What the heck are those deals that you got, all my local comic shop did was 10 percent off for everthing except subscriptions, or pending orders. My Local comic store is so lackluster that i am actually considering not going to it as they barely have any bronze or even silver age comics and seriously 10% is like why even bother.

I still have my original Star Wars Return of the Jedi set of four books, although the cover of the last one is missing. Still, they are a few of the only comic books I still have from my childhood. I won't ever let them go! Great haul video! Congrats on all the great finds!

My LCS had all back issues comics for 1 dollar, $5-$10 normally priced, picked up 100 LOL, 50%off is pretty good as well there

Great job, thank you for sharing your knowledge. There is definitely a lot of my comics that need to be cleaned and pressed, but I don’t know of anybody close to me that does it. 😎

I wonder if a press would take out beer from when I was in college in the early 90s and part of my collection took a dousing from a keg party? I'm just wondering if I could restore my McFarland Batman book that I bought off the rack could be restored like that? It's still good other than the beer damage lol

The secret of the Archie books is collectors want the innuendo covers! Those seem to sell the best! $250 for everything? That's hard to say given your expectations of the possibility of keys in the collection and unfortunately, not! If the books were in better condition? He probably would have charged more! But at the end of the day, at least you are happy finding some issues that you needed to complete a series! Overall, not bad!

Definitely overpaid unless they were just for your personal collection. If you’re selling then after cost and personal time to move them then you’re definitely in the red.

The Whitman books do not have the issue number on the cover. Back in the day I bought a few packs at a toy store and realized there was no number! If I had known those packs would be very coveted 40 years later, I would have bought all of them! LOL

Given the aproaching or 50 year status of bronze age books, and the cheap paper they are printed on I'm amazed how many mid-high grade books are out there in the wild.

Where do you find comics like this?? Are these from a flea market or someone's just sitting around comics? I like that you get some that are not all in mint condition

Low grade or not, that’s a pretty nice haul; I’d be happy with it. I’d say you overpaid but with that Night Nurse #1 being in there I think you did well.

One book that stands out is For Lovers Only 70 (the one you said looks like Elvis). It has a non-PC spanking panel inside. Yes, they sell pretty well. Most romance books do actually. Another book that stands out is the House of Secrets 103. Classic Wrightson cover. Give it a press maybe you can fix the back cover
