Thanks for watching! If what you mean by "direct fit" does it just mount on without any need for modifications, then yes it's a direct mount. In detail, there is a machined aluminum piece that first mounts to the lower just like a regular grip, and then the rubber piece mounts securely over that piece. The grip itself is actually aluminum covered in rubber so it's incredibly sturdy. It allows for the rubber piece to be rotated vertically, at an angle, or moved forward or backward which allows a great amount of customization. The grip is rock-solid as I've put several thousand rounds through the SCAR I have in this video and it's never loosened. I love this grip so much that I was going to put it on every rifle I own, but right now, that cost would be prohibitive, so I haven't done it yet. Now, you have to have huge meat-hook hands for this grip--some of my buddies who have smaller hands didn't like it.
