mickey was the cause of that light.

@@johangodojolo8652 I guess you're fine with ignoring the facts, in case you were unaware Ansem was on his last legs, he reached out to the door for power because he had already lost against Sora, it was his last resort.
Are you gonna tell me that even if I'm a bloody mess from fighting one really strong guy that I'd still be able to take out 50 way weaker dudes? That's not how injuries work, no matter how much stronger someone is than you it really wouldn't take much to end you at that point, Mickey could have bonked him on the head with the keyblade one more time and Ansem would have been knocked out, so it's no surprise to me that an extremely powerful blast of light like that would destroy him.
Especially since Ansem is also a denizen of the darkness, so light would hurt him even more than it would hurt someone else, Sora would be invincible against light but to Ansem it'd be like an albino going out in sunlight.
So Ansem could probably endure the light normally, but at this point in time he was literally about to die, I can't think of a character who couldn't kill Ansem at that point.

I really like the symmetry between Ansem and Xemnas in the sense that Ansem got more ridiculous as far as look and size as the fight continued, and Xemnas got less ridiculous.
Xehanort is one of the few long running villains who can get their asses kicked(even if it’s in a different incarnation time to time) yet still remain an unnerving threat when they return
Poor Aqua, she has no bloody luck 😢😢. I think she is one the strongest keyblade weilders out there. Obviously not in physical strength but that woman is a force to be reckoned with, when she is saved she better become Kairi's master.

Yeah Riku wasn't isolated for 12 years in the Realm of Darkness while battling a constant barrage of heartless and trying to maintain his mental stability.... for 12 fucking years. He spent what 2 years battling and owning the darkness within himself while Mickey and friends helping for some parts. He didn't have it that bad. Terra and Aqua were both royally fucked over.
How Very Dare You Riku almost killed his best friend and damned another to almost becoming a heartless. Terras friends kinda got off easy. Ones in the heart of a kid whose light incarnate. And one was helped by Mickey many a times
Ven doesn't count, his lazy ass is just snoozing. Riku fell to darkness once, and it was not Riku who tried to kill Sora, it was Ansem (Riku was just the vessel) also the heartless ordeal was Sora's doing and choice. I'm not saying Riku didn't have it hard because he did, he spent 2 years battling and accepting his darkness as his own but..... Aqua has had tougher. You know my reasons and I still think Aqua had it tougher and that is my opinion.

No but seriously, that quote Ansem (SoD) says before he disappears really got to me. It makes you realize that this is the end of an era, an end to an amazing saga. We have grown attached to him as one of the best villains in the series, and it makes me sad to see him gone for good.
I like how in 0.2 Mickey has a lot of dynamic expressions instead of having a permanent smile in different situations and moods. But in KHIII they went straight back to having all Disney characters smiling at all times regardless of mood.
Kingdom Hearts never disappoints with the over-the-top, cathartic and extravagant Final boss battles.
So basically we fight an incarnation of Xehanort every game. Sweet.

MaskBladeAvery I know they're all incarnations of xehanort, but they all have different names, ways of doing things ,mannerisms, goals and voices actors.
all those things pretty much makes them all different characters. the only thing they all really have in common is silver hair, yellow eyes and dark skin, with that much I could pass them all of as brother's and there would really be no way of telling that they were all just splintered pieces of one person.

Terra had the freedom to travel ever since he started training with Eraqus. I don't think it applies to him too much. Riku and Xehanort do have really interesting parallels. Riku was just lucky he had great friends like Mickey, Sora and Kairi to help him through.
I think Chain of Memories(Sora story),358 days and Coded are the only games that the final boss isn't a version of Xehanort.

Hey, I've got some good tips for Young Xehanort in case anyone was wondering.
Firstly, get a Thunderaffe with the Blue streak disposition. Trust me, this will help.
Also ensure that you have a Spirit with Slow Block (I don't remember if Thunderaffe gets it or not).
And secondly, your best asset is patience. Rushing in to attack him is a one way ticket to getting royally screwed over.

Well BBS in general has terrible balance and boss design so your frustration is valid. Everyone hates the gameplay of BBS and DDD
