@@Peni5Wrinkle Feh! I spotted a box of comics at a pawn shop priced at $800 and took it home for around half that. Nice pick up I wouldn't usually go back and pay up for profit but if these things graded hit the thousands I feel like it's just right. You could see it was not easy for him to let it all go in the video👍💯
I like these videos, and it's nice to see that he is being transparent and fair to the sellers. The only thing that makes me a bit sad is seeing people let go of things they collected and valued throughout certain periods of their lives. I have comic books and other items that I couldn't imagine selling a few years ago, but now I'm seriously considering it. It's not because I need the money, but because I know no one around me would be interested in or value them. Selling them might be a good way to ensure they are treasured in good hands.
Can I ask a real question? Why did he let you take everything for an absolute steal if he knew the value of what he had was much greater? Genuinely curious
Sometimes you just grow out of it or just not into a hobby anymore. If your really into Buying, selling , trading collectibles, your likely doing it as a full time hobby or as a business which takes up alot of your attention/time otherwise it becomes a bunch of junk that keeps taking up space in your home. The fella here even refered to it as junk. Priorities change and in the end they are collectibles, not precious gems. They may not have value to you anymore but they may be valuable to someone else so its not a huge deal to just get rid of it, take what money you can and let someone else enjoy it then maybe he uses that money to invest in somethjng else that he sees more value in. Notice though, he did not part with some things becuase they had sentimental value, they were the things he and his son shared. Not saying This is what happened here but maybe?
It takes a lot of time and effort to sell things for anywhere near the going rate. Like months if not years of effort for all that stuff. Sometimes life smacks you across the face and forces your priorities to change and you may not have the ability to invest all that time into selling it all individually to get the most from it.
So thoughtful of you to give him the extra money. I think that made him breath a little easier. Especially since he said, really are you sure. He was very happy at that point. Good for you.
I've just discovered you on UA-cam, I must say your enthusiasm and wonderful manner with sellers is admirable. Yours to me is the dream job, live long and prosper my friend
You are by far my favorite guy to watch on UA-cam. The type of things you pick up is what draws me in but the way you treat people is why I keep coming back. I'm trying to find a way to get myself out there & make connections with people. Living an hour away from any decent sized town does not do much for being able to find interested sellers.
Best channel for going down memory lane. I had so many of these toys and comics. Thank you for sharing, really brings back some great memories of my childhood.
Love that you called your business an adventure, and stressed how much you value treated customers fairly and respectfully and gracefully. That's such a good mindset for anyone to have, both about the way one makes a living and about the way one exists as a human in society. If only those who run and work in big corporate businesses had the same!
1:59 my sis as a toddler had the set of those plush Teletubbies when they came out, she carried them around and chewed them and clung onto them so much they were barely recognisable from one another after a few years--i mean she totally mauled them. but that's the true main purpose of dolls & toys imo (no disrespect to collectors). iirc that line of Teletubbies were made quite big and firm though soft to touch, and their stomach plates crackled, so pretty much constituted the ideal huggable sensory doll design for very young kids.
Always a good day when I see a Flips video uploaded. You got me back into collecting all my old SNES and Sega games. Thanks for the continued content brother.

im not even in this space, but i love seeing all the older toys u find! brings me back to my younger years and u are a treat to watch man!
This was fun! You do right by your deals. Tfs and Happy New Year , Froggy!
That was so nice, thank you!
Awesome video, love it. That was the 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie sticker, a lower graded PSA one can bring from 3 to 600. A Psa 9 will sell for 3-5k, and a gem mint 10 will sell for 35k.
🐸 Your literally my inspiration to start my reselling business. All I’m waiting on is my label printer then I’m ganna start listing! Already have 2 closets full of unopened toys ready to list. I’m an overnight manager at Walmart so I get clearance before the rest of the crowd! So excited to see what the future brings!!
CONGRATS ON YOUR SCORE HERE!
Very cool, best of luck to ya!
how has it went?
Froggy, don't apologize for the length of the video because it only seemed like it was a minute or two long as I watched it! Good for you, once again showing how being fair makes the world a better place. 💚
That Michael jordan card 😳 alone was worth more than all that stuff alone. If that was part of the deal I would've jumped on it asap lol 😆 😂 great content and a sweet deal on everything. You got a great deal on it all.
YOU are one of the best re sellers I ever watched on youtube! You are super fair, polite and just an all around good guy! when im ready to sell my collection I wont hesitate to hit you up!
It's a good day when Froggy Flips uploads!
Loved it! I love the self control you have knowing very well how excited you were
You really scored on this video. The toys alone will put you in the positive. And then the comics, depending on condition and if you get them graded is worth thousands... Good job! I wish I could come across a box of comics like that for $1200.... 🥴
Yeah, grading is gonna be long and expensive but I think it’ll be worth it!
He will cover the 1200.00 on the House of Secrets alone if he decides to sell at Comic Con
@@dusty52267 He definitely made a killing! :)
im gonna sell Batman 181 but i dont think ive patience with grading , takes too long time imo@@FroggyFlips
This video encapsalates why i love this channel. So fun. I'll be watching for another year for sure!
Double check that Darth Vader to see if it has a ‘telescopic light saber’. If it is you may want to recheck that pricing.
Happy New Year mate! ✌🏻🇦🇺
Obviously not cause its on a ROTJ Card
Thanks for all the time, effort and videos this year. Always a pleasure to watch. Hope you are all well and safe. Happy New Year!
I wish i could buy some of the awesome stuff you find! Happy New Year Anthony so glad I found your channel earlier this year! 😃
Thanks so much!
You'll do well with this find because you both treated each other fairly!! --Can't wait to see the numbers when all is said and done!!
What a sweet score!!!!Congrats Froggy 🐸. I'm so happy for you and you deserve it. You're an awesome guy! The Jason and the comics are my favorite things you bought 👍😁 Anyway, Happy New Year to you and yours!!!!! 2023 is going to be a bad ass year for you I believe!!!!!!
This video sums up the reason why I love this channel and this seller. Huge respect
This dude inspires me to want to film my little thrift/flea market adventures! Love your content man!
Thanks so much!
Super excited watching your excitement! Have fun culling what to keep/display and sell😊
Nice pick up I wouldn't usually go back and pay up for profit but if these things graded hit the thousands I feel like it's just right. You could see it was not easy for him to let it all go in the video👍💯
What an awesome chap. 😊great video. Thank you so much.
That comic haul is insanity! So many heavy hitters.
You deserve finding scores like this. Kindness wins!
Thank you!
The length of the video was perfect because it was ridiculously entertaining. Thank you for sharing.
That first appearance of swamp thing is the absolute coolest score I've seen of your stuff yet, personally. Mind-blowing.
Beautiful comic finds! The secret wars 8 is one of my favorites! The first appearance of swamp thing and Deadpool is a nice pickup! Great haul
U HAVE THE BESTEST LIFE!!! THANK U 4 SHARING!!!!!!❤😂🙏👍
Wow!! I would have been shaking and nervous too! You totally scored! Amazing pick-up!!
You deserve all the best man. You’re so nice and genuine. Hope nothing but success this new year
Love that you called your business an adventure, and stressed how much you value treated customers fairly and respectfully and gracefully. That's such a good mindset for anyone to have, both about the way one makes a living and about the way one exists as a human in society. If only those who run and work in big corporate businesses had the same!
This video is awesome! Im 57 and just starting collecting goes to show you can start at any age. Video was super fun! Thanks for shsring
AGREED! You can never go wrong treating people right!
I LOVE LOVE the telletubbies!!!! I’m super excited for you to have gotten this deal!!!
All i can say is " WOW" , happy New Year to you and yours . God bless !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You’re Beyond awesome sir , you definitely paid fairly , I hope you continue to keep spreading love and being great and I hope nothing but the best for you these up coming years . 🙏
Awesome deal. I've been doing this on a smaller scale just to support my collection. I'd love to expand it and quit my day job. One of my best I picked up the mum ra looks like that but the rare one for $8 at a pawn shop.
Nothing beats getting home from work to discover a new Froggy Video!
Thanks Anthony
Some of that stuff is almost mint. OMG that King Kong poster. Ive never seen a cardback Kenner Starwars figure still intact. Ive been looking for that G1 Soundwave for like 30 years. The comic collection is nuts. Amazing deal.
* Love watching you make deals with guys like that. So hesitant yet anxious to sell.. Was surprised that you didn't have spare cash after the deal was made. When you toss in Extra at the End, I know why I watch you. You aren't trying to rip people off.. Bless you . . If I had any of those You are the one I would want to deal with..
Amazing hall loving your vibe. Many blessings.Ill be watching.Thank you for sharing!
Love the videos. Always nostalgic and therapeutic. Thanks Froggy
Gary here from BC Canada. Thank you for All your videos. I enjoy your videos and the learning you teach. Thank you
Love the Nostalgia from going through the comics. Remembering a lot of those cartoons from Saturday morning hehe
The guy was obviously a flipper and just passed his torch on. Very wholesome interaction and fair dealings between both parties.
What an incredible haul. Great finds there. You went from only 2 items to getting like 200+ items. lol.
I love your awesome videos because of your integrity and relaxed character.
Thank you!
