All that matters is that you liked what you got out of the trade. They weren’t books I would have traded for but we have different interests in comics. I would love to have that Green Lantern myself. I’ve been looking for an affordable decent copy. I do love seeing trading. I don’t think it happens enough in the hobby. Congrats to you both on getting books you both wanted.

I think you both did fine - the ASM 124 was very cheap so that's nice. Loved the Atlas Battle Front pick up. I think it's pre-code as well as I didn't notice the CCA stamp on the cover. The Avengers did appear in an early issue of X-Men, #9 I think. I would have been tempted to pick up those pre-code Crime books he had. They seemed pretty reasonably priced!

You are correct that you have to get books that one likes. That said I would’ve done this trade every day. He got a book that I would love to have as I’m sure many people all he did was give up rather common books. There were some minor keys, but I still think he got the better end of this. If you’re interested in more trades, hit me up.
I appreciate hearing your take on the trade. He got the better book for sure, but I don’t collect green lantern and I had very little money into the book, so it worked in my favor. I typically wouldn’t do a trade like this. I like to trade up not down. But it was nice to help out a friend. Thanks Lee!
Always a fair trade if both are really happy with their return (I mean that’s what this hobby is all about) and the money is close. Usually more money value in the stack than the one book, but regardless that’s a good deal.

Is a Spider-man Noir 1-4 worth anything?
If it’s the first volume from 2009, then yes, those are worth quite a few bucks! Issue number one is the first appearance of Spider-Man noir.
You lost the trade but at least you got to help a buddy out by letting go of a book you weren’t attached to. I would have done the same.
